Mr. Tycoon's Beloved Wife: The Madam No One Dares to Offend
Chapter 445: He Was Exercising His Body
When Riya heard the words from these men outside, she blushed.
She secretly turned around and looked at Margaret, "What should I say?"
It seemed like she couldn’t just walk out so simply.
Should she still sit here?
Before Margaret could say anything, the staff of the wedding company had already gathered at the door and started to ask for fees cheekily.
At this time, no one would mind this.
They gave fees just to pick up the woman inside.
Margaret secretly moved to the door, carefully avoiding those people. She picked up a few notes on the ground and quickly ran back.
In front of Riya, Margaret was too embarrassed to count how much it was, but she knew it was a lot of money and smiled.
After all, she could not go back empty-handed.
Riya saw the sneaky Margaret and couldn’t help but say, "Hey, since you take fees, go and open the door."
Margaret curled her lips and put the notes into her handbag. She then rolled her eyes, "I am a pregnant woman. How can you ask a pregnant woman to do the work?"
Riya was speechless. She just asked Margaret to open the door. It should not be something difficult.
Riya pursed her lips and looked at the ground. After all, she still retracted her feet back into the bed. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
She then whispered to Margaret, "I don’t want to open the door so soon."
Moreover, she had a baby in her belly. She was afraid to get hurt in the crowd.
Margaret shook her head.
She then said to the staffs who were still asking for fees, "You guys should stop now. Can’t you see that Miss Marley is anxious? Open the door right now!"
"I didn’t..."
Just as Riya was about to retort in anger, the door to the room was opened and those people outside were pushed in.
Then Stefan walked out from the crowd and came to Riya.
She was dressed in a white tailcoat, which made his usually serious appearance so
gentle and elegant.
Riya immediately stopped talking and sat on the bed. She pursed her lips slightly and lowered her head, grasping the bouquet in her hand tightly. She then whispered, "Why are you so late?"
Seeing this, all the staff members went out quickly.
When Margaret saw this, she felt that she was somewhat like the third wheel in the room, so opened the door as well.
Suddenly she was stunned when he saw the people at the door.
They had blocked the door. She couldn’t get out.
Just as she was about to speak, a man held her wrist and pulled her into his arms, taking her out of the crowd.
In the small garden downstairs, those people watched happily as Riya got in Stefan’s car.
Margaret was about to follow, but was stopped by Julian, "Take my car." After saying that, he glanced at her belly.
Margaret immediately said guiltily, "Don’t worry. I have protected him well when I was in the room."
She didn’t even dare to bend down too hard, afraid that she would hurt the baby in her belly.
Julian glanced at her and did not speak. He wouldn’t have come if he was not worried.
Marriage was a happy thing. Moreover, the Key and Marley families had invited so many people and held such a grand wedding. Julian thought that it was highly possible that Margaret would get into the crowd and get hurt.
How could he not be worried?
Margaret was taken to the parking lot by Julian. The man was tall and straight and could make her feel at ease.
Margaret was like a little hen protected under this man’s wings. She shrunk her neck and looked at the man in front of her timidly.
Looking at his stiff and expressionless face, she could not help but ask, "Are you angry?"
Margaret just didn’t know why this man gets angry so easily? She guessed that maybe this man also had the period like women.
Julian seemed to know what she was thinking. He suddenly lowered his head and stared at her.
Margaret immediately panicked. She quickly shrunk her head and whispered, "I
already said that I will protect myself. Why are you still angry at me? If something unexpected really happened, I could get pregnant with another baby."
She thought that Julian paid so much unnecessary attention to her just because she was pregnant with the heir of the Jorgansen family.
She just wanted to call out that pregnant women also have freedom!
Sitting in Julian’s car, Margaret was feeling injustice for herself. The man next to her suddenly leaned over.
His breath landed on her face. At such a close distance, Margaret suddenly came back to her senses and subconsciously leaned back.
She glanced at him and said, "What are you doing?"
His sudden approach made her so nervous.
Julian just showed a faint smile.
He stared at the flustered woman in front of him. He then said in a deep voice, "As you said, you will get pregnant with another child."
"What?"
Margaret was stunned.
She said it so casually that she even forgot when she had said such words.
She didn’t take such casual words seriously.
Julian still smiled and looked at her, "If you go back on your word, you have to give me two children."
"What? I didn’t go back on my word."
Margaret quickly made it clear. She could not let this man have anything on her.
Margaret pursed her lips and said, "Isn’t it just an inheritor? There’s one in my belly and will soon be born in a few months."
After saying that, she rolled his eyes at Julian with a smug face.
As the girl from the rich Anderson family, she wasn’t afraid of anyone.
Julian smiled and nodded, "Alright."
With that, he leaned over, pulled over the seatbelt beside her, and fastened it.
In any case, he had already remembered everything she had said. If she dared to not admit it, he would not mind collecting the interests from her first.
Margaret was stunned. Before she could recover from shock, the car had already started and headed straight for the church.
This wedding was different from Margaret’s grand and precious wedding ceremony.
The Key family’s wedding was even on a much larger scale, and the wedding venue took up half of the mountain. At the foot of the mountain was the seaside villa.
At the beginning of the wedding, the faint sound of ocean waves could be heard.
The romantic wedding scene was filled with flowers, and the air was so refreshing.
By the time Margaret and Julian arrived, the wedding was already beginning.
Margaret stood outside the church door and listened to the music bell that was slowly ringing. She came so late that she only heard Riya saying, "Yes, I do."
The instant Riya and Stefan exchanged rings, thunderous applause came from the audience.
The newlyweds, with the blessings of everyone present, stood in the center of the dazzling church.
The strings of bluebell flowers above danced gently in the wind like wind chimes as they watched the newlyweds underneath kissing each other.
Margaret smiled with a little jealousy as she crossed her arms and said, "Was my wedding ceremony also very romantic?"
Such a beautiful moment made her intoxicated. She thought that it was very good to hold a wedding ceremony. Even if she was going to hold the wedding one hundred times, she wouldn’t get tired of it.
The man next to him slightly nodded and smiled. "It’s different."
Margaret turned to look at him, frowning slightly, "Do you think that my marriage is not as grand as hers?"
How could she lose to Riya in this respect?
Julian said, "No, my woman is prettier than her."
Margaret was stunned for a while.
She found that Julian was really swift with repartee! She liked it so much!
...
There was actually no media at Riya’s wedding.
Margaret felt a little strange. She looked at Julian beside her and asked, "Why is there no media at her wedding?"
Julian drove the car seriously. When he heard Margaret’s words, he just said lightly, "She probably didn’t invite them."
"But I did not invite the media as well on my wedding day. Why were there so many media workers when we got married?"
Margaret frowned slightly. All she was thinking of was why the Andersons did not invite the media.
She remembered she had said that she would not invite the media. To put it bluntly, if possible, she wanted to get married secretly and to tell nobody.
At that time, Bruce had promised her. As a result, however, the media workers present almost filled the whole hall.
Thinking about it...she felt that something was wrong.
Julian paused for a moment before slowly saying, "I invited them."
"You invited them!"
Margaret almost jumped up from her seat. Fortunately, she had a seatbelt.
Even so, she could not calm herself down.
She then asked, "Why did you invite the media? What...did you want to do?"
She had always thought that something was wrong. Even though the Anderson family had great influence and was well-known, the news about her marriage shouldn’t be on the top of trending topics for a whole month.
She felt that it was impossible for anyone to make his or her wedding so ostentatious unnecessarily.
"I just want the masses to feel my joy."
Julian answered said calmly.
There were no emotions in his deep eyes. He looked especially calm.
Margaret finally knew why she always felt that something was wrong with this matter.
Margaret pouted as she looked at Julian who was driving.
She said coldly, "Where did the joy come from?"
Hadn’t he ever seen any wedding ceremonies?
Or hadn’t he ever seen women?
A man who shared the same status as Julian surely would have many women around.
There was no need for him to make such a big fuss about such a thing.
Julian suddenly turned his head and looked at Margaret with a particularly serious gaze.
Margaret felt a little uncomfortable being stared at by him and wanted to say something.
She heard the man beside her suddenly say, "I surely had to tell as many people as possible since I married such a beautiful woman."
"I just invited a few media reporters. It was worth it!"
Julian’s voice was light.
It wasn’t very gentle and pleasant, but it inadvertently touched Margaret.
She blushed slightly and moved her body with a little embarrassment in her seat.
She then looked over and asked in a low voice, "Do you really think I’m pretty?"
She had known this man for so long but had never heard him say such words.
As soon as he said that, she felt awkward.
Could it be that he was trying to make her happy? Was he afraid that she would pursue the matter of the media, so he was trying to coax her?
Margaret muttered uneasily in her heart. She just looked this man up and down.
If it wasn’t for Julian driving the car, he would be a little overwhelmed by her look.
"Of course you are beautiful. Don’t you believe in yourself?"
Julian’s voice echoed throughout the car.
The voice wasn’t loud, but it was enough for Margaret to hear it clearly.
She then curled her lips in dissatisfaction and said, "Of course I think I look so good, but it’s impossible that everyone has the same taste in beauty. Some beautiful women are not favored by men."
Since everyone has different opinions, how could I be sure if I’m charming in your eyes?"
Margaret pouted and retorted softly.
It was just that the carriage was too quiet, so her words were clearly heard by Julian.
Julian then turned to look at her with a smile and suddenly reached out a hand. It landed on the top of Margaret’s head and gently stroked her hair.
"Fool, why would I invite so many media reporters when I married you if I didn’t think that you are beautiful? I just wanted them to know how outstanding and attractive my woman is!"
Margaret subconsciously clasped her hands together.
Her lowered eyelashes trembled slightly, with a faint smile.
She couldn’t help but blush.
It was obviously so cold outside. She didn’t know if it was because the air conditioner was turned on that made her face so hot that she almost couldn’t breathe.
She then awkwardly moved her body. After a moment of silence, she whispered, "I, I feel that the air conditioner is a little strong."
She would never say that she was embarrassed.
With her hands holding both corners of her clothes, Margaret looked out of the window at the scenery.
Maybe it was because the Marley family had decorated the entire Far City. Tonight, the streets of Far City had many more colored lights and liveliness.
The originally quiet street also became different because of these colored lights.
It was Riya who was going to get married, but Margaret felt happy too.
Although she once had a little dissatisfaction with Julian, she had already accepted the reality and fell for this man.
She had already married him, so she naturally had to think more about him and be a good wife.
As a couple, they had to be tolerant of each other.
So she didn’t care about what he had done to her before.
"After all, I am such a sensible and understanding magnanimous woman!" Margaret thought and laughed happily in her heart.
The gorgeous red color also covered the entire house.
The joy of the decoration revealed the master’s carefulness and seriousness.
As soon as the two newlyweds returned home, all the servants left.
On this beautiful and sweet night, these people seemed a little superfluous.
The big bed in the room was full of red rose petals in the heart shape.
The ground was covered with a layer of petals as well.
When their feet stepped on the flower, a slight chill overflowed from their feet.
That kind of slight coolness would soon be dispelled by the temperature on their bodies.
The air was filled with the scent of flowers.
It was a bit romantic. At a glance, people would blush and feel their hearts beat faster.
Riya took a shower and came out of the bathroom. The room was quiet and the man who should have been waiting in the room disappeared.
She frowned, and then she held the bathrobe she was wearing tightly.
It was not like she had not been seen naked by this man before, but why was she still so nervous?
She sighed and told herself in her heart that she was not nervous and she was not afraid.
It was just a marriage, which meant that they would sleep in the same bed every day.
It used to be occasional, but from now on it was long-term.
The difference was just the frequency, and she didn’t care at all.
She didn’t want to make trouble of out anything on the wedding night. She should be elegant and tender this night.
She was married!
Heaving a sigh of relief, Riya walked towards the door.
The man was not in the room, so she guessed that he must be outside.
The entire villa seemed exceptionally quiet. In the corner at the end of the corridor, the door was half-opened, and the bright light was revealed.
Because the room was hidden inside, Riya had never seen it before.
She carefully walked over and heard the man’s deep breath.
Riya approached, and through the crack in the door, she saw that the man inside was actually...doing push-ups!
