-------------------------------------------------

The black void shrank.

From a storm... To a vortex... To a trembling sphere—No bigger than a coin.

And still—It fought with it all.

Devara knelt beneath it as it gets closer and closer his body was he one which was suffering from it.

His body no longer obeying him.

His eyes—Rolled white due to the intense pain he was currently receiving.

Blood streamed—From both his eyes... And the blazing wound that was his third eye which was getting used to his forehead.

The Third Eye of Destruction pulled harder.

The coin-sized singularity trembled giving up—Dragged closer—Closer—To his forehead as if it was about to be merged.

It was transferred from annihilation. To save containment.

Devara screamed in high pitch as the pain raised a new height.

Not like a warrior. Like something breaking. His voice began to crack.

"-Ahhhh!!!"

Because his body—Was never meant—To hold this much even with vajra body.

His body was getting stressed by the immense requirement which is not met since he was a mortal.

His nerves lit up like fire even more as if he was a creepy monster instead a handsome prince.

His muscles locked.

His very veins looked ready to rupture and let him die in peace.

And yet—He held by his pure will.

Because if he let go—Everything below would vanish.

And his mother Bhudevi might be dragged into this.

But as he thought... he wasn’t alone.

The chain. That simple pearl chain—Given by Yami1 in the form of a humble fisher girl—Began to glow.

Red. And Blue.

It pulsed wildly as if it was overworking—Trying to stabilize him.

Trying to cool the storm inside his mind which carries the unbelievable pain he was currently feeling.

Smoke rose from it showing how much strain was currently on it.

Even it—Was reaching its limit.

Suryaloka...1

Far away from the Bhulok—In Suryaloka

Yami’s Chamber...

Yami1 felt it.

Not just saw. Felt it. The pain.

The tearing feeling. The unbearable strain.

Her body heated—As if she herself was burning.

Her divine nature resisted it—But barely. Her eyes widened in realization.

"No—!"

She screamed loudly as she saw Devara’s who was currently having a life battle with the black hole which was being pulled towards his third eye of destruction.

Through the maya screen she summoned which she could see him when ever she wanted through the pearl chain she had given to him.

The sound echoed across the Surya palace1.

Drawing the attention of both Goddess Sandhya and Goddess Chhaya

Who had been watching the battlefield through their divine sight—Following Karna their son whose lineage they had found out recently.

But now—They turned as they heard their daughter’s scream. And rushed.

"...."

"...."

When they arrived at her chamber. They found Yami—Kneeling. Crying. Trembling showing how devastated she was.

Before the Maya screen.

And what they saw—Made even them step back in shock and little bit of fear.

Because Devara the boy their daughter loves the one who can rival even his fathers in his beauty was currently lookin very horrifying—Was changing.

Not fully. Not completely. But enough. It was the effect o pushing the limit of the mortal body way beyond its capablities.

His form—Distorted by power radiating from his fore head.

His aura—Dark since the black hole was started to merge or swallowed by his third eye of destruction.

Fierce due to the force which was being used to pull the black hole towards it.

But for them they saw it. The glimpse—Of something ancient which made many evil forces, gods and rakshasas to tremble in fear just by her appearance.

Something terrifying enough one might pass out or die just looking at her terrifying appearance which is more horrifying then most of the Goddess Parvati’s other avatars.

Something that resembled closer to her— Goddess Chamundi.

Not fully her.

But close enough—To shake even divine hearts.

Sandhya froze taking in everything.

Chhaya stepped back but soon snapped back of her thought.

Because what they saw—Was not just power.

It was destruction given form.

But then—They moved forward to their daughter. Instinct.

They reached Yami—Pulling her into an embrace.

Holding her tightly—As she broke into tears.

"I can feel it—!"

Yami cried sensing the pain Devara was going through.

"He’s... he’s burning—!"

Her voice shattered.

"I can feel everything—!"

Her hands trembled. Tears falling without pause.

Meanwhile...

Bhulokh...1

The sky exhaled as the void finally merged or swallowed into Devara’s third eye of destruction.

The void—Gone. Completely.

Where a tearing darkness had threatened to swallow the world—Now there was only wind which was blowing heavier since the gravity of the black hole which was pulling them into it had faded.

And silence.

"...."

"...."

"...."

On the balcony of the Pushpaka Vimana1—Devara collapsed as soon as the black hole is absorbed into his third eye.

Face-first as he passed out. Unmoving.

His body trembled uncontrollably.

Not from cold. From overflow.

Veins still bulged—Dark. Prominent.

Refusing to calm down since the situation is already been dealt with.

Because what he had pulled inside himself—Had not disappeared.

It had only changed location from outside his body to the inside his body—The energy raged.

A miniature collapse—Now trapped within a living vessel.

His yogic channels—Galaxy-like in structure—Tried to contain it.

But the force behind it—Was violent. And Unstable as the raw energy of it is trying to maneuver.

It surged through him—Like a storm trapped in a fragile cage.

Crashing. Rebounding. All over inside his body.

Searching for release.

And without control—Without guidance—It would tear him apart from inside out.

Below—The battlefield remained.

Alive. As the battle was still going on between the two sides.

Unaware of how close it had come to ending.

But above—A different battle had begun.

One inside a single body.

Inside Devara’s mind—The system rang.

[-DUM!-DUM!-] [-DUM!-DUM!-]

[-DUM!-DUM!-] [-DUM!-DUM!-]...

Again.... And again.... And again...

Warnings layered over warnings.

[WARNING!!!] [WARNING!!!] [WARNING!!!]

[WARNING!!!] [WARNING!!!]...

[Instability detected.... Critical condition. Containment failure risk rising.]

Then—A shift. The system adapted. Sensing the containment was having a risk of failure.

[Permission requesting to grand the Kamsa’s defeat quest reward before... Due to host was facing a life threatening dangers...]

And granted.

[-DUM!-DUM!-]

[Permission was granted...]

[Objective Updated:

Defeat Kamsa.

Prevent the death of Devaki’s ninth child.

Prevent Black hole from becoming a huge risk.

Rewards Calculated:

+1000 Karma Points

Mysterious Template ???

+2000 Karma Points (Black Hole Containment quest reward)

Template Probability Boost

Black Hole Ability Acquired

Warning:

Each use carries consequences.]

Total Karma points balance surged.

[Total Karma Points: 13,465.]

With that the system started to do fail safety measures to make sure there is no danger to its host life.

Silence.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Because the one who needed to hear the system notification—Could not.

Devara remained unconscious by the earlier event had drained him.

Unaware—That the battle had changed.

Before—He needed to win the battle against Kamsa.

But Now—He needed to kill Kamsa to make sure to complete his task.

Not for revenge. Not for pride.

But because the balance—Had already been disturbed once.

And if Kamsa remained—It would happen again. He would go to any length to make sure he is the last one standing if the world is getting destroyed.

The Pushpaka hovered—Carrying a warrior who had saved the world—But might not survive—What he had saved it from.

Inside the silence of his mind—Something ancient stirred.

Not a whisper. Not a memory.

A presence.

The system completed its draw.

Which it need to do to save its host life.

The probability had bent in his favor using the reward he just obtained—And what answered...

Was not gentle.

It was fury given form.

[-DUM!-DUM!-]

[Template obtained: Lord Narasimha

A template born from wrath—From the moment when preservation itself chose violence.]

A fragment of that power—Now took root.

[Integration: 10%..]

Not full. Not stable. But enough to currently save its host from losing his life.

A note lingered given to Devara about the version of Lord Narasimha he had received—Cold. Unsettling.

[Description:

This form once refused to calm...

And was brought to heel by Lord Sharabha of Lord Shiva.]

Another line—Hidden at the end of the description.

[???...]

And then—Activation was the template began by the system as its host was currently unconcious.

Outside of his mind—On the Pushpaka Vimana1—Devara’s body reacted by the sudden changes which was heppening.

It lifted from the floor of the Pushpaka Vimana.

Slowly like gravity was loosing its grip on him.

While he seems to be experiencing a miracle which would happen to someone who is lucky enough to experience it.

His body which was trembling did not stop—But changed the way it trembled.

From instability of not able to contain the foreign energy of the black hole in Devara’s body—To pressure of gaining the power which was sooting all his injuries.

His body grew a little—Not massively but little bulkier than before—But enough.

Denser. Stronger. As if a beast inside him was slowly getting released from its shackles.

The violent veins all over his body which might at any moment get busted open stopped—Still visible—But no longer chaotic as before harming his body.

Contained. Barely since he was still in the Midset of transforming.

His black hair—Shifted changing along with his body. Gold bled into it.

Wild. Unrestrained vibe could be felt from it.

A mane began to form—Spreading across his shoulders.

His breath deepened—Heavier. More... primal. As his heart beat could be heard all over the sky.

-Lub-Dub! -Lub-Dub! -Lub-Dub!

-Lub-Dub!...

His face structure began to—Change. Not instantly.

But Gradually. Bone structure shifting.

Jaw extending as if he was a clay not a man who had a vajra bone in his body.

Teeth sharpening as if he was the hunter.

A lion—Emerging from within a man.

On his forehead—A red mark appeared.

A U-shaped red tilak—Burning softly.

And beneath it—The third eye remained. Closed since its job as already finished.

Waiting for its time to come in the future.

The transformation continued to proceed—Even though—He was still unconscious.

Because this was not will. This was instinct.

The system had not just granted power—It had awakened something—That did not ask permission to get raged.

Far away from the Bhulokh1—

In Suryaloka1—

Yami felt it the change happening in Devara’s body.

Not pain this time. Something else.

Heat of rage. Wild. Uncontained furry.

Alive.

Her tears paused—Replaced by fear of a different kind. As the three goddesses two mothers and one daughter looked at the Maya1 screen before them.

Where his body was changing.

Because the man she loved—Was still there uncouncious.

But something else—Was rising alongside him which seems to be holding rage which might burned down the several lokahs if not contined.

Bhulok...1

Back in the sky where the Pushpaka Viamana was flying—Devara floated still inside the vimana.

Half-man. Half-lion.

Between unconsciousness—And awakening.

Between control—And rage. And if he woke like this—The battlefield below—Would not be ready to witness his fury.

Because this was not just power.

This was judgment without restraint of rage might fall on them.
