Chapter 2294: We’re siblings

When I finished telling the God of Creation about her grandkids, it seemed like she was about to disappear.

She was already starting to disappear during the middle of it, but I didn’t stop because I could see the look on her face.

Only when I was done, it really looked like she was barely hanging on.

Which was why I couldn’t help asking, "What’s happening to you?"

"Oh, it’s very simple. You’ve experienced it when you went to the trial world, right?"

I didn’t understand what the God of Creation meant by this at first, but then I slowly started understanding.

"You’re an avatar?"

There was only a simple nod to confirm this.

A strange look appeared on my face after hearing this, but I couldn’t help wondering just what kind of entity the God of Creation really was if she was doing something like this.

I already had an idea because of the memories, but seeing her confirm this now was something else...

"I’ll recharge soon, but we won’t be able to see each other. There’s still many things that I have to prepare for you. I hope that you won’t mind that I can’t come see you again for a while."

I snapped back from my thoughts when the God of Creation said this.

At first, I didn’t answer as I just looked at her with a strange look.

But in the end, I said with a sigh, "Alright, I know that you’re busy."

Though I said this, it wasn’t as if I actually meant it. The things that the God of Creation was talking about was just too big for me to actually get a grasp on.

The God of Creation could also see this, but she didn’t say anything to expose me as she just looked at me with that all too familiar smile.

In the end, neither of us could say what we were both thinking before the God of Creation disappeared.

Once she was gone, I looked around this place one more time.

There was a part of me that wanted to take something away, but I also knew that this was a life that I had left behind. This was something that shouldn’t have existed in this world and it would be harmful to bring it into this world.

So that was why I turned around after taking that one last look.

Once I was back above ground, I could tell that there was something different about this place.

The flow of the divine energy that gathered in this place no longer affected me in the same way as before. I had become far more resistant to the divine energy that was here and was able to move without any impediment.

"It almost feels like I’m swimming in the divine energy..."

That was just how different it was compared to before.

Even if I didn’t become a god or even a demigod, there was clearly something that had changed with me.

When I reached the edge, I found that Solista had been waiting there for me.

I had no idea how long had passed, but it didn’t seem like Solista had moved from the spot that she had been waiting in.

I knew that Solista was a busy god, but she was just waiting there for me without caring about anything else.

When she saw me, she immediately came forward towards me. But before she could reach me, she suddenly came to a stop and a smile appeared on her face.

"You’ve passed." That was all that she said in the end.

I didn’t ask how she knew this since it wasn’t hard to figure that out.

Instead, I just looked at how she was looking at me.

I wanted to see how she felt about all of this.

The only thing that I was able to see was pride which confused me at first.

But then Solista said, "It seems like the youngest has grown up."

Though she had said something similar before, I never took it seriously because of the way that she had said it. But now it felt like there was something else that was in her voice as she said this.

It was almost like how a sibling would talk to another sibling.

It really seemed like she was treating me like I was a part of the family.

Thinking about it, it made sense since that was technically what we were.

It was just that I didn’t think that they would accept it that easily...

"No, this is something that they’ve known about for a long time. They’ve just been keeping it from me, so I’m the last one to find out..." I couldn’t help thinking to myself in the end.

Taking a deep breath, I said, "I’ve been a grown up for a long time now."

Solista couldn’t help shaking her head with a smile.

This was my first time having siblings after all, so it wasn’t as if I knew how to act.

Not to mention that the siblings in question were gods and I was still a mortal.

"I’m sure that you’re busy with whatever mission that you’ve been given, so I won’t hold you here any longer. I hope that you’ll be able to become a god soon." Solista said all of a sudden while there was still that awkward feeling in the air.

I was completely caught off guard when I heard this, but it didn’t seem like she was going to give me a chance to say anything as I could see that everything was disappearing in front of me.

This was a feeling that I couldn’t be more familiar with since I had been sent back countless times like this.

In the end, all I could say was, "At least let me meet the others first..."

But it seemed like it fell on deaf ears as I was sent back to the chapel.

Even when I tried to go back, it seemed like I was barred from the divine realm.
