The situation took a sharp turn for the worse; no one expected that Feng Xintong would be such a person, and even less so that the Ivy Princess got offended by her too. The men who were just speaking up for her all left in shame.

Feng Xintong was dumbfounded. How could this trick, which never failed, possibly fail now? Impossible! She had been using it since childhood, and so many cousins who had done better than her became her stepping stones; how could this be exposed?

Right, it must be that Westerners have no sense of shame, so they dared to strip in front of everyone. Damn it, she had overlooked this. No, she couldn’t lose. She had come too far, had just tripped Feng Zhenzhen, and if she were to be kicked out of Ivy, she’d have a stain on her life.

"That’s not true." Feng Xintong explained through tears, "Don’t be fooled by Alisa. I had nothing to do with her injuries, really." As she spoke, she was secretly signaling to a brown-haired boy in the crowd.

He was her boyfriend from school, with a decent family background. When she had no hopes of becoming the Family Head, her hope was to marry him. But now that she was aiming to be the Family Head, she looked down on him, yet before breaking up, she could use him one last time.

The boy, being smart, could guess her meaning from her eyes and kept backing away as he watched her.

"Please." Feng Xintong mouthed the words softly.

The boy showed a pained expression. He loved her and couldn’t refuse her plea, especially seeing how pitiful she was now. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

"If you don’t help me, I’ll die." Feng Xintong crawled forward a few steps, grabbing the boy’s pants leg, looking at him pitifully. Just as the boy hesitated between agreeing or refusing, she shouted loudly, "Listen to me, Alisa’s injuries really have nothing to do with me. Those wounds were obviously from being in bed."

"Yeah! I can testify." A freckled girl stepped forward voluntarily.

Feng Xintong looked at her opponent, calculating quickly in her mind how to vent this anger. Even if you’re the Ivy Princess, she would destroy you. "Her boyfriend is David." Feng Xintong shouted loudly.

The crowd was immediately stunned.

The boy was also stunned, never expecting his perfect muse goddess to speak such words.

Alisa looked at the boy in shock, with more than just hurt and grievance in her eyes; there was also a hint of joy. She liked David, had always liked him, but David never spared her a glance.

If... if this could bring them together, she was willing.

She was willing to lose anything to be with David.

"Feng, get up. We wronged you in this matter." Someone stepped forward to help Feng Xintong up from the ground.
