My Magic Has No Upper Limit
Chapter 101: A Few Words on Going Premium
It’s been exactly a month and a half. From the book’s release on September 15th until now, I’ve finally made it through the long ’new book’ period.
All I have for my readers is my deepest gratitude.
It’s your dedication—following each Chapter, leaving comments and supportive messages, and giving Monthly Passes—that has brought me to where I am today.
There’s not much I can do to repay you all, other than by updating as much as possible.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ginger Tea.
When I was repeatedly hitting a wall with my submissions, it was Ginger Tea who pulled me out of the slush pile and gave me a lot of insightful advice.
To Ginger Tea, I pledge my loyalty!
This is my second book, and its reception should be much better than my first. It’s given me the motivation I need to continue trekking down the path of a web novel writer.
Truth be told, I’m a deeply conflicted person.
I’m always second-guessing myself, wondering if I’ve made the right choice—I’m even doing it now as I write this.
’Is my prose okay? Is the plot engaging enough? Did I handle that plot twist correctly? Will this arrangement be a deal-breaker for readers?’
Sometimes, for a single short Chapter, I can spend hours revising it over and over, sinking into the mire of writer’s block until the whole day is gone and I’ve accomplished nothing.
But over time, I’ve slowly come to understand something.
You just have to be decisive about some things.
This applies not just to writing, but to life as well.
Rather than wearing yourself out by endlessly going back and forth, it’s better to just make a clean, decisive cut.
In this life, very few things are ever perfect. We all just have to do our best.
It’s only when you truly accept your own imperfections that life can begin to feel complete.
Anyway, I’ve rambled on enough. Let’s get back to the book.
For those of you who have finished the free Chapters, you should have a pretty clear idea of the book’s style by now. It’s a lighthearted, slice-of-life adventure.
There’s no scheming and plotting for now, and no deep-seated grudges either (jk).
Of course, Zelir’s journey won’t be all smooth sailing.
It’s just that in the early stages of the story, he’s still in a ’honeymoon phase’ of rapid growth, so he won’t be facing any major setbacks just yet.
(I mean, who would give a hard time to a talented, handsome, and polite Mage?)
He’ll grow a little, become stronger a little, then forge his own path, his travels taking him to ever more expansive places, until he finally unravels the mystery of the Great Creation Skill. That’s the core of the novel.
On the day this goes premium, I will be releasing five Chapters—a 13,000-character drop.
After that, I will try my best to update 10,000 characters daily, though I can’t promise how long I’ll be able to maintain that pace.
Please don’t be too hard on me when I’m slacking off and only managing four thousand a day...
Once again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support on this journey!
I hope we can continue on this journey together in the days to come!
P.S. I’d like to recommend two books by my friends. They’re both great.
1: *I, Who Regenerate Infinitely, Trade Across the Heavens*
From flesh and bone, to organs and the brain.
From martial arts cultivation and comprehension, to breakthrough experience and innate talent.
Even memories, Spirit, supernatural powers, destiny, lifespan, and soul.
And even Laws, Domains, Divinity, and Uniqueness.
Everything can be regenerated.
Everything is for sale.
2: *Wizard: I Have an Immortality Cultivation System*
The story of a transmigrator in a world of wizards, where he is the sole immortal cultivator. Also known as *Surviving and Cultivating in a Wizarding World*.
3: *We Anti-Fans Are Just Spoiled by You!*
An alternate-universe urban story set in the entertainment industry. It’s full of great references, and the plot is good. Recommended!
