Mr. Tycoon's Beloved Wife: The Madam No One Dares to Offend
Chapter 482: How Can a Woman be More Important Than Your Brother
"Jasmine, it is you!"
Doug and Eva were surprised when they saw Jasmine, and they walked towards her happily.
Jasmine’s face turned pale, and then she stepped forward.
Jasmine blocked Doug and Eva, leaving Henry behind.
Jasmine said softly, "Uncle, Aunt, why are you here?"
"Jasmine, why don’t you answer my call? Do you know how worried we and your mother were about you?"
Eva held Jasmine’s hand, with her face full of vicissitudes. She had a country-like air about her countryside.
With that, Eva looked at Henry who was behind Jasmine.
Jasmine grabbed Eva’s hand and said calmly, "Uncle, Aunt, you must be tired from coming all this way. I will take you to find a hotel."
"Well, we have waited all night at the school gate. We are tired and hungry. Jasmine, y.our aunt and I have worked so hard to see you."
Doug standing at the school gate quickly echoed. The Nylon bag at his feet was full, but he was not willing to put them down.
Doug and Eva took the train all day and all night. After arriving in Sun City, they missed the bus stop, because they did not know the way.
After a whole day, Doug and Eva finally found the school gate of Sun City University.
Doug and Eva heard that their child was gonna be promising when their child went to Sun City University. After seeing the university gate, they felt that Jasmine was so lucky.
Jasmine must have a better life after graduating from such a good university.
Doug and Eva had been thinking about it all night before Jasmine came back.
"Jasmine, I am starving. Take your uncle to dinner first."
Doug pulled two large bags of luggage, and his suit was very shabby.
With that, Doug walked to Jasmine.
"Then I’ll take you to dinner."
Jasmine did not seem to have any delay and subconsciously pulled Eva out.
However, Eva was not in a hurry to leave. She looked at Henry who was not far away and smiled, "Jasmine, this is..."
"This is my classmate. We’re not familiar with each other."
Jasmine turned around and looked coldly at Henry, whose smile froze at once.
Before Henry could speak, Jasmine had turned around and pulled Doug and Eva away.
Eva seemed to be in disbelief and turned to look at Henry from time to time.
Eva was a thrill as she said, "Jasmine, your classmate is a good boy. Is the car his? He seems to be very rich."
Jasmine stopped and looked at Eva, saying in a cold and serious tone.
"His father was the driver. He stole someone else’s car. He was just the son of a driver and had no money."
After Jasmine finished speaking, Doug behind her followed. He did not feel any difficulty carrying two heavy bags.
Doug said hurriedly, "How dare he stay by your side without money? Does this guy like you? I’ll go..."
"Uncle, I don’t like him. I have already rejected him. A poor boy like him is not worthy of me. I am so beautiful. I will find a rich man."
Jasmine looked cold and didn’t show any fluctuations.
Jasmine’s clear eyes were cold and determined.
Eva grabbed Jasmine’s hand and smiled, "Yes, you are the most beautiful girl in our town. You are so capable to get into such a good university. The driver’s son didn’t deserve you."
Eva even thought that Henry was extraordinary just now. But now? These kids were better at pretending.
Eva thought Henry stole such a luxury car from home to make himself look like a rich second generation.
"You must be careful. Getting married wrong is a waste of a lifetime. Ignore those who have no money and cannot have a beautiful girlfriend."
Eva held Jasmine’s hand as she reminded her. Jasmine pursed her lips and slowly nodded.
Jasmine obediently said, "I see, Auntie."
Seeing that Jasmine was obedient, Eva smiled in satisfaction, "Let’s eat first, then your uncle and I will find a hotel. We came out of the village this time because we have good news for you."
Jasmine smiled excitedly. When she thought of the ’good news’, she moved fast.
Not far away.
Henry stood there in a daze as he watched Jasmine leave without saying anything.
Henry’s whole body froze, and he was still holding two cups of hot lemonade in his arms. But he could not feel the heat.
Although there was a distance between them, Henry could not hear their conversation clearly, but he could also feel that the way Jasmine looked at him had become cold and unfamiliar.
In an apartment near the university.
This was the best neighborhood near Sun City University, and whether it was the environment or the facilities, they were all top-notch.
After Henry checked his fingerprints, the door was opened.
As if Henry had no consciousness, he numbly walked into the room.
"Henry, you’re back!"
Fiona sat on the sofa, holding a bag of potato chips in her hand. When Fiona saw Henry, she immediately smiled.
Fiona’s face was exceptionally beautiful and sweet.
However, Fiona looked around Henry and soon kept an eye on him.
Henry walked forward expressionlessly and placed two glasses of lemonade on the coffee table.
Without any ripples, Henry said, "I’m going to sleep. Don’t disturb me."
With that, Henry walked into his bedroom as if he had no feelings.
The door of the room was slammed shut.
Only then did Fiona look at Annabelle. Fiona asked curiously, "Why does Henry look like he has lost his soul?"
Annabelle was not shocked as she looked at the television. She reached out and took a potato chip, "This is called a lovelorn."
Fiona Min secretly bumped into Annabelle. Two identical little faces felt completely different.
"Annabelle, is Henry in love?"
Annabelle finally turned around and rolled her eyes at Fiona. "Henry is already twenty years old. He is just a normal young man."
Fiona nodded. What Henry said was reasonable.
Henry was only worthy of longing for love. How could a normal woman like Jasmine like Henry, this prodigal?
Picking up the lemonade, Fiona couldn’t help but glance at Henry’s bedroom door.
Fiona muttered in a low voice, "Don’t tell me the girl you like was just pretty, not smart?"
Annabelle pursed her lips and looked around, "She must be smarter than him."
"How did you know?"
Annabelle looked down and took a sip of lemonade, "If she were as stupid as he was, he would never have lost his love."
Jasmine must be smart and did not take a fancy to a black sheep like Henry. That was why Henry was so dispirited.
But Henry, who was abandoned, was pitiful!
...
The living room.
Annabelle and Fiona were in the same fluffy white pajamas with a big radish behind, looking a bit naughty.
Fiona stared at the bedroom door for a long time before she could not help but sigh. "We’d better not get involved in adult love."
After all, Annabelle and Fiona were still young, and it was not suitable for them to fall in love at the age of seventeen.
It was better to leave the love that wasted their brains and time to the adults.
Fiona held the lemonade in her hand tightly and took a sip. She immediately frowned, "So sour!"
The lemonade was not with sugar. Didn’t Henry know that a sweet girl like Fiona liked to drink that sweet stuff?
Forgot the sour, Fiona looked at Annabelle, who was calm and collected, "Annabelle, why is the lemonade hot?"
Although they were eating potato chips, the lemonade came in time.
Originally, Fiona wanted to comfort Henry for the sake of the lemonade.
Unexpectedly, it was sour and hard to drink.
The air conditioner was on in the room, and they felt hot. They wanted to drink some ice, okay?
Annabelle looked down and drank, seemingly not feeling any dissatisfaction.
Fiona couldn’t help but ask, "Annabelle, don’t you think it tastes bad?"
Annabelle replied sincerely, "I know Henry’s mood!"
In the next few days, Henry could no longer find Jasmine in the university library.
Henry went to the library several times and found that Jasmine seemed to have never been there again after that night.
Henry went to Jasmine’s dormitory and waited for her, but she didn’t show up.
Moreover, someone told Henry that Jasmine had applied for leave from school to return to her hometown.
The beauty who always loved to study suddenly disappeared from Sun City University.
Mike looked at Henry, who was sprawled on the table and sighed.
"Henry, forget it. Jasmine is just quiet and magnificent. In fact, she looks just so-so. Her classmates called her campus belle only because she is cold. If you like beautiful girls, tonight I will take you out to meet a few young models. I heard that they were beauties from the University of Communications, not worse than Jasmine."
All said and done, it was Henry’s brothers who tricked him. Why not play games? Why did Henry have to pursue Jasmine?
It just so happened that Henry was stubborn, and he was pursuing Jasmine relentlessly.
However, his brothers had almost forgotten about this matter. Henry was still keeping his promise. He was a good man.
"No!"
Henry replied without looking up. He slightly closed his eyes fretfully.
What did Henry do wrong? How could Jasmine change when she wanted.
Moreover, Jasmine loved studying the most, and she didn’t even stay in school.
Jasmine didn’t even tell Henry when she asked for leave. She never received his messages and videos.
Henry felt very sad. He felt as if he had been played by Jasmine.
"Henry, don’t be sad. She’s just a woman. How can a woman be more important than your brother?"
Mike looked at Henry, who was still giving up on himself and continued to persuade him.
They were good brothers. If someone had emotional problems, they should help.
"It wouldn’t be hard for you to see her if you want. I have checked. She lives in a remote mountain village. She was the only college student in her town twenty years ago. That place is very poor. Her leave will expire in three days. She will show up at the train station the day after tomorrow. If you want to see her early, go to the station to stop her. Just ask her clearly."
"Didn’t you say that her family came to her? I heard that girls in her hometown get married when they are eighteen or nineteen. That place is particularly backward. Jasmine was twenty years old. She must be an old leftover girl in her hometown. I’m guessing her family brought her back for a wedding."
"You don’t know. It is said in the school that Jasmine has never been willing to have a boyfriend because a beautiful girl like her has already been engaged at home..."
As soon as Mike finished speaking, Henry stood up from his seat.
His loud noise startled all the students around him.
It was an evening self-study. Why was it scary?
Mike looked up and saw Henry running out of the classroom without looking back.
Then, Mike quickly stood up.
Everyone was alarmed by Mike’s sound.
Mike turned his head and glared at them arrogantly, "What are you looking at? All of you, study hard."
With that, under the disdainful eyes of the students, Mike quickly ran out.
In a small county on the edge of Moonlight City.
In a delicately decorated small restaurant, Eva pulled Jasmine beside her and smiled.
"For a woman, marriage is better than study. We raised you personally. I will not be ungenerous to you in your affairs."
"You are young. There are some things you can’t see clearly. Listen to me. Mr. Max is the richest man in our town. His son is twenty-five this year, but he is a match for your age. Although he is a little stupid and didn’t go to school, he is easy to train. If you marry him, you will live a good life in the future. Your mother’s future life will be better with you."
Eva stood in front of Jasmine and chattered.
Today, Jasmine was dressed up specially, with sparkling pink eyeshadow and bright lipstick. It made her smile even brighter.
Jasmine looked down and listened to Eva’s words coldly. However, Jasmine nodded obediently and said, "I see, Auntie."
Eva smiled even more broadly, "Mr. Max and his son will come over in a while. You have to be smart during the blind date."
As soon as Eva finished speaking, there came a sound at the door of the restaurant.
Following his line of sight, they saw Mr. Max in his seventies and eighties, leading a fat man into the room.
The fat man held a lollipop in his hand and said impatiently as he ate, "Give me your phone. I want to play games."
"OK. You can have it when you sit down."
Mr. Max nodded. When he saw Eva, he immediately pulled the fat man over.
"Mr. Max."
When Eva saw Mr. Max, she immediately laughed. She stepped forward and grabbed Mr. Max’s hand, indicating to Jasmine opposite her.
"This is my nephew, Jasmine. She is the only college student in our town. She is very smart. She matches your son the most."
Mr. Max touched Eva’s hand and smiled as he looked at Jasmine.
It was good that Jasmine was smart, who could complement his son.
It was said that the IQ of a son followed his mother, and Mr. Max’s grandson must be a college student!
