My Online Girlfriend Has a Twin Sister
Chapter 351 - 235: The Competition Is Starting Already? The Sisters’ Battle to Score Points Begins Again
Jiangg Yao also started to look uncomfortable under all the stares.
"They look way too similar. Which one is Jiangg?"
"I’m guessing this one."
"No way, it’s obviously her. Trust my gut."
More girls squeezed in from the aisle, ignoring Liu Nan and his friends as their fluttering skirts brushed against the boys’ hands.
One after another they came, and a wave of perfume washed over the guys.
Everywhere they looked, they saw beautiful upperclasswomen.
"Is this for real? I could barely contain myself during class. They’re completely identical."
"Jiangg, is this your sister?"
"I can’t believe Jiangg has a twin sister! Hey... Professor, can I take a picture and post it on the school forum?" 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
During class, the professor had been there to keep everyone in line.
No one had dared to act up, but once class was dismissed, they were free. A crowd swarmed over, treating the twins like a tourist attraction.
They chattered away like a flock of sparrows.
"This is indeed my sister... It’s her first time meeting everyone," Jiangg Ning said softly.
The large crowd startled Yaoyao a bit. She shrank back slightly, doing her best to offer a smile to the well-meaning girls.
But Chen Yuan could tell her smile was strained.
"I’m heading to lunch. Excuse me."
Chen Yuan suddenly stood up. Expressionless, he faced the group of upperclasswomen and used his arms to hold them back.
A flurry of shouts erupted: "Hey, don’t push!", "You stepped on my shoe!", "Whose bag just hit me in the face?!", "Stop flinging your hair around!"
He simply forced his way through them.
When Jiangg Yao saw Chen Yuan leaving, she quickly got to her feet as well.
Jiangg Ning did the same.
Following the narrow path Chen Yuan had cleared, they tried to placate the crowd as they made their way out.
Jiangg Ning waved dismissively. "We’ll chat with you all another time. We really have something to do."
"Aren’t you guys coming?"
As they neared the classroom door, everyone saw the two sisters trailing behind Chen Yuan. But just then, he suddenly spun around and shouted to his roommates.
Caught off guard, Jiangg Yao bumped right into his shoulder. She stopped short, rubbing her now-sore nose.
She was pressed right up against Chen Yuan. Anyone could see their relationship was anything but ordinary.
As for Jiangg Ning, who was a professor, she cast aside her previous habit of avoiding suspicion and also pressed close to his side.
Two women and one man, all exceptionally good-looking. It was impossible for them not to draw attention in the classroom. They really looked like a harmonious family of three.
"Me? Us?" his buddies asked, pointing to themselves.
"Who else..."
"Oh, right, right!"
Quan Yafeng and Wei Zhen immediately followed. Although Liu Nan was reluctant to leave the upperclasswomen, his buddy had called, so he sighed and hurried to catch up.
The group jogged to the back of Teaching Building 4, walking beside the low holly bushes.
The two sisters quickly put on their face masks, finally avoiding more stares.
"Which cafeteria are we eating at?" Chen Yuan asked.
"Huh? You’re not eating with Jiangg and her sister?" Quan Yafeng asked, surprised.
They didn’t want to tag along and be third wheels.
But to their surprise, Chen Yuan waved a hand dismissively. "Never mind them. Let’s go to Cafeteria No. 1."
"Is that... a good idea?"
"Why wouldn’t it be?"
With that, Chen Yuan tried to drag his buddies away.
But not one of them moved. They all stood there awkwardly, which left him both baffled and annoyed.
"Let’s all go together. As it happens, I made some dishes and left them at Cafeteria No. 1."
"That’s great!"
Jiangg Ning was so considerate. They immediately nodded enthusiastically, their eager-to-please expressions a world away from how they had just acted toward Chen Yuan.
’Bunch of sycophants...’
Chen Yuan cursed inwardly.
Just then, Jiangg Yao came up behind him, giving him a gentle push as she chuckled.
"Come on, let’s go. It’s just lunch, it’s no big deal."
Once they reached the cafeteria, the guys got some food and rice, and they all sat around a table.
It was the lunch rush, so the place was packed with students, mostly clustered in small groups.
Jiangg Ning, carrying two pink lunch boxes, emerged from a back area of the cafeteria, her skirt fluttering. She walked over to the table and opened the boxes. At once, an incredible fragrance filled the table and wafted into the air.
She had clearly prepared in advance; the two lunch boxes were packed with food.
While not exactly a feast for everyone, there was at least enough for each person to get a few bites.
It was just like Jiangg Ning, with her meticulous and thoughtful personality, to have even considered the possibility of them all eating together. She had gone to the market at six in the morning to buy pork trotters and fresh beef tenderloin, keeping herself busy.
She’d even asked one of the cafeteria ladies to keep it warm in a pot for her, afraid it would get cold.
She was the epitome of the perfect woman.
The moment the lunch boxes were opened, the guys couldn’t take their eyes off them. The food they’d just gotten from the cafeteria line suddenly lost all its appeal.
"This one is stir-fried beef tenderloin with celery, and this is pork trotters stewed with soybeans... Everyone, eat up while it’s hot."
Then, she took out her and her sister’s personal sets of cutlery, and of course, she hadn’t forgotten to bring a set for Chen Yuan.
When a pair of chopsticks decorated with a little pink pig was thrust into his hands, Chen Yuan fell silent.
"That smells incredible..." Liu Nan gulped and asked tentatively, "Can we really have some?"
"Of course. Don’t be shy. Didn’t I say last time? Any friend of Chen’s is a friend of mine."
"Tch, Chen Yuan hasn’t even touched his chopsticks yet. What’s the rush?" Wei Zhen, ever the one for propriety, chided him.
"There’s no need for such formalities," Jiangg Ning said, proactively placing a piece of food into Chen Yuan’s bowl with her chopsticks. The movement was natural and smooth. "There. Now, hurry up and taste my cooking."
"Well, I won’t be polite, then!"
"I’ll have a taste."
Seeing that his two buddies really meant it when they said they wouldn’t be polite, Wei Zhen hastily grabbed his own chopsticks and joined the scramble.
As the tender beef, mingled with the crisp fragrance of celery, entered their mouths, they were met with a flavor completely free of any gamey taste. The meat was springy to the bite, and the aroma was so intense it felt like it shot straight to the top of their heads.
