Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 932: An Idea Emerges
"Hmm, I got it." Emerie Wilson responded, but instead of going to find Old Man Wilson, she went straight back to the Wilson Clan to see Old Mrs. Wilson. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"Mom, look at Dad’s company people, what’s going on here? Why did they put Benjamin in such an office?" Emerie complained to Old Mrs. Wilson as soon as she got back home.
"Without Benjamin, James wouldn’t cooperate with our family and take us along with the bidding." Emerie reminded discontentedly, "Mom, we can’t just burn bridges after crossing the river."
"What’s this nonsense?" Old Mrs. Wilson tapped her forehead, "The company naturally has its own arrangements, doesn’t your father have a clue?"
"If Benjamin does well, your father will see it and won’t treat him unfairly." Old Mrs. Wilson’s words left Emerie feeling half discouraged, as her parents were still guarding against Benjamin.
How could they be like this?
Emerie’s eyes shifted as she came up with an idea: "Mom, you should tell Dad to be nicer to Benjamin, the credit for winning this bid all belongs to him."
"Got it, got it. Look at you, distressed as if we’re bullying your husband." Old Mrs. Wilson sighed helplessly.
This daughter, grown up, pours all her heart into Benjamin Walton.
After spending some time at home with Old Mrs. Wilson, Emerie went back home in the evening and directly said to Benjamin, "Benjamin, I think I should give you the shares in the company I have."
Benjamin paused, then smiled and asked, "What are you doing? That’s the dowry from your parents, why give it to me?"
"What dowry, I’ve married you, I’m yours, so those shares are yours too." Emerie said matter-of-factly.
"No way, I can’t take them." Benjamin shook his head, "That’s for you to have as security, make sure you keep them safe, alright? Don’t mess around."
"Benjamin, the reason you’re being bullied in the company is because you don’t have shares. If you had shares, you’d have confidence when you speak."
"I appreciate your intention, but I absolutely won’t accept shares from the Wilson Corporation." Benjamin hugged Emerie with a smile, "Still, my wife is truly good to me, marrying you is my lifetime blessing."
Emerie was so moved by Benjamin that her resolve grew even stronger.
"Emerie, you go rest, I still need to look at some company documents, I won’t be able to join you tonight." Benjamin coaxed Emerie, then went to the study.
Old Mr. Walton ambled into the study sometime later and asked, "How’s it going at the Wilson Corporation?"
"Pretty good." Benjamin smiled, "There are a few people whose intentions aren’t so straight; they’re the ones who helped Mason build the company, used to be suppressed by Mason, dared not act rashly. Recently, Old Man Wilson is managing the company, their thoughts have started getting active again."
"These people can be well utilized." Old Mr. Walton said with a smile, "Old Man Wilson indeed has a good son, Mason is also very filial. Such small-minded ones long should have been kicked out; he just suppresses them considering Old Man Wilson’s feelings."
"Unfortunately, if Mason were always at the Wilson Corporation, there wouldn’t be a problem, but now that he’s not..." Old Mr. Walton’s smile was profound.
