"Do you want to get married?"

A very strange look appeared on the prime minister’s face when he heard this.

He looked at me as if I had gone crazy, but that was to be expected after what I had just said.

Even so, I looked at him expectantly while I waited for an answer from him.

"What do you mean?"

In the end, it seemed like he couldn’t figure out what I was proposing. Even with his intelligence, he was completely stumped by what I said.

"Normally I would never say something like this, but this is the only way that we’ll be able to distract the continent from this matter. That’s why I’m asking if you want to get married."

But if I didn’t have any other choice, I never would have proposed something like this. It was because we were in this desperate situation that I had no choice but to propose this.

Which was why I stood by my words and said, "I am."

Noah didn’t say anything at first as he narrowed his eyes to look at me.

I could see the hurt look that was there, but there were traces of understanding that were hidden behind it as well.

With a sigh, I said, "We’ll give you everything that you need."

"Is that really important?" He said with an even colder voice.

I knew what it meant to say this, but there really was nothing else that I could say.

This was also conveyed to Noah with the way that I looked at him.

As we looked at each other like this, I could see that the emotions in his eyes were slowly changing. It was clear that he was slowly coming around to what I was saying.

It was just that this was something that meant quite a bit to him and it wasn’t as if he would be willing to give it up that easily.

I knew that, which was why I just silently waited for him to make a decision.

I didn’t plan on blaming him if he rejected this proposal, but it would put me in a difficult position if he did do this. After all, there was no event that could be put on the same level as this if it were to happen.

I didn’t expect them to say this, but it wasn’t as if I was against this.

After all, there was information that I had wanted from the gods and they had been withholding it from me the entire time. They had been avoiding talking to me and it wasn’t as if I could force them to talk.

So the fact that they were finally willing to talk to me was a good thing.

I looked at him with a complicated look that also had a trace of apology in it.
