Mr. Tycoon's Beloved Wife: The Madam No One Dares to Offend
Chapter 473: Riya Wanted to Have a Daughter
Time passed by. It was spring again.
The entire city got warmer and greener.
Hilla was surprised to hear that Brittany had transferred all her shares to Julian.
But Orlenna looked calm when she heard this.
It seemed that she was not surprised by Brittany’s decision.
"Mom, have you known it long ago?"
Orlenna nodded.
"Does she have any other choice besides giving them to Julian? No one can compete with Julian now."
Orlenna was very satisfied with Julian, her son-in-law.
When Julian told her that he wanted to marry Margaret, she was unwilling.
A successor who was forcefully pushed up by the Jorgansens, whether he was capable or not, was not qualified to marry her daughter.
She could not allow her daughter to be exploited by others.
She didn’t agree to this marriage at the beginning.
Although Julian had once helped the Anderson family, she would not allow Margaret to marry him.
However, Julian’s words made her feel a little hesitant.
Hilla said with a smile, "Mom, you made the right decision. Julian said that he wanted Margaret to be the most respected woman in the Jorgansen family. You didn’t believe it at that time."
Hilla felt happy for Margaret.
Julian had kept his promise.
"Does Margaret say anything else?"
Orlenna said, "She says that she wants to come back. But Judy is so little. What if she gets sick? I ask her to stay at Far City and not make trouble."
Orlenna was lying. Actually, she often missed Margaret and looked at her photos on the phone.
Hilla knew it but didn’t speak out.
The days passed quickly. They were busy taking care of children.
At the entrance of a Primary School in River City, Emily, in a light purple dress,
walked out of the school in a crowd of children, carrying a bag with the picture of Elsa.
Hilla waved her hand and Emily was about to run to her.
"Emily!"
Someone shouted from behind. Emily turned around and looked at Mary Gardner, her deskmate, who was walking towards her.
Mary was dressed in a white dress. She looked at Emily and said, "Stay away from my brother! If I see you playing with him again, I’ll scratch your face."
Emily frowned and said unhappily, "You should tell him. It was him who wanted to play with me."
"Don’t talk with him!"
Emily hated Mary very much, but the teacher always arranged for them to be desk mates.
"Emily."
Seeing that Emily had not come over, Hilla shouted.
She wondered whether the little girl in the white dress wanted to fight with Emily.
Emily glanced at Hilla and turned to Mary. "My aunt is here. She used to be the martial arts champion of River City. Several adult men can’t beat her. If you don’t leave, she will come later."
Mary was frightened as soon as she heard this.
She had heard that Mrs. Anderson, Emily’s aunt, was powerful and the Anderson family was also the richest family in River City.
"If I see you talking to him again, you’re toast."
Then Mary turned around and ran towards her car.
Seeing Emily coming over, Hilla asked with a smile, "Your classmate?"
Emily had the same personality as Halle. In front of others, she had always been gentle, obedient and sensible.
Hilla worried that Emily would be bullied.
She wanted to teach Emily how to fight with others, but Emily didn’t want to learn it.
Emily looked at her and said with a smile, "She’s my desk mate, Mary Gardener. She treats me very well."
Hilla sighed with relief. When she saw the fierce expression on Mary’s face, she thought that Marry was bullying Emily.
"OK! Let’s go home. Halle will arrive at the airport at night. And Horton has to be on duty tonight. I’m afraid you have to take care of Casey by yourself."
Now Emily was in the third grade of primary school and Casey was in kindergarten.
Halle had been busier and often went abroad for business. Therefore, Hilla often came to pick up Emily and Casey.
Emily nodded. "OK, I can do it."
Hilla nodded with a smile. Fortunately, servants were accompanying them at home.
"Hilla, how are my cousins?"
Last year, Hilla gave birth to a pair of twin daughters.
Now she had both sons and daughters.
Hilla and Orlenna became even busier because of four children. Hilla could spare less time to take care of Emily and Casey.
"They’re fine. Don’t worry. I’ll send you home first. Then I will go back to take care of them."
Hilla suddenly realized that Emily had grown up.
Emily was so cute and gentle.
She was also polite and precocious.
Emily seemed to have understood many things. She always behaved well and made others want to protect and love her.
Hilla sent Emily home and accompanied her until the evening. Then she rushed back home.
She sighed with relief when she received a call from Halle on the way back. As soon as she arrived home, four kids pounced over her.
Orlenna said with tiredness, "Fortunately, I don’t work in a kindergarten. These four kids have made me exhausted."
Hilla felt a little guilty. "Mom, you can have a rest now. I will take care of them."
Her two daughters had just learned how to walk and needed her to look after them.
The two boys only knew how to bully their younger sisters.
They couldn’t get along.
Orlenna nodded and said to the two boys, "Andrew and Herbert, go upstairs. If I see you again today, you have to play the piano for two more hours tomorrow."
Orlenna wanted them to become outstanding and gentle people in the future.
However... one was cold, and another was naughty.
Neither of them was easy to get along with.
The two boys looked at each other and then ran upstairs.
Orlenna thought that they were like two monkeys.
Hilla took her two daughters upstairs. She realized that it was happy but also tiring to have four children.
Tomorrow was her birthday. She wondered if she would receive a gift from Bruce.
...
"It has been a long time since you contacted me last time?"
Riya complained to Hilla as she answered the phone.
Hilla laughed, "It’s my fault. Please forgive me."
Her words made Riya happier.
Riya smiled and asked, "Are you missing me?"
"Of course."
Hilla nodded and said, "I want to invite your family to come to my house."
Riya immediately became alert, "What’s your intention?"
Riya felt that it was strange for Hilla to call her.
Hilla said, "I know that you’re pregnant. I just want to have a meal with you." Hilla said in a serious tone, which made Riya trust her. "You want to have a meal with me?"
Riya frowned.
Although she was pregnant, it didn’t need to invite her to have a meal to celebrate it.
There must be something wrong. Riya was alerted.
She was not a gullible woman.
Hilla said helplessly, "Margaret will come back today. She will arrive soon. We haven’t met for a long time. So I want to invite you to have a meal together."
It sounded reasonable.
Riya nodded. "Okay, will Halle come?"
These years, because of four children, Hilla didn’t have enough time to get along with Riya.
But Halle now had more time since her two children went to school.
Therefore, Halle often helped Hilla and Riya if she didn’t work.
Gradually, Riya and Halle got closer.
However, Riya didn’t want to see Orlenna.
Although Orlenna was not her mother-in-law, Riya had always been afraid of her.
She would never go to the Anderson’s alone, but this time Halle and Margaret would accompany her.
"Okay, but I’ll take my sons together."
Since she married Stefan, she had given birth to two children.
She had been pregnant three times in four years.
Hilla nodded. "Of course."
Children would play together and won’t disturb them, although it would be chaotic. "Alright, I’m coming."
Then Hilla hung up the phone with satisfaction.
Apart from Halle and Bruce, no one else remembered her birthday. Moreover, in previous years, she was so busy and always forgot it.
This year, Hilla had no idea to celebrate it.
But when Bruce mentioned it today, she suddenly thought of having a meal with friends and families.
It was more meaningful.
It was night but the Anderson’s was bright.
It was early autumn in September.
It was cool at night.
The insects in the grass got noisier.
A car drove into the courtyard of the Anderson’s.
There were two street lamps at the entrance of the courtyard. It was very quiet.
A couple got off the car.
Margaret was holding a baby in her arms.
Seeing Hilla coming out, Margaret immediately stuffed the baby into Julian’s arms and ran to Hilla.
"Hilla, I miss you so much."
Margaret acted like a spoiled brat in front of Hilla, although she was taller.
Hilla didn’t feel embarrassed. She had been used to it. She hugged Margaret and said with a smile, "I miss you too."
Julian was holding his son in his arms, standing beside the car. And Judy stood beside him.
They frowned and revealed an awkward expression at the same time.
Suddenly, Missy sighed, "This is Margaret. So heartless. She can forget and even abandon her husband."
There was a deeper frown on Julian’s face.
Although he didn’t want to admit it, the reality was that he had been scolded more frequently.
The degree of Margaret’s dislike for him had exceeded his imagination. "Are you angry?"
Julian looked down. The baby in his arms had been asleep.
He looked at Missy and asked.
Judy shook her head slightly. She raised her head and looked at Julian. She asked seriously, "Do you feel jealous?"
Julian answered earnestly, "No!"
Then the roar of a car came from behind.
Two black limousines drove in the courtyard.
Riya and Halle got out.
Immediately, Hilla and Margaret walked toward them excitedly.
Margaret had just given birth and had to recuperate in Far City for a long time.
She rushed over in excitement when she saw Halle and Riya.
These women huddled together, ignoring their husbands and children.
Their laughter echoed in the yard. Then they walked into the house happily.
Julian and Judy stood there, seeing them laughing and entering the house.
No one noticed them!
They were ignored!
No one invited them into the house!
Julian and Missy looked at each other.
Missy sighed and said, "Do you feel it now?"
Judy nodded, "Yes."
Then he grabbed Missy by the collar and walked into the house.
Missy had been used to it.
Obviously, it was not the first time.
She whispered, "She doesn’t care about you at all. You should stay outside."
"You should wait for her to take you in and admit her mistakes."
"Make her repent, sad, cry, and beg you." Julian lowered his head after hearing her words.
Looking at her calm face, Julian pursed his lips and said, "A heartless woman doesn’t know what a mistake is."
Missy: You are a henpecked man.
...
Thanks to these guests, the house became lively.
It was filled with the laughter of children.
The children ran to the courtyard. Orlenna said angrily, "There are mosquitoes outside. It’s hot outside. Why are you running outside?"
It didn’t matter if boys were bitten.
But Emily and Missy were girls and should avoid being bitten.
However, no one listened to her. What made Orlenna angrier was that her two little granddaughters also wanted to go outside.
They looked outside and wanted to go out.
Orlenna had no choice but to let the servants carry them out.
She warned them, "Spray more mosquito repellent water. Don’t get bitten." Before Orlenna finished her words, the two girls had run out to play with others.
"Mom, insecticides have been applied to our lawns. Don’t worry. Our servants will take good care of them."
Hilla’s words didn’t make Orlenna reassured.
However, Orlenna got more worried. "It was hot outside. Those brats only know playing and having fun. What if they get heatstroke? Why not play in the house."
She complained about them. But she also asked servants to prepare some cola for children.
Finally, she sighed with worry and said, "I must have a look at them."
Hilla wanted to persuade her but didn’t make it.
Orlenna loved and cared about the children so much.
Seeing Orlenna going outside, Riya sighed with relief and asked, "Orlenna can’t live without children?"
Hearing this, Margaret quickly turned her head.
She looked at Riya and said disapprovingly, "She only loves Henry, Andrew, Annabelle and Fiona."
Margaret was jealous. Hilla turned around and smiled at her. "Missy is also outside. Mom loves her very much. Are you jealous?"
Riya nodded and said, "She is so jealous. Margaret, does Julian know that you love your mom so much?"
They talked happily and suddenly looked at Julian, who was holding a baby in his arms and talking seriously with other men.
Julian seemed to have noticed it. He turned around and smiled at them. He said, "I have been used to it."
"Mr. Jorgansen looks sad to say these words."
Riya’s laughter made Margaret angry.
Was she teasing her husband?
Really?
Halle took a sip of black tea and couldn’t help laughing. "Julian is not sad at all. He is happy and loves Margaret so much."
"Halle is right."
Margaret leaned happily against Halle and hugged her.
Halle was the best person.
So considerate, beautiful and cute.
Halle was a little embarrassed and muttered, "Someone will be jealous."
Hearing this, Margaret rolled her eyes at Julian and said, "It doesn’t matter."
Halle managed to pull her arm from Margaret’s arms.
She said in embarrassment, "I am afraid that Horton will be jealous."
It was...
"Halle, you abandon me for a bad guy!"
Margaret’s face turned cold. She was very unhappy now.
Horton turned around and looked at Margaret unhappily, "Who is a bad guy?"
Before Margaret spoke, Julian said, "Me!"
Horton took a deep breath and looked at Julian sympathetically.
You must have suffered much!
"I can’t stand public display of affection."
Riya said and looked at Hilla beside her.
Hilla smiled but didn’t speak. Her gaze landed on Margaret’s face.
Margaret and Julian were flirting in front of so many people.
They were so shameless in public!
"I heard that you are pregnant again. How was it?"
Halle broke the silence and looked at Riya.
In the past two years, Riya spent a lot of time in River City and got closer to Halle.
Halle was surprised to hear that Riya was pregnant again. She wished that all went well with Riya.
Riya suddenly became active. She touched her belly and said, "I’m fine. I can eat and sleep well. I feel this baby must be a daughter."
Riya smiled happily.
Hilla, Halle and Margaret all had sons and daughters.
And Hilla even had a pair of twin daughters.
Hilla was so lucky.
But Riya only had two sons. She felt that her house was like a male dormitory.
Halle said with a smile, "Sons and daughters are the same. It is also good to have sons."
Yes, it was good. Her mother-in-law was very happy to have two grandsons.
She was satisfied with two grandsons.
The Key family would become larger.
"They are happy but I am not."
Riya’s said indignantly.
She wanted to have a daughter!
Riya wanted to have a daughter like Judy.
At the thought of this, Riya felt that the family inheritance was so effective.
Her son must make great efforts and marry Judy in the future.
It was a good idea.
"Don’t worry. You will definitely have a daughter."
Hilla teased while controlling her laughter.
Riya was displeased and stared at her. "I must have a daughter."
Margaret looked at Riya’s belly.
She said seriously, "You have to blame yourself. It is said that your son is your lover in your previous life. You had too many lovers in your previous life. Look at Mr. Key. He is handsome and excellent. He definitely didn’t have a lover in his previous life. Therefore, you won’t have a daughter."
Hearing this, Riya said unhappily, "Do you mean that Stefan was a monk in his
previous life?"
