Chapter 86: Skyla Valor
Long golden hair, a beautiful face that made ordinary definitions of beauty seem lacking, a naturally strong presence, and an extremely angry temperament.
This was Skyla Valor.
The girl who had just collided with Caelum and Bonjour.
And after the two of them successfully irritated her within less than a minute of arriving.
Skyla finally lost her patience completely.
"I’m definitely teaching you two a lesson!" she yelled furiously.
The surrounding students began whispering among themselves.
After all, scenes like this were surprisingly common.
The daughter of the Principal picking fights due to her personality was practically a normal occurrence at The Sky School.
"Another genius is about to get his ahh-shu—!" A student suddenly sneezed before finishing the sentence.
Immediately another student beside him glared angrily.
"How dare you speak about her like that?!"
"Yeah yeah, I already know your type. No need to yell."
"Ha! Then why don’t you challenge her yourself?!"
"That’s right! Show some guts!"
Meanwhile, Bonjour stepped forward menacingly despite still being drunk.
"And who exactly are you to teach us a lesson?" he asked while cracking his knuckles.
Caelum felt a headache coming.
’Wonderful,’ he thought tiredly.
"Wait," Caelum quickly interrupted while trying to calm the situation.
"Lady, we already admitted that we arrived at the wrong place accidentally, so how about we simply leave peacefully? There’s really no need to make this into a huge dea-"
Caelum suddenly paused.
BOOOOM!
A powerful golden Aura erupted from Skyla’s body violently enough to shake the surroundings.
The Aura wrapped around her fists before she disappeared in a sudden flash of speed.
The next instant, she appeared directly before Bonjour and punched him straight in the face through a surprise attack.
BAM!
"What?!" Caelum exclaimed in surprise.
Even though Bonjour was not seriously injured, the sudden punch still pushed him backward several steps while leaving him visibly dazed.
Skyla snorted arrogantly afterward.
"You’re quite a durable punching bag," she said confidently.
Her golden eyes shone brightly while her pupils turned vertical like those of a dragon.
At the same time, dark orange Arder exploded from Bonjour’s body.
The barbarian grinned fiercely while revealing a truly savage expression.
"This is actually a pretty good workout after the feast!" he yelled excitedly.
The surrounding students panicked.
"Damn it! Someone call the authorities this time!"
"Just contact the teachers already! We’re still near the school perimeter!"
Both Skyla and Bonjour raised their fists coated in energy before charging toward each other again.
But just before their attacks collided.
Caelum stepped between them and stopped both fists with a single hand each.
Silence fell momentarily.
"What?!" Skyla looked genuinely stunned.
A younger boy had just blocked her punch directly without suffering any backlash whatsoever.
Meanwhile, Bonjour looked extremely impressed.
"I believe in gender equality!" he declared proudly.
"You are drunk, Bonjour," Caelum replied tiredly.
" And please stop talking."
Then he looked toward Skyla.
"And you, why are yo—" Before Caelum could finish speaking, Skyla suddenly increased the power flowing through her fist.
Golden Aura intensified violently.
However, Caelum simply released his own Aura and overpowered hers directly.
Skyla’s expression changed into disbelief.
"How about you calm down now?" Caelum asked softly.
"Because I’m honestly reaching the limit of my patience too."
Unfortunately, Skyla was far too angry to listen.
With her other hand, she gathered more Aura before attempting to punch Caelum directly in the face.
However, Caelum reacted first.
He violently shook her as she fumbled and the attack missed him.
BOOOOM!
The released force instead blasted toward Bonjour and pushed the barbarian backward once again.
’What the hell?!’ Bonjour thought.
Caelum also felt genuinely shocked internally.
’Why is she this strong?’
"You—!" Skyla opened her mouth angrily.
But unwilling to continue the argument any longer, Caelum immediately stuffed the scattered papers he had been holding directly into her mouth.
Skyla froze.
Then her entire face turned red from fury.
At that exact moment, two teachers finally arrived from the direction of the school after sensing the disturbance.
One of them adjusted his glasses while looking at the scene.
"I didn’t know rival school students started appearing from thin air nowadays., there’s still a year before the competition..."
The second teacher narrowed his eyes toward Caelum.
"Blue hair... I think I heard about this kid before."
Then both teachers looked toward Caelum and Bonjour seriously.
"You two, for illegal teleportation near the school territory, you’ll be coming with us for now."
***
Caelum and Bonjour were now officially inside [The Sky School], a place that now specialized in handling strange incidents like when children randomly fell from the sky.
While internally preparing a terrible joke that absolutely could not be spoken aloud, Caelum followed the teacher through the school alongside Bonjour.
Of course, Skyla also accompanied them.
And throughout the entire walk, she continued glaring at the two boys, though most of her anger was clearly directed toward Caelum specifically.
Eventually, the group arrived before a massive luxurious door decorated with numerous engravings and golden patterns.
The atmosphere around the room itself felt surprisingly heavy.
The teacher escorting them sighed tiredly before speaking.
"Just go inside already," he muttered.
"Honestly, even I don’t know why the Principal personally called the three of you."
"Hmph!" Skyla snorted coldly from nearby.
"Commoners really are all the same. The moment they gain even a little strength, their egos immediately swell."
Now that teachers were present, she could no longer casually attack them, so she instead resorted to verbal attacks.
Unfortunately for her, Caelum caught the hidden meaning behind her words.
He slowly looked toward Skyla before laughing softly.
"You should probably worry about yourself first," he replied calmly.
"Because compared to you, I’m honestly far more noble."
Then he paused briefly before continuing with a smile.
"And trying to flaunt your background in front of me... ha..." This time, Caelum genuinely laughed.
How ridiculous did someone need to be to flaunt their family background before him?
He was the son of the Immortal Count himself.
An exceptional being who ruled over an entire state.
Meanwhile, Skyla’s expression worsened after hearing his words, as if he were questioning her background.
Just as another argument seemed about to begin the massive door before them slowly opened on its own.
Then an angelic voice echoed from inside the room.
"I heard that, Caelum."
The voice carried both amusement and authority.
"Am I truly that irrelevant nowadays?"
