Logan returned once again to the place where he had seen the robed man battling the demons.

But this time… it was different.

The battlefield was empty. No demons. No chaos. Only the robed man stood there alone — waiting, a faint chuckle playing on his lips.

The moment Logan opened his eyes, the man spoke. "Do you understand now?" he asked calmly. "Do you understand how to do it?"

Logan hesitated. His brows furrowed slightly.

"I'm… not sure. Maybe I do. But..." He paused, something weighing on his mind. "Who was that girl?" he asked, a strange sadness twisting in his chest.

The robed man looked at him quietly. "You still don't remember her?"

"Am I supposed to?" Logan replied, confusion evident in his voice. "That was my first time seeing her."

For a brief moment, silence lingered between them. Then the man spoke again, his tone softer this time. "Don't worry. Someday, you will."

He turned slightly, his robe swaying gently.

"But for now… saving the ones you came here for is more important. Isn't it?"

Logan's expression hardened. He raised his hand slowly, his fingers curling into a tight fist. "Yes."

A faint smile appeared on the robed man's face. "Well then… We'll meet again. Soon."

"Wait, at least..." Logan began to speak.

But....

Snap!

The robed man flicked his fingers. And in the very next instant...

Logan's vision blurred for a moment, only to find himself standing back at a similar place. And this time, it was no imagination, no dream world.

He was once again standing beside Zola.

The four guardians lay sprawled in the distance across the ground, their clothes torn and bloodstained.

Zola stood beside him just as before — silent, expressionless, observing everything like an indifferent spectator.

And the demon…

Thud! Thud!

It walked forward slowly. Each step echoed like a death knell. The members of the Spirit Families retreated instinctively, their faces pale. Even the strongest patriarchs had failed. Did they even stand a chance?

Zola glanced at Logan from the corner of his eye. 'Freak…' he thought silently.

Logan stepped forward. Zola didn't stop him this time. Something had changed. All Logan's earlier wounds were gone. Not a single trace remained. Even his exhaustion had vanished completely.

The ground beneath Logan's feet cracked as he shot forward.

Whoosh!

Just like before, he poured out every ounce of his strength — whether it was internal energy or magic.

But this time… there was something more. A deep, unwavering calm. There was no hesitation. No fear. It was as if Logan already knew what would happen — what he had to do. It didn't matter whether he possessed the strength to achieve it or not.

There was only one thought in his mind. He had to cleanse the existence before him.

The demon slowly tilted its head toward Logan, as if sensing something… different.

But before it could process it...

Logan was already there. His body surged upward, his hand flashing forward. A streak of blue light flickered for the briefest instant.

Not even a second. Like a shooting star tearing across the sky...

Gone.

The next moment...

A severed arm dropped to the ground.

Blood sprayed violently from the demon's shoulder.

The demon staggered back, panic flashing across its face. It instinctively tried to move its arm...

But there was nothing there. Nothing happened.

Logan began walking forward again.

Slowly. Calmly. Authoritatively.

As if the world itself belonged to him.

"Who… are you?" the demon demanded, its voice trembling as it clutched the bleeding stump. "Where did you learn the darkness-purging aura?" Finally, fear flashed in the demon's eyes.

Logan said nothing. He moved again. The demon roared and swung its remaining arm.

Logan leapt. His body twisted mid-air, his clothes brushing against the demon's skin as he passed.

He didn't even wait to land. His sword moved in a perfect arc, carving a glowing blue circle that illuminated the air itself.

Schlk!

A thin blue line appeared across the demon's body — from head to toe.

For a moment… nothing happened.

Then...

The demon stiffened. Its limbs began to harden, as if the whole body were turning into a statue.

"That technique…" the demon whispered, horror filling its eyes. "You… are the Demon Slayer King?"

The next instant... Its entire body turned to stone.

Logan stepped forward and tapped the statue lightly with Audrey's hilt.

Crack!

The stone body shattered into countless pieces.

Silence fell across the battlefield.

Everyone froze.

"He… he really killed it…" Someone whispered in disbelief.

"But how? He was losing just moments ago… What changed?"

"And that move… what kind of sword technique was that?"

Whispers spread like wildfire.

Shock. Fear. Awe.

Logan slowly lowered Audrey to his side.

For a moment, no one moved. No one even dared to breathe too loudly. The suffocating dread of imminent death had finally lifted. The Evil Spirit Family members were gone. The sudden appearance of the demon had spelled certain doom… And yet...

Even that had been dealt with.

Still, the battlefield remained frozen. No one stepped forward. No one spoke loudly.

Because of one reason. One presence.

Logan.

A being whose very existence defied all known laws.

Breaking the heavy silence at last, Zola stepped forward and approached Logan.

"You should deal with the monsters inside the dungeons quickly," he said calmly. "After that, I'll take you to the Immortal Realm. We don't have much time."

Logan nodded without hesitation. "Alright. I've been waiting for that desperately as well."

Zola gave no further response. He simply glanced upward — then, without any visible effort, his feet lifted off the ground.

Slowly… he began to rise. Higher and higher, as if gravity itself held no authority over him.

"He… he's flying!" someone blurted out, unable to contain the shock.

For a moment, the overwhelming astonishment made him forget everything else.

And he wasn't alone.

One after another, voices erupted across the battlefield — filled with disbelief and excitement.

Logan watched Zola's retreating figure in silence.

A faint glint appeared in his eyes. "Looks like… I haven't even scratched the surface of how far cultivation can take a person," he murmured.
