Given the Dragon Demon’s urgency, it’s likely that the humans inside are pitifully few. Hence, it seems desperate, even frantically looking for a few surviving humans in this ruined world.

After all, according to the previous setup, Demons grow strong through human fear.

In a normal world, such beings that prey on humans and thrive on fear would have been exterminated by Xue Dili long ago, even before their destruction with a retort, "Once a demon, always a demon."

Yet in this groove world, the Demons who don’t want humans extinct appear so charming.
