This technique was what would allow him to perfectly fuse the powers together.

This technique contained the Nexus frequency behavior pattern and the soul power that was also fueled by Nexus energy.

While deep in comprehension, that is exactly what Grey observed. These two powers had clashed fiercely against each other, but at their absolute core, both of them had the exact same power fueling them. The Nexus energy. His soul had already been altered drastically, to the point it contained complete Nexus power inside it. It would be much more accurate to call his soul a Nexus Soul.

And his Nexus Soul, having achieved perfection, naturally had far more soul power. Curiously, he decided to check his own soul power readout.

The clone he had configured was a heaven-defying genius type, yet it still could not hold a candle to his baseline.

There was a drastic difference between the Nexus energy and the Aether energy. Aether energy was half perfection. Nexus energy was absolute perfection. He, who was constantly being reshaped by its power, would naturally be superior to everyone else. That was also the core reason he could currently fight against a 6th rank being at the fourth level effortlessly. The gap between the first stage of the 5th rank and the 6th rank was astronomical. He was directly crossing two entire stages of the 5th rank to fight above his level.

Now, having completely understood the behavioral pattern of his frequency and soul, he fully realized that the Nexus energy played a crucial role in it. With every breakthrough he attempted, its power was slowly transforming him and in turn causing his power levels to spike slightly. The biggest increment it gave was when he actually underwent metamorphosis.

Who and what gave birth to metamorphosis energy? This was the absolute core of the evolvers. It was the exact same power that the evolvers in the higher worlds utilized to cross the barrier of space and time to achieve transcendence and gain access to Ascendancy Valor.

Even the gods and True Source Dragons seemed to use it every single time they advanced through the ranks.

Grey reconfigured the clone once more. Soon, the clone began attempting to break through using the new technique.

A visible soundwave ring formed around the clone. Its source and soul differentiated as the metamorphosis power from the 6th rank acted as an absolute anchor for all of this.

The exact same glitchy effect distorted outward, but Grey had already made strict precautions for that. There was already a failsafe safeguard mechanism stored directly in the technique which would allow a cultivator to seamlessly control this explosive power.

The soundwave ring became even more intense as static erupted everywhere, but it did not breach the research institute’s path simulation area. It was safely contained.

Soon, the chaotic power stabilized, and a brand new structure formed in the digital void.

It was a 5th-dimensional source, but at the same time, there seemed to be something fundamentally different about it. It just felt different.

He couldn’t quite wrap his mind around it.

Yet, every single ripple it made was drastically changing the immediate reality.

This was the exact result he desired.

"But it is not enough. While it has achieved base-level stabilizing and even has the power to reach the 6th rank..."

"It still needs permanent stabilization."

But Grey knew just the thing he needed.

He needed anchors. Or rather, he needed to form axes across the source, and each axis would permanently stabilize the power.

And he knew exactly how to do it. There was still plenty of metamorphosis energy left over. First and foremost, he would contain this metamorphosis at the 6th rank. Then, he would fuse it even further with the new power that had just been born.

Metamorphosis previously acted as a temporary anchor while the fusing happened. But now, he would harness its power and combine it with the new energy to form literal sparks across the newly formed construct.

Six sparks. They would act as the absolute stabilizer for the axiom energy realm. But these sparks needed to be entirely self-sustaining.

That is exactly where the Chaos Spark construct he had comprehended earlier would come in. He had fully comprehended its structure, so it was ready to use.

"If I split them into six, then I can achieve the exact same result."

Soon, the clone perfectly executed Grey’s commands. Several brilliant sparks formed sequentially across the construct.

He had made some highly subtle changes to the mechanics of the sparks.

He named it Axiom because the construct right now looked a lot like a central axis where a planet revolved around its orbit.

Since this construct was the ultimate result of soul and frequency fusion, he decided to name it Axiom.

"The 6th rank will be officially called the Nexus Axiom Realm or the Aether Axiom Realm. The technique used to fuse the power will be called the Axiom Fusion Technique." Grey nodded satisfyingly.

He had conceptualized the 6th rank completely.

He felt like he needed to add much more weight to it and perhaps even deeply study the new power to see what sort of unique abilities birthed from it.
