Kate gave Donald a faint glance.

She had the feeling that although this blond-haired, blue-eyed fellow appeared extremely friendly on the surface, he was definitely scheming something rotten beneath that pleasant exterior.

"As long as something on this island is for sale, I can give it to you as a gift. Consider it a present to commemorate our first meeting."

Kate froze slightly. Then, a look of pleasant surprise appeared on her face.

"Are you serious? In that case, I’ve decided—you’re definitely my friend now."

Upon hearing that Kate had accepted his offer, the smile on Donald’s face grew even more radiant.

Kate, however, had absolutely no intention of being polite with him. She immediately pointed at the conference hall not far away and said,

"I think that conference hall looks very impressive. Are you willing to give it to me?"

Donald was momentarily stunned, and a strange expression appeared on his face.

Wait a minute. Was Miss Kate really just an innocent Mirror Image?

Under normal circumstances, weren’t girls supposed to like shiny jewelry and things like that?

Why would Kate be interested in an entire conference hall?

No. Something was definitely wrong here!

Donald hurriedly waved his hands and replied,

"My dear Miss Kate, I am afraid that would be rather difficult. That building is private property belonging to the Alliance of All Races, and it is not available for sale."

Donald might have been extremely wealthy, but even he could not possibly pull off something like that.

Hearing his answer, Kate revealed a faint look of disappointment.

"If the conference hall won’t work, then that shiny building over there shouldn’t be a problem, right?"

Kate gently raised her finger and pointed toward the distant headquarters building of the Alliance of All Races.

When Donald saw this, his entire body went numb.

Was she really not messing with him on purpose?

Donald felt his blood pressure rising. Inside his heart, he repeated countless times that Kate was merely a simple and innocent little girl.

After a brief silence, Donald forced a helpless smile onto his face.

"I am terribly sorry, but that headquarters building is not for sale either."

"Then... what about the airport in the distance? I think those big airplanes look so cool!"

At some point, fine beads of sweat had already appeared on Donald’s forehead.

"Miss Kate, that airport is also an asset of the Alliance of All Races, so it is not for sale. If you like it, I could build an airport for you in New York State. What do you think—"

Before Donald could finish speaking, Kate immediately pouted and cut him off.

"I just think this airport looks nice. If you can’t do it, then forget it. This is the only one I want."

"You promised to give me a gift for our first meeting. Is this really your attitude?"

Putting everything else aside, the elf race was certainly impressive.

As expected of the most powerful race in this world. Although they had declined from their former glory, they still possessed plenty of remarkable things.

Thanks to Donald and the others’ efforts to please her, Kate ended up getting along with them exceptionally well.

Just then, Donald seized the opportunity to speak.

"Miss Kate, we have also prepared a special gift for you. Please take a look and see whether it pleases you."

As he spoke, Donald took out a card and handed it to Kate.
