Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 832: Havoc In Hive Heaven.
Ozia stood on the drifting body of the giant Queen Bee as it flew toward the closest wall made of beeswax.
Getting close to him was an angry swarm of bees, all gazing at him with killing intent. And fighting through this swarm of bees were other lions and lionesses, who tore and clawed their way through the disgusting mess and fought bravely, intending to reach Ozia first.
Among the lions fighting their way through the swarm of bees, his brothers were among.
It was the whole fleet belonging to the siblings that had been ambushed.
When things were looking grim because of the fact that Ozia was not sure he would be able to fight against so many bees at the same time, something happened.
Two arcs of cannon beams shot through the vast walls from behind, burning the honey and air to strike at the swarm of bees.
Ozia looked up, his honey-drenched face illuminated by the light of thousands of shuttles flying in through the newly made hole.
At the same time, the smell of burnt insects entered his nose. He looked to see who it was and was delighted to identify a woman with a mohawk slashing her way through.
"Your Majesty! Apologies," Shuri said as she dropped down on the drifting body of the giant Queen Bee, effectively stopping the body from moving.
She looked up to the muscular lion, his fluffy, blackish-brown mane shadowing her.
"It’s fine," Ozia said. He raised his front paw and swung out, cleaning some of the insect liquid off his body.
It had come as a surprise to everyone and it was truly no one’s fault.
With Jordan leading the charge into Hive Heaven, the lions were blinded by confidence. The madness and craze of battle was so infectious that the lions who rushed into the heavenly gate ended up overtaking their vassals.
The lion system witnessed the rise of Lionhood Bars as the lions drowned themselves in the hedonistic pleasures of slaughter.
They killed and killed and killed, slashing bees wherever they went.
For a moment, the lions at the forefront forgot that this was a war for resources, got honey. They had started fighting just because they could.
It was in this heightened state of Intent Blindness that the arkship fleet of Ozia and his siblings was caught in a surprisingly powerful ambush.
Their vessels were ripped apart and the lions were forced out of their mobile fortresses.
But this only made them painfully aware of how much they wanted to crush the bugs.
The fighting did not stop. Ozia, his siblings, his friends, and the many lions that had been following them did not falter in their steps or divert their intent.
They came here to fight.
Ozia had even killed the Queen Bee who had orchestrated the ambush, earning a lot of merit as they could add the Heavenly Beacon he got to the pile that was starting to form.
Thankfully, the hyena troop fleet division led by Shuri had arrived on time. However, it was uncertain if Ozia and his company would have lost even without their timely intervention. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
The black metal paw on his left brimmed with power that he had been storing, just in case.
"Your Majesty, Ralph has led the vanguard fleet to seize the western hive coverage and Jordan has been held back at the moment in the northwest," Shuri said.
Although she tried to maintain a professional expression, her eyes said otherwise.
She was literally the Primordial of War. She had an incredible urge to rush to the forefront and wanted more than anything else to fight alongside a powerful comrade like Ralph.
Thinking of how Ralph was probably having a good time commanding his army, Shuri could not help but frown.
Unfortunately, she had been tasked with establishing a defensive station so that more heavenly gates could be opened to the Hive.
She wished everyone so slightly that some ignorant fool would break through Ralph’s formations and charge at her defense station.
Oh, how wonderful that would be.
As Shuri and Ozia exchanged information, other lion arkships zoomed by, blasting weapons wherever they could.
Cannot beams, metal tentacles, anti-power missiles, and many more weapons that had been developed properly were finally being used.
There was also another group of arkships that cruised around with Extraction Model Shuttles or Carrier Class Shuttles. These groups drove around, extracting the honey around them as much as possible before loading them and flying back to the heavenly gates.
"What about my father?" Ozia asked. Blue magic runes flashed in his eyes as he prepared to make a decision on whether to retreat or wait for someone to bring a new fleet of arkships for him.
"He’s still in Leonine Heaven, Your Majesty," Shuri answered plainly.
"No, I mean his clone," Ozia narrowed his eyes and looked around, checking all the floating bodies of the lions who had died in that ambush.
"The All-King took Silas with him and followed after Jordan along with a group of immortals.
I believe King Quin was among them."
Shuri stated what she knew. Since she was in charge of the defence station, she was also aware of everyone who was coming into Hive Heaven.
Already,.some Primordials were asking if they could come so that they could use Hive Heaven to work on themselves.
Shuri was yet to answer but she knew that some of them would not wait any longer and would have just asked Kael directly.
"He took Silas?" Ozia frowned. He had been hoping to talk about Silas’s ordeal together with their Father. It was best if both of them talked instead of just Silas.
Who knew what conclusion the All-King would come to on his own if there was no one to add their own opinion?
Not that Ozia didn’t trust his father’s judgement, just that he feared what would happen to his brother if the All-King came to certain conclusions.
"Okay then, I won’t be retreating. Tell someone to get me and my company some arkships to pilot,"
Shuri nodded and Ozia looked away, hiding the worried look he had as he thought of his brother.
