124 Chapter 123: Failed assassination attempt! 𝗳r𝗲𝙚w𝐞𝚋𝘯𝚘ѵ𝗲l.𝑐oｍ

“Come closer” Damon leaned forward but he didn’t stand. He watched Kaido hastily approach and he found it amusing.

“You are too young though... your physical prowess would weaken greatly if you fight this way. You won’t be able to compete with your peers. That’s why the legal cultivation age in the Gyro Kingdom is fifteen. That’s also the legal age for marriage” Damon explained and Kaido frowned.

What Damon said was true. If he were to go against someone of a similar power level, he will most likely be disadvantaged throughout the fight. The thought of this sent shivers down his spine as he muttered something silently but dared not say it out loud but Damon heard it.

His enhanced senses due to his werewolf side could not be underestimated.

“Steal your time?” Damon found the idea bold and amusing.

It seemed like Kaido was paying attention to his fight against Cassius and watched Cassius age rapidly while Damon stole his time. To think that Kaido would consider such a bold option which didn’t even cross Damon’s mind.

“Your master is only twenty years old, yet you want him to take your time? Do you want to be as old as I am?” Damon asked with a raised eyebrow.

“No! No! No! I don’t want to be an old man yet. Just take like two years and I can make it to fifteen and officially enter the cultivation age” Kaido said.

Upon hearing the words ‘Old man’, Damon’s eyes twitched and his hands placed on Kaido’s neck instinctively moved towards his neck. He felt like strangling this kid for calling him old.

Damon let out a defeated sigh and pushed the matter out of his mind. Truly, in the face of this kid, he was helpless. Unless he was in the mood to kill, he couldn’t bear to watch anything bad happen to this kid.

“Let’s see what we have here...” Damon said calmly as he stretched his hands and placed a finger on the kid’s forehead while the second hand was on his own forehead!

A silver energy exploded from Kaido surging into Damon’s body! But it wasn’t just any normal aura but a familiar one!

“YOU!!!” Damon bellowed like an injured beast as his eyes released immense lights.

Damon quickly gathered his energy to defend against this power but it was too sudden and unexpected. Before he could gather his strength he realized his magic circuits had been blocked by the invading energy, preventing him from gathering his power without deeply injuring himself!

Damon spat out a mouthful of blood and hastily tried to retreat but for some reason, his hands were glued to Kaido’s forehead, he couldn’t break away!

Bam!

A powerful fist plunged into his chest and Kaido opened his eyes, showcasing immense Silver light.

“To think I would stoop this low to get my hands on you. This child will become a sacrifice that will save this world from tyranny!” An aged voice erupted from Kaido’s stunning Damon.

The cosmic spirit of space was trying to use Kaido’s body as a link. He was channeling his strength through the kid to battle Damon! He waited for the perfect time before acting out!

“Sacrifice? AND WHO SAID YOU CAN TAKE HIS LIFE? WHOEVER DAMON HAS CHOSEN TO PROTECT NOT EVEN GOD CAN HARM THEM!” Damon bellowed as his power exploded, shattering the restrictions placed on his magic circuits.

Both combatants were separated but Damon was deadly pale. Breaking free from the restrictions had greatly damaged him, leaving him in a very bad condition.

“THIS IS NOT OVER! YOU WILL BE KILLED BY MY HOST!” A silver orb shot out of Kadio’s body and shot into the air, trying to escape!

“AND WHO SAID YOU CAN LEAVE?” Damon’s eyes exploded with killing light as he threw his hand forward and an immense suction force exploded from his body!

“YOU!!!”

With the assassination attempt ending in failure, the only thing the mighty cosmic being could do was flee since the world restrictions were too strong. Letting Damon consume him would only mean losing a portion of his power!

He couldn’t let Damon do that!

“HAHAHAHAHA! SINCE YOU ARE HERE WHY BOTHER LEAVING SO SOON? YOU DARE USE MY STUDENT AS A PLAYTHING? THIS FRAGMENT OF YOUR POWER WILL BECOME HIS COMPENSATION!” Damon bellowed as his eyes revealed a fierce green light and the image of the undying werewolf emerged behind him!

“Impossible! How could you have grown so strong in a short amount of time!” The voice was more terrified than enraged this time.

While staying Kaido’s body, it was in a state of sleep so as to prevent Damon from noticing so he wasn’t fully aware of Damon’s current strength. All he knew was that Damon was the death mage who escaped death five years ago!

The massive green claws of the undying lone wolf descended from above like the divine judgment of a divine being!

Grasping onto the silver orb, Damon didn’t hesitate to send forth his corrosive death aura, corroding the consciousness attached to the silver orb, before slamming it into Kaido’s unconscious body!
