One Piece: Pirate King? I just want to kill all of you
Chapter 131: Because You’re Facing a God! Will: What a Weak God
Whoosh—!
The stone pillar shot skyward, ferrying Will high above Upper Yard—the sacred land Enel had claimed as his own.
As the thick veil of clouds loomed closer, a sharp glint flashed in Will’s eyes.
He flipped backward mid-flight, then lashed out with a powerful kick against the pillar’s trailing end.
Bang—!
The impact sent the stone pillar rocketing forward like a missile, tearing straight into the clouds at breakneck speed.
Boom—!
A thunderous explosion ripped through the sky. Smoke billowed, clouds scattered, and the sturdy pillar carved a clean tunnel through the dense layer.
Without hesitation, Will stepped into the air—Geppo—and shot upward into the lingering haze.
Inside the shrine perched atop the clouds, the sudden roar from outside startled the attending priests.
"What was that?"
"An explosion?"
"Someone actually dares come to the shrine looking to die?"
Unlike the nervous whispers of the ordinary Skypieans, Enel and his four priests had already sensed the situation outside with their Mantra.
Enel leaned forward, elbows on his knees, an amused smile curling his lips.
"You four—open the doors and give our guest a proper welcome."
"Yes, Lord Enel!"
The priests bowed in unison, then moved as one to swing open the massive shrine gates.
Just beyond the entrance, smoke still hung thick in the ruptured clouds, as though something had detonated there moments earlier.
Satori—the spherical priest—and Shura, lance in hand, stepped out together.
Shura circled the shrine perimeter once before returning to the doorway. From the thinning smoke ahead, a tall figure emerged, walking steadily toward them.
Will spared only a glance at the red-roofed, white-walled shrine and the two Skypieans guarding its entrance. His eyes fixed instead on the bare-chested man lounging on a throne-like seat inside.
"So you’re Enel. The one who calls himself ’God.’"
The long earlobes and four thunder drums strapped to his back left no room for doubt—those features were unmistakable.
"How dare you!"
Shura exploded with rage.
"You filthy intruder—how dare you speak such blasphemy against God? Unforgivable!"
"Hoo hoo hoo You’re dead today, you know that?" Satori chimed in with his eerie laugh, spinning endlessly in place. "Have you decided how you want to die?"
Will smirked.
"False god."
He corrected them coolly.
"You’ve got it backward. Between him and me—he’s the one issuing the challenge."
Ignoring the two guards entirely, Will slipped his hands into his pockets and strolled past them into the shrine.
Enel raised an eyebrow, but no real anger crossed his face. He simply plucked an apple from a nearby basket and bit into it, watching with evident interest.
"You wretched blasphemer!" Shura roared, face twisted in fury. He yanked his left hand sharply backward.
Invisible threads—countless, razor-thin string clouds—snapped taut across Will’s path.
Yet they proved useless. As Will advanced, the threads snapped one after another.
"What?!" Shura’s eyes widened in disbelief.
"Hoo hoo~"
Satori stopped spinning abruptly, stomped the cloud ground, and charged. He raised a palm and cried, "Take this—Impact Dial!"
The palm slammed into Will’s chest.
"Boring."
Will’s expression didn’t change. His right hand blurred forward and struck the spherical priest square in the chest mid-charge.
Bang—!
A shockwave erupted from Satori’s body. He froze in mid-air for an instant, then a huge hole tore through the back of his clothing. Blood sprayed from his mouth.
He hit the ground hard, wings detaching and fluttering limply to the side. He did not get up.
"Die!"
Shura seized the opening and lunged, thrusting his lance forward. The tip glowed red-hot.
Will’s gaze flicked sideways. He reached out with his left hand and caught the lance tip bare-handed, squeezing lightly.
Crack—!
The metal crumpled, revealing the glowing red shell of a Flame Dial within.
"Impossible...!"
"He’s completely ignoring the Flame Dial’s heat?!"
Shura finally understood he was outclassed.
Too late.
Bang—!
Shura rocketed backward and slammed into the outer shrine wall, embedding deep. His head slumped; he made no further sound.
At that moment, Gedatsu—the spider-haired priest—rolled his eyes upward, blasted jets from his feet, and shot into the air.
He banked sharply and dove straight at Will.
As he closed in, his mouth opened wide as if to shout something—but no sound emerged.
Will glanced up, noted the bizarre trajectory, and looked mildly puzzled.
He kept walking, paying the diving priest no mind.
Gedatsu streaked past overhead, blasted wind from his elbows, and punched downward at the cloud layer.
Bang—!
He plunged headfirst into the clouds, feet kicking helplessly in the air.
After a brief, frantic struggle, inspiration struck. He activated the Jet Dials on his shoes to blast free.
The powerful gusts fired—and both feet vanished into the cloud.
Then his entire body dropped straight through.
He continued accelerating downward, Jet Dials still active, until he crashed deep into Upper Yard far below. Birds burst from the forest in startled flocks.
Enel, who had been enjoying the show, pressed a hand to his forehead, utterly speechless.
"What a hopeless idiot..." Ohm muttered from inside the shrine, his face a picture of sorrow.
The next instant, he swung his sword. The blade extended and reshaped like a living chainsaw, slashing viciously at Will as he stepped fully inside.
"Tempest Kick—!"
Will raised one leg and kicked. A sharp, light-blue slash flew out, cleaving the shapeshifting sword cleanly in two.
But he wasn’t finished.
As Ohm leaped aside in shock, Will kicked again.
"Tempest Kick: Vacuum Thrust—!"
A narrow, spear-like slash shot forward.
"Nani?!"
Ohm’s eyes bulged. He had barely dodged the first—there was no time for the second.
The slash pierced straight through his chest.
Bang—!
Enel’s playful smirk slowly vanished.
He tilted his head, eyeing the smoking crater blasted into a nearby stone pillar. A trace of genuine seriousness entered his gaze.
"Not bad. Far stronger than these useless fools."
He had to admit it—defeating all four priests so effortlessly took real power.
"Too bad it means nothing in front of me."
Enel rose slowly. Lightning crackled and condensed around his right arm; blue-white light bathed his body.
"Because you’re facing a God!"
His arm fully transformed into pure lightning.
"God’s Judgment—!!"
Boom—!
A colossal pillar of lightning erupted from his hand, swallowing Will whole and blasting through the shrine’s front gate.
Seconds later, Enel withdrew his arm. The lightning faded. Where the gate had stood was now only a massive, smoking hole.
Yet there was no triumph on his face—only faint surprise.
"Oh? You survived my lightning again."
Will stood exactly where he had been, completely unharmed.
He spoke softly.
"Harder."
"Hmph."
Enel snorted, kicked the golden staff at his side, caught it mid-spin, and twirled it expertly.
"Stubbornness won’t save you. Let’s see how many more you can take."
He tapped the thunder drums on his back with the staff’s tip. They flared with blinding blue-white light.
"Thunder Dragon—!"
He swung the staff forward.
A gigantic dragon formed entirely of lightning burst from the drums, roaring and coiling as it charged.
Boom—!
The thunder dragon engulfed Will, whipping his hair and clothes wildly.
When the light faded, Will hadn’t moved an inch. Not a single mark marred him.
This time, however, Enel noticed the faint black sheen fading from Will’s skin and clothing.
"So that’s it. A special Paramecia-type Devil Fruit."
"No wonder you’ve withstood my lightning so many times."
Will offered no explanation, only a faint smile.
In that instant, Enel vanished in a flash of lightning—reappearing directly above Will’s head.
His palm aimed downward, a smug curl at his lips.
"Let’s see you block this!"
"100 Million Volts: Discharge—!!"
Zzzzt—!
Crackling electricity exploded from his hand, engulfing both of them in blinding light.
The surrounding priests shielded their eyes and threw themselves flat.
Inside the maelstrom, Will—body fully coated in pitch-black Armament Haki—moved.
His hand shot upward faster than Enel could react and seized the God’s arm.
Enel’s eyes widened in shock.
Will yanked him downward and began slamming him repeatedly into the ground.
Bang—Bang—Bang!!!
The final impact silenced the lightning.
Enel lay in a crater, dazed, tears and snot streaking his face. Never before had he felt such pain; he couldn’t control his expression or his tears.
Will looked down at him and murmured, almost pityingly.
"What a weak god."
"Damn... you..."
Enel gritted his teeth. His arm trembled as he raised the golden staff still clutched in his hand, trying to smash it into Will’s skull.
Will’s eyes flashed. He bent, grabbed Enel’s shoulder, and hoisted him into the air.
While Enel hung suspended, Will coated his fist in Armament Haki, drew it back, and punched with full force.
Bang—!!
A shockwave exploded from Enel’s body. Blood sprayed from his mouth; tears and snot flowed freely once more.
The pain was unbearable.
He doubled over and rocketed backward like a cannonball, smashing through the stone throne and embedding deep into the wall behind it.
The golden staff slipped from his limp fingers and clattered to the floor beside him.
