My Seed Gives Systems In The Apocalypse
Chapter 19: Cat-Eyed Vixen
Fredrinn was surprised for a minor second before he smirked against her lips and wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her back.
Andrea was short and she had to tip toe just to barely reach up to his lips, her hands wrapped around his neck as she tried to pull him down towards herself.
In the peripheral vision, Fredrinn could see Rhea, who was visibly blushing and pretending not to look or care as the two of them shared a kiss right in front of her.
But of course, no matter how shameless Andrea acted, she couldn’t resist the gazes that fell on the two of them.
After all, nearly the whole storage room was open and a single room where all the residents were hanging out in.
So it wasn’t just Rhea that was watching them, but the entire group.
Andrea pulled back from the kiss, slight blush colouring her cheeks as she stared up into his eyes.
"Now you know how to kiss?" she giggled.
"Yeah, should I demonstrate how well I have learned?" Fredrinn whispered back, his hands curling on her waist, on the slim exposed part of her skin.
Andrea’s breath hitched feeling the rough texture of his palm.
His taut muscles, the arm wrestling, everything flashed in her mind as Andrea’s grip tightened around his neck.
Her thighs clenched together, eyes unfocused as she looked up with trembling lips.
She was finding it hard to control herself, to say the least.
"Everyone’s watching." Andrea whispered softly.
Fredrinn looked up from her eyes, seeing how the girls far away were looking at the drama, while the other guys had many kinds of emotions on their faces.
Some uncaring, some busy, some jealous and some outright furious. It was an all you can eat buffet out there.
However, he didn’t get time to care about any of that.
A loud, resounding and slightly familiar sound echoed around the entire storage room.
*Bang*
Not just once. Not twice. Multiple times.
There was a symphony of gunshots.
Fredrinn had entered the storage from the backdoor after seeing the amount of zombies at the front, but currently, this continuous show of american strength was coming from the front side of the store.
"What the fu..." Jacob’s eyes were widened and affixed on the front while Andrea separated from Fredrinn slowly.
It was clear that no one had expected this.
The shooting continued outside for a good minute while everyone inside panicked.
It was easy to guess that the ones shooting were humans, but no one knew if those humans were friendly or not.
Who is to say that they weren’t attacking just to steal everything inside? Who can guarantee that they won’t make the survivors do ’wrong’ things under the pressure of a gun?
Andrea gripped Fredrinn’s shirt, hiding behind him as she gestured for Rhea to come closer.
Choosing Fredrinn as her ’lover’ was mainly for protection in her mind anyway. He was the strongest and thus he was the right choice for her.
Rhea was shy, but the ringing gunshots made her flinch, allowing her to drop all the pretenses of shyness and swiftly huddle next to her sister, staying behind Fredrinn.
"W-Who do you think they are, sis? Are they friendly?" Rhea asked in a low voice.
"I don’t know." Andrea replied, her hands clutching Fredrinn’s shirt but her eyes roaming over everyone inside the storage room.
She was scanning the audience, trying to spot anyone who felt like the ’odd’ one out.
She had a feeling that whoever was outside wasn’t there just randomly.
They were most likely invited.
And finally, her eyes fell over a young woman.
Oval face, thin, cat like eyes and silky purple hair. Clearly dyed. Her figure was well maintained, around 5 ’4 in height and graceful curves.
To any normal, straight man, that woman would appear attractive without a doubt.
But in Andrea’s eyes, she appeared like a cat-eyed vixen who had somehow managed to lure a group of dangerous people here.
"Fredrinn." Andrea whispered, "Look at your 8’ O clock. The cat eyed woman."
Fredrinn was confused what she meant by 8’o clock, but after hearing the code word cat-eyed woman, he simply turned in the direction most women were gathered before locating a beauty that matched the description.
And indeed, she was gorgeous.
"I agree that she looks good, but are you sure this is the right time to be ogling girls? Also weren’t we just kissing? I didn’t know you were so open-minded–"
"Shut up!" Andrea pinched Fredrinn’s waist.
She was continuously surprised by the man’s guts. He was looking at a well armed group with at least a strength of 4, and yet he was calm enough to be joking?
Or well, he was simply that confident because he had lost most of his memories and didn’t know how to perceive real danger.
"I am not talking about her looks, bastard. I am saying look at her, doesn’t she feel off? She’s acting too chill and happy to not have known about the attack outside!"
Fredrinn hummed, looking closely at the woman who had an apple phone in her hands. She was dressed in a denim shirt and thigh lengthed denim shorts.
He felt surprised that he had missed her as a potential target, but that was not the point at the moment.
She indeed looked like she already knew of the gunshots, and unlike others who were panicking, she seemed to be looking forward to it.
"I get your point." Fredrinn nodded, sliding his hand towards his back.
His fingers brushed against Andrea’s hand as she blushed at the contact, but before she could get more thoughts about the physical touch, she gasped in surprise.
Right in front of her eyes, Fredrinn had pulled out a rustic, old revolver that clearly looked like it belonged in a famous television show since it was too rare at the current time period.
Fredrinn slid it into his front pocket for easier access as he picked up the sword he had unbuckled, fastening it back onto his waist.
He was more than ready for the unknown group.
And as if on cue, the door that connected the main supermarket with the storage room was pushed open.
Gunshots paused.
