Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 911: Something’s Wrong
"Bro." Mia Cole followed in, explaining, "She insisted on coming to see you."
The three stood together, and it was evident they weren’t biological siblings.
The Cole siblings stood tall, with righteous expressions on their faces, not particularly striking in appearance, but undeniably honest.
Hayley Cole, on the other hand, inherited her mother’s delicate beauty, but her personality made her appear flamboyant and arrogant.
"What’s up?" Jason Cole asked, unsure how to deal with this sister.
During their childhood, things were fine, but later she became particularly rebellious, and since he wasn’t someone good at interacting with people, naturally they weren’t close.
"I’m fine, just wanted to see you, big brother." Hayley Cole said with a chuckle, "Besides, I’m bored at home, just wandering around the training camp."
Upon hearing this, Jason Cole furrowed his brows tighter: "The training camp isn’t a place for casual visits!"
"I’m just here to look around." Hayley Cole pouted discontentedly, "I’m not doing anything wrong, can’t I come to see you?"
Jason Cole glanced at Mia Cole, silently asking.
Mia Cole nodded, and Jason understood that Hayley had been quarreling with mom again.
"Alright, stay here, and head back with the car in the afternoon," Jason Cole said, reminding her, "Don’t wander around."
"I got it." Hayley Cole replied before running out to play. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"How’s mom?" Jason Cole asked. Like Mia, he considered his stepmother as his real mom, and with Hayley causing a fuss, mom would undoubtedly be upset again.
"Same as always. Mom probably will never have a moment’s peace in her life," Mia Cole mentioned Hayley with a headache.
"Hmm." Jason Cole could only nod, not knowing what else to say, "The last time you caught the drug dealers, there’s been progress."
"Really?" Mia Cole perked up, "Are there any leads on their superiore?"
These drug dealers were unusual; if they could follow the thread, they might be able to take down a major drug ring.
"This time the case is quite extensive, with complicated backgrounds," Jason Cole said solemnly, otherwise, there wouldn’t be a need for their coordination.
"Hmm." Mia Cole and Jason Cole delved into the drug dealer case while Hayley Cole wandered aimlessly around the training camp.
After Hayley Cole left with the car in the afternoon, Jason Cole called someone in to ask, "Where has she been today?"
"She toured around different places, but mainly focused on the office area, seeming to want to explore the logistics department as well."
After listening, Jason Cole nodded, allowing the person to leave before looking for others to inquire further.
"Who has Hayley been hanging out with lately?" Jason Cole wouldn’t interfere with Hayley’s affairs, but her actions today were absolutely unusual.
How many years has it been since she came to the training camp?
Suddenly showing up must mean there’s something going on.
"Recently your sister has been behaving, not going to clubs or racing cars, but..." The person on the phone chuckled, "She’s been around James Reed, not exactly together, more like trailing him."
"James Reed?" Jason Cole had some impression of the name, familiar with it, "Alright, I got it."
After hanging up, Jason Cole set out to investigate James Reed. He ignored Hayley’s antics, but hoped she wouldn’t upset their mom again.
