My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot
Chapter 350 - 332: She is Veridia’s Guardian
"My master is in there, fighting for his life, all to save you, and you’re out here looking at some killer’s trinket?"
Aiden Morgan was furious beyond measure. Even though he knew she had amnesia and didn’t remember the master at all, he was still desperate to vent the panic, frustration, and rage swirling inside him.
Dawn Miles watched him for a moment, then put away the pendant and said calmly, "My brother is not a killer."
Aiden Morgan was so angry he laughed. "He has five or six lives on his hands, and you say he’s not a killer? Here, let me show you..."
He immediately pulled out his phone and tapped it a few times. Photos of several dead bodies appeared, two of whom had fatal dagger wounds across their necks.
The wounds were very similar to the one on the Luvian Guardian.
"Aurora Sinclair, he saved you for the experimental data you carry. You are the most perfect test subject from the Son of God project..."
Dawn Miles’s knuckles turned white as she clutched the pendant.
"Alpha, someone’s here to see you!"
Beta Morgan, who had just rushed over, called out, his expression changing slightly. There was a hint of disapproval in his eyes.
Aiden Morgan shot him a glare, snorted coldly, and strode away.
Looking at the girl before him, her eyes filled with a stranger’s gaze, Beta Morgan suddenly understood the heart-wrenching pain his master must have felt.
He walked over slowly, knelt in front of her, and asked softly, "Aurora, do you still remember me?"
"Who are you?"
"I’m Beta Morgan, a physician." Beta Morgan took out his phone and showed her a photo of the two of them together.
"The two children in the middle are your junior martial sister and brother."
Dawn Miles looked at the two children in the photo, who were smiling radiantly. The laughter of two unfamiliar children suddenly echoed in her mind—it felt both familiar and strange.
She looked at it for a moment before handing the phone back to him. "What are their names?"
"The girl is named Leigh Miles, and the boy is Titus Miles."
Dawn Miles nodded. ’They have the same surname as me. We must be from the same sect.’
After gaining her trust, Beta Morgan led her to an examination room to check her head.
"Close your eyes... relax..."
Beta Morgan operated the computer, his brow furrowing slightly as he looked at the structure of Aurora Sinclair’s brain on the screen.
Her brain structure was undamaged, but her brain cells were overactive, with peak activity levels far exceeding a normal person’s. This kind of hyperactivity wasn’t a good thing; it could easily lead to certain mental illnesses.
"Aurora, how long has it been since you last slept?"
Dawn Miles’s eyelashes fluttered. She said softly, "I haven’t slept since I woke up."
Beta Morgan was stunned. According to their intelligence, Aurora Sinclair had arrived in Luvia nearly two months ago. In other words, she likely hadn’t slept for over two months.
"Aurora, can I draw a little blood for some tests?"
Dawn Miles’s gaze instantly became wary.
"It’s not for an experiment. You haven’t slept in so long, which is very bad for your body. I need to find the cause of your insomnia..."
Still, Dawn Miles shook her head and even started walking out of the examination room.
Beta Morgan sighed helplessly. ’I hope the master recovers soon.’

Alvin Morgan’s injuries were perilous this time; his organs had been damaged. After leaving the operating room, he was taken directly to the ICU.
As Dawn Miles watched Alvin Morgan being wheeled out, an unusual pain stabbed through her chest, as if a piece of her heart had been carved out, making her whole body tremble.
For some reason, the blurry face in her mind gradually grew clearer, as if it were merging with his.
"Your Excellency, the Regulator has arrived. If you would please come outside."
Suddenly, an unfamiliar male voice spoke from behind her.
Beta Morgan’s expression changed slightly. He asked warily, "Sir, is something the matter?"
The Guardian gave him a faint glance, then said to Dawn Miles emotionlessly, "The Regulator wishes to speak with Your Excellency about The Shadow."
Dawn Miles looked at him, pressed her lips together, and followed him outside. Beta Morgan followed close behind, his expression grave.
This Royal Hospital only treated royalty and nobility, and it was built with extravagant luxury.
Outside the inpatient wing was a beautiful garden. Flowers of all kinds were planted along the cobblestone path, and behind the flowerbeds lay a vast lawn.
An elderly man with a scholarly air was sitting on a garden bench, reading a newspaper.
From a distance, he didn’t look like a Regulator at all, but more like a knowledgeable professor from a university.
"Sir..."
The Luvian Guardian bowed slightly, respectfully performing an Ancient Martial Ceremony for the old man.
The old man looked up from his newspaper, pushed up the reading glasses on his nose, and sized up Dawn Miles for a long moment before asking doubtfully, "Is this the person you were talking about?"
The man cupped his fist again. "Sir, it is her."
"A Martial Lord this young?" The old man seemed to find it incredible. There wasn’t a hint of Power fluctuating from her, and she certainly didn’t look like someone who was over two hundred years old.
The man gave Dawn Miles a complicated look and replied, "She simultaneously suppressed the full-force attacks of both myself and a Shadow Killer."
A flicker of interest appeared in the old man’s eyes. "Your Excellency, which country are you from?"
Beta Morgan immediately stepped forward, cupped his fist, and said, "Sir, she is from Veridia. She was framed by The Shadow Organization and can’t remember many things."
The old man, seemingly displeased by the interruption, said faintly, "Would a Martial Lord be incapable of dealing with a Shadow Killer?"
"Her situation is a bit special..."
Suddenly, a tremendous force struck Beta Morgan.
Dawn Miles threw a quick punch, blocking the Great Martial King Level palm strike, then immediately followed up with another punch.
It shot fiercely toward the Guardian standing beside the old man.
The old man smiled, and with a flick of his hand, he effortlessly neutralized the force of her punch.
"The Shadow is an organization wanted worldwide. Since you are connected to them, you will accompany me to The International Penitentiary!"
"Sir, she’s not with The Shadow!" Beta Morgan shouted anxiously.
"Hmph..."
A sharp pain shot through Beta Morgan’s chest. He felt his blood roil and his meridians burn as he was forced to his knees.
Dawn Miles counterattacked again, deflecting the Power Domain that was pressing down on Beta Morgan.
Beta Morgan gasped for breath, his face pale and his forehead covered in sweat, looking as if he’d just been pulled out of water.
He shakily pulled a special Token from his robes and thrust it into the girl’s hand beside him.
"She is... the Guardian of Veridia..."
"What—"
The old man appeared before them in an instant, his gaze cautious as he once again sized up Dawn Miles and the Token in her hand.
The surrounding Guardians’ expressions changed, now tinged with a faint hostility.
If she really was the Guardian of Veridia, then at the Guardian conference five years from now, she would surely be the strongest competitor.
A Guardian from The Continent of Southeland immediately cupped his fist and said, "Sir, she has crossed the border."
Before the old man could speak, Beta Morgan argued again, "Our country’s Guardian was ambushed by a Great Martial King from The Shadow, which is why she ended up stranded here..."
"Hmph, a foreign Guardian crossing the border without authorization is an act of invasion and provocation..."
Beta Morgan’s attitude was much firmer this time. He looked at the old man and replied pointedly, "Our country’s Guardian is a Martial Lord. The Continent of Southeland doesn’t have any Martial Lords among its Guardians, does it?"
"You..." The faces of the several Guardians darkened at once.
’A mere Great Martial Master dares to mock us.’
Several palm strikes imbued with Power shot toward Beta Morgan.
Dawn Miles flicked her fingers in the air a few times, and all the palm strikes vanished completely about half a meter in front of Beta Morgan.
A wary look appeared on everyone’s faces.
The atmosphere grew tense. The Guardians shifted their stances, and their individual Power Domains began to rise...
