Relentless Pursuit After Divorce
Chapter 2178: The Youngsters’ Love Is So Sweet (91)
Hannah’s eyes swirled around, thinking about the little puppy standing next to Laura, a gleam flashed in her eyes.
"Do you want to know?"
She leaned closer to William, her mischievous gaze growing brighter.
William grabbed her arm with some distaste, pulling her to the side, and turned to walk towards the house.
"Don’t you really want to know why Laura hasn’t come back yet?"
Hannah followed him inside, casually closing the door.
William glanced at her and said flatly, "Speak."
"You first tell me, what is your relationship with Laura?"
William knew Hannah too well, and therefore didn’t bother to respond to her.
"If you don’t want to say it, I’ll ask her myself."
As she finished speaking, Hannah tapped her phone and handed it to him.
William’s originally calm face instantly adopted a bit of a cold expression.
In the photo, Laura and a very handsome boy walked side by side into the café.
The next photo showed Laura smiling at the boy.
Seeing William’s face grow more somber, Hannah was delighted internally.
A moment later, William looked up at her, with not a hint of warmth in his eyes, "Who is this boy?"
"Why should I tell you? What’s your relationship with Laura? Why do you need to know who she’s close with?"
Hannah was not afraid of William in the slightest. Since childhood, she had been used to chaos, even her parents couldn’t handle her, let alone William.
William stared at her expressionlessly for a while, finally admitting defeat.
"Do you really want to know?"
"Quickly, tell me."
Hannah joyfully leaned closer to him, only to be unceremoniously pushed away.
He said:
"She’s your future sister-in-law."
Although Hannah had already guessed that Laura was the little wife William had chosen in childhood, she hadn’t expected him to admit it so readily, surprising her.
"Really??"
Hannah’s eyes sparkled, "When we played house as kids and you refused to make me your wife, was it because of her?"
William didn’t reply, but the serious look on his face indicated his implied admission.
"I knew it, Laura’s this little vixen replacing me in your heart... Ow!!"
As she spoke, her head received a hard smack from William.
"Why are you just like my mom, always wanting to hit me?"
"Laura is your sister-in-law. If I hear you say one bad thing about her, I’ll break your leg."
"Oh, oh, oh! Look at this protective behavior, pfft..."
"Also, you have no place in my heart, so stop flattering yourself."
Hannah was highly unconvinced by William’s retort and wanted to argue back when she heard William say:
"In the future, come back with Laura after school. If she’s not back, don’t rush home either."
"Why should I, I’m not her chauffeur."
"Because she’s your future sister-in-law."
"Who knows if she’ll want to marry you? You don’t even realize how old you are, compared to Laura."
William didn’t want to argue with her any longer. His gaze fell back on Hannah’s phone, looking at Joseph Gresia’s photo, and he asked:
"Who is this boy?"
"I don’t know, but he’s definitely younger than you. He’s not like you, older man chasing after a younger woman... Ow ow ow! Why are you pulling me?"
William ignored her, directly grabbing her arm, and at the doorway, slammed the door shut with a bang.
Such ruthless, such "heartless and merciless."
