I was thinking about adding local deities too to the story. Any thought about This idea.
-------------------------------------------------
The storm above Trivenivrata continued raging wildly.
Lightning cracked endlessly across the heavens.
Rain drenched the sacred temple grounds.
And still—Devara continued the Tandava.
His voice echoed powerfully through the sacred night as the Shiva Tandava Stotram continued flowing from him like living fire.
Then suddenly—The impossible happened once more.
Standing beside him within the divine radiance, Lord Shiva moved.
And beside him—Goddess Parvati smiled softly before joining as well.
The divine couple entered the Tandava.
A collective gasp spread through the spiritually aware sages instantly.
Because now—The cosmic dance itself had begun.
The synchronization was flawless.
Terrifyingly flawless.
Devara’s movements aligned naturally with Lord Shiva’s cosmic rhythm while Goddess Parvati’s grace flowed between them like balance itself.
Fury. Compassion. Destruction. Creation.
Masculine force. Divine softness.
The three danced together beneath the storming heavens.
For the mortals unable to see clearly through the overwhelming jyothi1—Only shadows became visible within the divine brilliance.
But even those shadows were enough.
Because now everyone could unmistakably see it.
Three forms.
One bearing the unmistakable outline of Lord Shiva himself.
Another carrying the graceful silhouette of Goddess Parvati.
And between them—Devara.
The realization shattered whatever doubts remained among the devotees.
The temple grounds erupted.
"HARA HARA MAHADEV!"1
"OM NAMAH SHIVAYA!"1
Many devotees cried openly now.
Others prostrated fully onto the soaked stone floors.
Even hardened sages trembled watching the shadows of the divine dance reflected through the radiant storm.
Above them all—The heavens themselves celebrated.
Gods.
Gandharvas.
Apsaras.
Celestial beings.
All began showering flower petals endlessly across the sacred grounds.
The rain mixed with divine blossoms until the very air looked transformed into sacred offering.
And through it all—The Tandava continued.
Not for moments. Not briefly.
But throughout the entire sacred night.
The drums never stopped. The chants never stopped.
The dance never broke.
Mortals and celestials alike remained utterly captivated watching the impossible unfold before them.
A father. A mother. And their son.
Performing the cosmic Tandava together beneath the night of Maha Shivaratri.
Slowly...
As dawn approached—The rhythm softened.
The drums slowed gradually.
The storm weakened.
The first golden rays of sunrise began appearing beyond the horizon.
And finally—The three figures came to stillness.
The sacred grounds fell silent once more.
"...."
"...."
"...."
The trance slowly faded from Devara’s mind.
His breathing remained heavy from the endless dance as he finally looked fully toward the divine couple standing before him.
Toward his father. Toward his mother.
Emotion flickered visibly across his face.
Instinctively, he moved to kneel before them—But Lord Shiva immediately stopped him.
Goddess Parvati gently held his shoulder before he could lower himself fully.
Both looked at him with warmth impossible to describe.
Because they understood.
Even now—Devara still tried to stand before them as merely a devotee.
As though he were not their own son.
Lord Shiva laughed softly.
A sound that seemed to echo through existence itself.
Then both Shiva and Parvati embraced him tightly.
The sight alone made several sages completely break into tears.
Meanwhile Devara closed his eyes briefly within their embrace.
For a few moments—The future king.
The warrior. The divine child.
Simply stood there as a son held by his parents.
Parvati gently touched his forehead afterward.
"You have honored us tonight,"
She said softly.
Shiva’s gaze then moved toward the massive temple surrounding them.
"This temple," he declared, his voice resonating across both mortal and celestial realms alike—
"...shall henceforth be known as—Trinetra Tandaveshwara Temple"
"The temple of the sacred Tandava shared by father, mother, and son."
The moment the name was spoken—The entire temple complex glowed briefly with divine radiance.
Then Lord Shiva raised his hand in blessing.
"All who come here with sincere hearts ...shall find peace."
Goddess Parvati’s blessing followed gently like flowing moonlight.
"And those whose marriages face hardship ...shall find harmony, understanding, and union beneath our blessings."
The devotees listening cried louder hearing the divine promise.
Because this temple had now become something far greater than sacred architecture.
It had become directly blessed by Shiva and Parvati themselves.
And standing beneath the first light of dawn—Flower petals still falling softly around him—
Devara quietly realized that his peaceful Maha Shivaratri had escalated far beyond anything he originally imagined.
As the first rays of dawn spread across the sacred skies of Trivenivrata, the divine presence surrounding the temple grounds slowly began fading.
Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati looked toward Devara one final time.
Their eyes carried warmth. Pride. Blessing.
Then gradually, their forms dissolved back into radiant jyothi1 before ascending into the heavens.
The storm clouds parted completely afterward.
Golden sunlight finally touched the rain-soaked temple grounds.
Inside Devara’s mind meanwhile—A familiar notification quietly appeared.
The task completion. The rewards. The gained Karma Points.
The divine blessing attached to the event.
[-DUM!-DUM!-]
[Objective:
Perform a Maha Shivaratri Tandava before the sacred Shiva temple of Trivenivrata.
The dance must embody devotion, destruction, balance, fury, stillness, and surrender.
Status: Completed]
[Rewards]
[• Blessings of the gathered sages and Shiva devotees toward Trivenivrata
• Kingdom Status Effect: Land Favored by Shiva’s Devotees
• +2000 Karma Points
• Special Divine Event Trigger: Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati performing the tandava along with their son]
[Karma points: 18155 Karma points.]
But standing amidst thousands of devotees still overwhelmed by what had happened—Devara mentally pushed the notification aside for now.
This was not the moment.
Across the heavens, the gathered celestials too slowly began departing.
Gods returned to their realms.
Gandharvas vanished with lingering music still echoing faintly behind them.
Apsaras disappeared one by one through shimmering celestial pathways.
Yet before leaving, several apsaras exchanged meaningful glances among themselves while looking toward Devara.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Some were curious. Some were impressed. Some were very interested.
Future problems quietly took flight toward the heavens.
Nearby, Goddess Ganga and Goddess Bhudevi watched their son one final moment before disappearing as well, both carrying unmistakable pride in their eyes.
The temple grounds slowly returned to mortal reality.
Though "normal" no longer truly existed there anymore.
The sages present looked toward Devara with expressions ranging from devotion to disbelief.
Some openly folded their hands toward him.
Some remained speechless.
Some had tears in their eyes.
And a few—Very few—Felt something slightly bitter hidden deep inside their hearts.
Not hatred. Not true resentment.
But jealousy which they couldn’t stop feeling after what had happened today.
Because something they themselves had pursued through decades of penance, devotion, and spiritual discipline—
Had been achieved by the young king of Trivenivrata before their very eyes.
A mortal who made Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati descend personally.
A mortal who danced Tandava alongside them.
Even now many still struggled to fully believe what they had witnessed throughout the night.
Meanwhile, at the center of the sacred grounds,
Devara finally seemed to fully return from trance.
His breathing slowed gradually.
Rainwater and sacred ash still covered his body.
Flower petals surrounded the stone platform endlessly.
Then slowly—The head priest approached him.
The old priest’s hands trembled visibly.
Tears continuously rolled down his face even now.
Without speaking immediately,
The priest first turned toward the massive Shiva Lingam and resumed the sacred puja with overflowing devotion.
Every mantra carried emotion.
Every offering carried gratitude.
The entire temple remained silent while watching him.
Finally, after completing the ritual, the priest carefully lifted the sacred prasadam1 prepared for Devara after the Tandava.
He approached slowly. Almost reverently.
As though approaching something sacred himself.
Devara immediately straightened respectfully.
The priest offered the prasadam1 with shaking hands.
And without hesitation—Devara accepted it using both hands respectfully.
No arrogance. No royal pride. Could be seen on him
Only devotion to the gods he had performed the tandava for.
Then he lowered his head toward the prasadam1 briefly in reverence before finally taking the first bite.
The gathered devotees watching that simple act felt their emotions deepen even further.
Because after everything impossible that had happened tonight—The young king still behaved first as a devotee before Shiva.
And somehow—That moved them more than the miracles themselves.
After receiving and eating the sacred prasadam, Devara remained silent for a few moments before the massive Shiva Lingam of Trinetra Tandaveshwara Temple.
The sacred grounds still smelled of rain, incense, flowers, and burnt camphor.
The first sunlight of dawn slowly illuminated the soaked temple stones where the divine Tandava had unfolded through the entire night.
Then slowly—Devara turned and began walking out from the sacred center.
The moment he moved—The silence shattered.
The gathered devotees erupted into cheers.
"HARA HARA MAHADEV!"1
"DEVARATHA KI JAI!"1
"TRIVENIVRATA KI JAI!"1
Thousands upon thousands raised their voices at once.
The sound thundered across the temple complex and surrounding city like a tidal wave.
Flower petals rained endlessly over Devara’s path as he walked.
Many devotees folded their hands deeply toward him.
Some sages openly bowed their heads in respect.
Others approached just enough to bless him verbally before stepping aside again.
One elderly sage with tears still in his eyes spoke loudly enough for nearby crowds to hear.
"What happened tonight ...will be remembered in history for ages."
Another added emotionally:
"We witnessed Mahadev himself descend."
"We witnessed the Tandava of the divine."
Several devotees began crying again simply hearing those words repeated aloud.
Because now the reality of the night was settling fully into everyone’s hearts.
This was no longer merely a festival memory.
It was history. Sacred history.
As Devara finally moved beyond the central temple area, the royal family approached him quickly.
Rajmata Satyavati looked at him with eyes filled entirely with pride and disbelief.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Ambika and Ambalika still looked emotionally overwhelmed.
Even Prince Shakuni, for once, seemed too stunned to immediately produce commentary.
Though judging by his face—His mind was definitely preparing several dramatic retellings already.
Meanwhile Bhishma stood silently observing Devara.
The old warrior’s eyes carried rare softness now.
Not merely pride. Recognition.
Because Bhishma understood clearly:
The kingdom had changed tonight.
Permanently in status among other kingdom.
And at the center of it all—Before anyone else could speak—Gandhari hurried forward.
Without hesitation she hugged Devara tightly.
The crowd watching instantly quieted slightly in surprise.
Because their usually composed queen looked openly emotional now.
"You danced so beautifully..."
She said excitedly, almost breathlessly.
Her words came quickly, unable to fully contain her emotions.
"And then those lights... And Lord Shiva... And Goddess Parvati... And they danced with you..."
She looked up at him still visibly overwhelmed.
"I still cannot believe what happened."
The sincerity in her voice touched many nearby.
Because unlike the sages discussing spiritual implications or devotees worshipping the miracle—
Gandhari simply sounded like someone overwhelmed with pride for her husband.
Devara meanwhile let out a soft tired chuckle.
-Chuckle!
Only now did the exhaustion from dancing through the entire sacred night finally begin catching up to him.
Still—As he looked around at the cheering people, crying devotees, emotional sages, and the temple blessed personally by Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati—
Even he understood something clearly.
After tonight—Trivenivrata would never again be viewed as merely a newly established kingdom.
It had become sacred ground.
