Caelum suddenly felt something massive stir near them.

Without even thinking, he instantly grabbed Bonjour and jumped backward.

BOOOOM!

The gigantic "rock" standing before them suddenly trembled violently.

Then the lower portion of the massive structure slowly folded upward.

A shining white object suddenly focused upon them, illuminating the entire cavern with terrifying brilliance.

The moment Caelum and Bonjour saw it, an instinctive fear surged through both of their bodies.

Their very souls screamed danger.

Bonjour’s body suddenly released dark smoke while the tattoo of skull upon his shoulder ignited violently.

Meanwhile, Caelum abruptly felt his mind become unusually calm despite cold sweat pouring from his entire body.

Then his eyes shone brightly.

His pupils rapidly contracted and expanded repeatedly while his [Heaven Reading Eyes] forcefully attempted to comprehend the enormous existence before him.

And finally, he saw the truth.

At that exact moment, a gigantic slit narrowed toward them as the glowing object moved slightly.

’Shit...’ Caelum thought in horror.

’How can a dragon possibly be this large?’

What he initially mistook for some colossal mountain-like structure was actually only, an eye.

A single enormous dragon eye hundreds of meters wide.

And that eye alone was staring directly at them.

Caelum could not even properly observe the full body of the colossal dragon hidden within the darkness beyond.

Then the dragon spoke.

"Two rather interesting little creatures are present here."

Its voice echoed throughout the cave like thunder.

"Tell me... how exactly did the two of you arrive here?"

Even while listening carefully, Caelum realized the dragon had not physically opened its mouth.

Instead, the surrounding mana itself vibrated in specific patterns to produce sound.

"You possess quite unusual eyes... and an even more unusual body," the dragon commented while observing Caelum carefully.

Then, the entire cave trembled once again.

The dragon’s enormous pupil shifted slightly.

"Now who is it this time?" it growled in visible irritation.

"Must my cave truly become a public ground today?!"

Another heavy voice suddenly echoed from outside.

"Oh... apologies about that," the newcomer replied casually.

"But I sensed something strange nearby a day ago, and the direction I was following suddenly changed midway."

The voice paused briefly.

"And honestly, I’m starting to feel somewhat cramped."

BOOOOM!

A blinding light erupted throughout the cavern.

Then an enormous figure nearly three hundred meters tall suddenly appeared before both boys.

"A really... Big Ice?" Bonjour muttered blankly.

Meanwhile, Caelum stared upward in shock.

’A Yeti...? But how can a Yeti possibly be this enormous?’

The figure resembled a gigantic titan-like Yeti.

It possessed light blue skin covered in thick white fur, massive limbs, and four large canine fangs protruding from its mouth, two upward and two downward.

Primitive ornaments and beast-hide decorations hung around its waist.

Then the gigantic Yeti lowered its gaze toward Bonjour.

"You..." it rumbled slowly.

"You carry the scent of my kin."

However, before things could continue further.

"Why the hell are YOU here first?!" the dragon roared furiously.

The pressure within the cavern instantly became overwhelming.

The Yeti frowned.

"Didn’t you just hear me, Old Dragon?" it replied irritably.

"That little barbarian smells like my kin."

The dragon suddenly emitted a brilliant glow.

Then its gigantic form rapidly shrank.

Moments later, an old man appeared standing before the two boys.

He possessed long white hair, slit pupils, curved dragon horns, and scales covering his entire body.

"You bastard," the old dragon growled angrily.

"Do you think I’ll remain calm after someone intrudes into my territory twice in a single day?"

The old man looked frighteningly energetic despite his age.

"Twice?" the Yeti repeated before suddenly pausing.

"Wait, Old Dragon, I actually came here because I have something importa–"

Before he could finish speaking.

BOOOOM!

The dragon attacked first.

"Damn it! Do you really think I’m afraid to fight you?!" the Yeti roared in annoyance.

Instantly, a violent snowstorm erupted throughout the cavern.

At the same time, the Yeti’s body began expanding larger once again.

"Alright, enough," the old dragon suddenly said after a brief clash.

"I understand you’re serious."

The pressure throughout the cavern finally lessened.

Only then did the dragon glance toward Caelum and Bonjour.

Both boys had unknowingly become trapped inside massive blocks of ice merely from the aftereffects of the confrontation between two terrifying strong entities.

The old dragon casually tapped one finger against the ice.

CRACK.

The ice instantly shattered apart.

"HAAAH–!"

Both Caelum and Bonjour immediately gasped for breath.

"What the hell just happened?!" Bonjour shouted.

"We almost died from the side effects alone!" Caelum added while breathing heavily.

Meanwhile, the gigantic Yeti looked extremely annoyed.

"Old Dragon... were you testing me just now?"

The dragon calmly folded his arms.

"No," he replied indifferently.

"It’s simply that people these days have started taking me for granted."

Then he glanced toward the Yeti again.

"I merely wanted to confirm whether your intentions were genuine or not."

The Yeti snorted loudly before gradually shrinking back to a more manageable size.

"I’ll decide what to do with them after hearing their story," the old dragon said calmly while folding his arms.

The gigantic Yeti nodded as well.

"I’m interested too," he admitted.

Then both ancient beings looked toward the two children simultaneously.

"Alright, little brats," the dragon said.

"Explain yourselves properly."

Caelum and Bonjour exchanged looks briefly before beginning their explanation.

And after hearing the entire story, even those two terrifying existences became visibly stunned.

The cave fell completely silent for several moments.

Finally, the old dragon slowly repeated everything back to them in disbelief.

"So... let me understand this correctly."

He stared directly at Bonjour first.

"You were caught in a Reverse Summoning because your summon Big Ice entered danger."

Then he looked toward Caelum.

"And this human child merely patted your back at the wrong moment and somehow got dragged along as collateral damage."

The dragon’s expression became increasingly strange as he continued.

"Then, through utterly absurd luck, instead of landing in one of the countless deadly forbidden regions scattered across this place, the two of you arrived near a territory inhabited by the weakest category of Ice Monkeys..."

The Yeti’s face twitched slightly at that part.

"And afterward, through guidance left behind by the spirit of some long-dead knight from Karthenheim, you somehow discovered Freeza’s hidden temple..."

He paused briefly.

"...Then after making a suspicious deal with that fairy, the two of you arrived here."

Silence followed once again.

Even the gigantic Yeti now looked as though he had just listened to the most nonsensical story imaginable.

Finally, the old dragon narrowed his eyes.

"You seriously expect me to believe that?" he asked flatly.

"...Are you absolutely certain you aren’t leaving out several extremely important details?"
