The "civilians" seen walking around the compound these past two days were actually shadow clones—Uchiha shinobi in disguise.

Hikaru, Fugaku, and Itachi stood atop a roof, swiftly engaging Root operatives, taking them down as efficiently as possible.

Fugaku and Itachi shouted warnings in unison.

A grating voice emerged from the ruined building just ahead.

The vacuum sphere had cleared the dust, revealing Danzo’s figure before Hikaru.

He formed a one-handed seal and thrust his right arm forward.

"Wood Style: Violent Bramble Spear!"

His right arm rapidly transformed, turning into a thick, dark green trunk that shot toward Hikaru like a harpoon.

Hikaru gripped Weapon tightly.

His Mangekyō activated—this time, merging Word Spirit and Sword Form in a single breath.

"Burn it all—Weapon: Blade of Fire!"

Ordinary Fire Style techniques were no match for Wood Style—normally, their chakra would be absorbed. But the Mangekyō flame didn’t abide by those rules.

Weapon ignited in azure flame mixed with white light, searing through the wooden spear with furious intensity.

The fire rushed up the length of the trunk and scorched Danzo’s arm.

Danzo yanked back his right hand and retreated to the side of the Jinchūriki.

By now, the Tailed Beast Bomb had condensed into a fist-sized orb—trembling with volatile power—before Naruto swallowed it whole.

Two massive rumbles echoed from within the Seven-Tailed Naruto.

His entire body bloated like a balloon, inflated by the internal detonation.

His jaws clamped shut tight—the image disturbingly comical.

A smirk curled at Hikaru’s lips.

"Flash Step."

He vanished.

Danzo’s fingers grasped empty air.

"ROAR!!"

The screech of the demon fox snapped Danzo back to reality.

It was a trap.

Hikaru’s real target—was the Jinchūriki.

In the blink of an eye, Hikaru appeared beside Naruto.

"SUSANOO!"

His chakra exploded, cloaking him in a black half-giant made of intertwining shadows and flame.

The Susanoo slammed the fox to the ground with both arms—one pressing down on its torso, the other clutching its throat.

The Tailed Beast Bomb, still charging, was halted mid-formation.

But the chakra buildup didn’t disappear—it continued to expand.

BOOM!

An enormous explosion erupted inside the beast.

The demon fox flopped to the ground—smoke pouring from both its mouth and rear.
