Primordial Awakening: Limitless Growth With Ex Rank Ability
Chapter 116: A moon walker
Amon soon arrived at the black market.
It was a luxurious sky scrapper building that stretched into the sky.
Seeing it he was slightly startled.
For such a building to exist, without the government doing anything about it, they had to have a hand in it! 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
Despite analysing all these amon was still calm.
"We’ve arrived." Jacob said and quickly got down from the car, opening the doors for amon and moon like their subordinate.
Amon gave the man a brief glance, but didnt say anything.
Jacob soon led them into the building.
At the entrance, two bulky men dressed in black suits with dark glasses and an intercom on their ears, stood guard.
"State your purpose for coming here." One of them stared at the group and immediately stepped forward, his hand reaching towards the reinforced gun at his waist.
The gun was strong enough to even kill an E-rank hunter!
Jacob opened his wallet and handed them a card.
After reading through the card the men finally stepped aside and let them pass.
The group of three took an elevator to floor 5 where most equipments were sold.
Meanwhile, the guards stared at each other suspiciously.
"That’s... the butcher right?"
"There can be no mistake, only he seems to possess such a mask and presence."
"Them who’s the man beside him? Are they from the same faction?" the second guard said in suspicion.
"Perhaps. Let’s just report it to the boss, there’s no need to bother about these details since we’re small fries."
"Yeah, alright." His friend nodded.
...
Amon arrived at the fifth floor.
Inside was a luxurious and spacious interior filled with scrolls within transparent glass cubbords.
A man quickly approached them.
"Welcome, gentlemen. Are you willing to purchase or sell something of value?"
Jacob turned towards amon.
"I have these to sell." Amon stretched his hand and the twenty dungoen cores poured out from the system.
"And I also want to purchase a skill."
The man’s eyes flashed slightly seeing the D-rank dungeon cores. They were quite valuable.
His smile deepened ever so slightly.
"Each d-rank dungeon core is worth 15, 000 dollars. For the twenty that’ll be 300, 000."
Cough. Cough.
Jacob cleared his throat and showed the man his black card.
The man’s smile slightly stiffened slightly.
"We’re going to be generous today and do 350, 000, what do you think gentleman?" he asked with a professional smile.
Amon was taken aback by how large the sum was.
’Is it really this easy to get rich as a hunter?’
His yearly income was merely 50, 000 dollars, however he had gotten more than time 7 of that in a single day. Amon was truly astounded!
He glanced at the young man and nodded without saying a word.
The man signalled for a young lady to come and pick the dungeon cores.
"Please come this way, what kind of skills are you looking for?" the young man was extremely professional and he gestured towards the surrouding shelves.
"This is a relic we obtained from a dungeon, it was left behind by an A-rank hunter. The price is 1 million. However, for you there’s a 50 percent off."
Amon stared at the skill within the shelve and was interested immediately.
It seemed the man had immediately showed him the best thing they had.
Amon hesitated slightly before saying in a deep voice.
"Show me the remaining skills you have here."
"Alright," the professional smile didnt lessen in the slightest.
"We received this skill just moments ago. Its a genuine b-rank skill that enables one to control metal. I can assure you that it’s very useful!"
The man said. Seeing that amon wasnt interested he smoothly moved to another shelve.
"A c-rank stealth technique that can cause you to be almost invisible. You can remain hidden and no one would ever discover your location."
"Although low ranked, this is one of the only few movement techniques we have. Its at d-rank and its almost akin to teleportation through to a minor distance."
"This is a skill that enable you to control beasts to a small extent. It’s extremely useful"
After the man had showed amon majority of teh good techniques he smiled faintly and said.
"From all these, which ones are you interested in, sir?"
Amon thought for a bit.
One of the flaws he possessed currently was movement. He had to eliminate such a weakness so he quickly chose the d-rank spatial teleportation technique first.
Due to it’s low rank it cost 150, 000 dollars.
Left with 200, 000 dollars amon went a technique that amplified damage to a minor extent, the technique could be useful after he’d upgraded it using fate points to a high rank.
With that the money amon had just made vanmished into thin air.
Amon was startled.
Althoguh it was easy to make money as a hunter, it was similarly easy for such income to disapear into thin air!
Amon frowned slightly at the thought.
Suddenly, the door swung open and a graceful woman wearing a short, sexy, red dress that hugged her cuves tightly walked into the room.
Amon’s gaze was instantly drawn to her.
She radiated a confident presence, and she was extremely beautiful with rosy red lips and a deep red lipstick.
Walking with elegant, deliberate steps, she came to a stop infront of amon. Her intense, feminine fragrance instantly drifted into his nose.
Amon squinted slightly, turning in her direction.
She seemed like an ordinary human, but instinctively, he felt that there was something off about her.
Frowning slightly, he glanced at the her and waited for her to speak.
"The butcher... I have heard alot of wonderful things about you..." she paused deliberately, "you’ve managed to captivate my heart."
"I have a proposal for you... what do you think about joining my organisation?"
There was no need for amon to think about his decision...
He didn’t plan to join any organisation and he didnt plan on changing that decision anytime soon.
"I dont plan on joining any organisation."
Avery stared at the butcher and her warm smile didnt recede in the slightest.
"Or perhaps... are you already one of the hidden organisations within this world?" her head slowly tilted to the side and her gaze fell on moon who was dressed in a flowing white robe.
