Reaching the restaurant entrance, Kai Bright saw Sophie Lee and asked, "Sophie, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, just happened to run into you," Sophie Lee’s heart raced and her face flushed upon seeing Kai Bright. "Young Master ‌Bright‌, it’s so late, could you give me a ride home?"

Kai Bright smirked, straightforwardly tossing out two words, "Nope."

Sophie Lee’s expression changed, asking aggrievedly, "Why?"

"Because I have to take my fiancée and her family home," Kai Bright replied with a smug smile. If his ears weren’t in the way, his grin could’ve reached the back of his head.

As he spoke, Kai Bright sweetly took Lucy Wells’ hand, as proud as can be.

"Fi-fiancée?" Sophie Lee was stunned by the term, "What fiancée?"
