The five chefs that Elena had chosen, not all of them were the ones who were just one step away from being selected for the special programme. Among the seven who were this capable, Elena had chosen only 3. The other two were chefs with some renown in this city. So Elena wanted to check them out to see how good that actually were.

The people who were already astonished after seeing such a powerful beast that had terrorized them for hundreds of years dying, the disappearance of all the dead beast corpses including his, made them to snap back to their senses. Then a loud cheer broke out and all the people present started to cheer.

Even for the people who had not lost any family member in the tragedy 10 or so years ago, this was a happy outcome. And the beautiful golden lady who was responsible for accomplishing this, she immediately became a hero in the eyes of all the people here.

The organisers immediately came to Elena and bowed their heads deeply to show their gratitude. As Elena and Golden Elena looked the same, it was clear that they were twins or at least related.

But Golden Elena was still busy rampaging around so they were unable to thank her in person for the time being. That was why they had came to Elena in order to express their gratitude for what Golden Elena had just done.

Elena gave them a sweet smile and told them that it was not a big deal. And actually, it was not. Golden Elena was just having fun and this battle was not even a difficult one for her.

Then Elena told the organisers that she had collected all the beasts and was ready to eat to her heart’s content. Seeing someone as strong as this lady being so interested in food cooked by the people of their city, the organisers felt happy. So they immediately went to tell the butchers to get ready.

Obviously before cooking the meat, they needed to dismantle the corpses. And with the massive amount of beasts that had already been killed, it was not going to be an easy task.

But the butchers here had access to specialised magic to speed up the dismantling process and also to make the meat ready for cooking in no time.

With Golden Elena rampaging in the forest, the other people who were here for the hunt were unable to do anything. Seeing this Elena did felt a little bad about them.

Elena was not just a lover of food and liked to eat a lot, she was also someone who liked to feed others too. So how could she allow people to not being able to enjoy the festival for a little bit of selfishness of her own.

So as there was already way too much food, Elena made a declaration that the other people present here could also join in the feast with her group. Good food tasted even better in company.

Hearing this declaration, all the people present cheered. They were definitely enjoying the scene of a beautiful lady going on a rampage but they were feeling a little bad for obvious reason as they were missing out on the meat.

But after Elena’s declaration, that was not the case anymore. So how could they not cheer. It was them who were getting the best of both worlds by seeing the power of this stunning beauty and also eating the high quality meat that she was hunting.

With the amount of meat being too much and as no other meat was coming from any other sources, the organisers had no need to just put five chefs for this task. The amount of food that they alone could cook was limited. So more cooks were needed.

So the city suddenly became super busy and all the people who were working had big smiles on their faces. The festive atmosphere of the city had became even more cheerful with the death of the wolf overlord beast.

And at the rate Golden Elena was hunting the beasts, the higher ups of the city were sure that the danger of the beast tide would not be here anymore. How could a beast tide happen when there would be no beasts left alive to participate in it.

It was not just the higher ups who had realised this but all the citizens too who had more than two working braincells. So the cheerful atmosphere of the city was the result of this realisation.

Elena was happy to see this. She had already found out the reason why this city had so many good cooks and after learning the reason, she was even thinking of helping the whole city out with her Guild of Eternal Feast.

And the reason in question was the culture of this city. With so much readily available meat and various fruits and nuts from the forest, the people had naturally started to use them for their cooking. And as the bounty of the forest was available in a huge amount, they were able to research and experiment with the ingredients as much as they wanted.

This excessive amount of available ingredients was the reason why the cooks of this city had became so good. Obviously their interest in refining there cooking was also one of the main reasons.

But this excessive ingredients was also the reason why none of them had managed of qualify for the special programme. When someone had limited amount of ingredients, then they would have the drive the work with it and make that one thing that they able to create with the limited ingredients to be as good as could be.

But as the chefs of this city did not have that worry, whenever they reached a certain threshold which would be considered to be very good, then they would immediately stop caring about dish and would move on to something else.

That was the reason why even though they were good at making various different dishes and cuisine, they had not reached the pinnacle in any of them.

It was actually not a bad thing. Having the ability to cook various different kinds of dishes was definitely something that someone should be proud of. And who could say that one of these chefs could not become a master of many dishes in the future.

That was why Elena was very optimistic about this city. So before leaving, she decided to negotiate with the higher ups of the city about if they would be willing to join hands with the Guild of Eternal Feast to develop their food culture even more or not ?

Currently Elena was using an recognition inhibition magic and that was why no one here was aware of who she actually was even though they had seen her not too long ago in the mega screen.
