Mr. Tycoon's Beloved Wife: The Madam No One Dares to Offend
Chapter 449: He Got a Good Wife
Breakfast time.
Orlenna raised her head and saw Margaret coming down from upstairs, who was slovenly dressed with her hair in a mess.
Margaret had just reached out her hand when Orlenna slapped it hard.
"Did you sleep on the bed or in the grassland last night? Why is your hair so shaggy?"
Orlenna glared at her coldly, her face full of dissatisfaction.
Her daughter was just a newly-married young woman, and why did she actually look like a tramp?
Margaret touched her hand in pain, glanced at Orlenna, and sat on the chair unhappily.
"Mom, I’m now at home, and no outsiders can see me. You don’t have to be so strict."
As soon as Margaret finished speaking, she saw that Orlenna wasn’t paying attention to her and immediately took a panna cotta to taste.
So nice!
Orlenna frowned, "Have you washed your hands?"
Margaret was displeased and stretched out her hands and face, "Of course I washed both my hands and face. If you don’t believe it, you take a magnifier and watch my skincare."
Orlenna glanced at her, "No need. It is just so disgusting."
Only then did Margaret eat panna cottas in front of her in satisfaction.
Orlenna brought her a glass of milk and said, "Eat slowly. You don’t look like a noble lady at all."
Margaret snorted, "The noble ladies are behaving well for outsiders to see. Now that I am in my own home with my mother, I should act in the way I feel comfortable. If you always have so many unnecessary requirements, how could my sister-in-law be willing to live with you?"
Margaret thought that a woman was destined to be unable to get along well with her mother-in-law, and they certainly should live separately.
Orlenna glanced at her unhappily and said, "You are asking for a spanking, aren’t you?"
"I have a baby now. If you are not afraid of hurting your grandchild in my belly, you can beat me right now."
After that, Margaret really stretched her head towards Orlenna.
Orlenna took a deep breath. She realized that it was really becoming harder and harder to discipline her daughter.
Seeing that Orlenna didn’t dare to make a move, Margaret finally continued eating breakfast happily.
It was so good to be pregnant.
It was much better to be a pregnant woman who could do whatever she wanted and wouldn’t be preached at.
If she had known that getting pregnant could make her so arrogant that even Orlenna couldn’t do anything to her, she should have gotten married and had a child earlier.
"The milk is leaking from your mouth."
Orlenna saw that the way Margaret ate food was really so bad. She directly took a tissue and stuffed it into her hand.
The more she looked at her daughter, the more anger there would be in her heart.
But Margaret did not care about it at all. In any case, Orlenna could not do anything to her.
"Mom, I want to eat beef broth at noon."
"No beef!"
"Then I can eat at night."
"No way!"
Orlenna sat on the sofa in the living room, looked at her phone, and answered casually without raising her head.
She missed her grandsons again, and she had to see some photos to comfort herself.
Margaret snorted and placed the empty glass on the table, "I don’t have any of my favorite food. I am not happy."
Orlenna didn’t care at all, "If you are unhappy, go and ask your husband for help. You shouldn’t ignore him and always bother me. Do I look like your maid?"
Margaret immediately stood up from her chair and said righteously, "Of course not."
Seeing Orlenna’s gratified expression, she chuckled, "Who would employ such an old servant at your age?"
Many accidents and diseases would happen to the elderly at any time.
If someone really hired an old lady to be the maid, it was really hard to say who the one to be taken care of was.
Orlenna turned to look at her, "Margaret, do you really think that I didn’t dare to beat you?"
Orlenna was so angry because her daughter actually talked to her in this way. She had to teach her a lesson today.
Seeing that Orlenna was really annoyed, Margaret quickly smiled and said, "But my mother is so valuable. No one has enough money to hire you.
"Besides, even if someone can afford to employ you, I won’t let you go. Without Bruce, I can raise you too."
Orlenna sneered and said angrily, "I think I’d better rely on my son."
She said in her heart that it was good enough if her daughter could take care of herself well.
Margaret rolled her eyes and pouted unhappily, "Mom, you value the male child only."
Orlenna didn’t want to argue with her about such a boring topic. She just nodded, "Yes, I should have thrown you into the White River when I found out that I gave birth to a daughter."
"Mom, I’m really angry now. I don’t like what you say."
Margaret complained, and Orlenna turned to look at her, "Quickly go and comb your hair! Don’t think that just because you have a man, you can do you do whatever you want at will. Although Julian loves you now if you’re always so slovenly, do you really think that he can tolerate you forever?"
Orlenna then waved her hand and said, "Don’t waste my time. Go to change your clothes and come down. I have to cook in the afternoon."
Margaret sensed that something was wrong and asked, "Mom, are we going out since you asked me to change clothes?"
Orlenna glanced at her, "You’ve been already pregnant for four months. There are some things that you have to prepare in advance, aren’t there? Are you still thinking of buying milk bottles for your child later when you have a big belly?"
In fact, these things could be prepared by others or could be bought online and sent home.
But Margaret and Orlenna both liked to go shopping. Hearing this, Margaret immediately became happy.
She asked, "Mom, do you mean that you will go with me to buy things for the baby?"
Orlenna frowned and looked at her daughter, not knowing why she had so many questions.
"So, can you buy it yourself?"
Margaret pouted, "Of course I know how to spend money, but I’m just afraid that I can’t choose the good ones."
’Since you don’t know how to choose by yourself, why are you still wasting time here?’ Orlenna complained in her heart.
Margaret immediately understood, "I’ll be OK soon."
Knowing her mother’s thoughts, Margaret was no longer dawdling and ran upstairs immediately.
After a while, Margaret came downstairs.
The protruding belly made the clothes on her body a little tight.
Margaret stood in front of Orlenna and frowned, "Mom, am I fat?"
’Well, at least you realize that you are fat.’ Orlenna thought.
Orlenna took a feather coat and gave it to her. She said lightly, "It’s okay. We can buy a few loose pregnant women clothes later."
"Will that make me look ugly?"
Margaret, who still had a love of beauty, had a bit of hesitation on her face.
She still wanted to be a beautiful young woman.
Orlenna didn’t want to waste her time with her, "Since you look so good, what clothes can make you ugly?"
