"What is this thing?"

"Can you show me how to use this?"

"I want a demonstration of this thing, can you help me?"

There was no end to the requests that came, but there wasn’t anything that I could do.

After all, the current job that I was working was as a clerk inside one of Haley’s stores.

After what had happened, the prime minister had given up on trying to find a job for me inside of the government.

He was afraid that I would turn another department inside out and then create another mess for him to clean up.

Though the mess that I did create was something that he personally took care of because it was the department that had mattered the most to him.

The system in the land development department was something that the prime minister personally put into place, it could even be considered his baby. He knew just how important the land development department was to the kingdom, which was why he went that far in the first place.

So when someone actually used the land development department for their own gains like the director had done, it was only natural that he would create a storm of blood.

There was no way that he would let anyone mess with the department that he had set up with his blood, sweat, and tears.

Which was why that director and anyone that was involved with the corruption had received the maximum sentence that they could have received.

The prime minister had used the full extent of the law to punish those people.

But none of that mattered to me since they were nothing more than small rocks on my path.

Since I had caused such a large mess, Haley was the one that chose to step in by offering me a position in one of the stores.

However, since it was a store that was in the capital and it was a store from her company, it was a very popular store. It was a store that people specifically made a trip to come to.

With the handsome appearance that I had, it was inevitable that I would be surrounded like this.

Only I wished that I wasn’t surrounded by certain people.

Big buff men looking at me with those eyes certainly wasn’t something that I wanted to experience.

It was just that as a clerk, I had no choice but to endure it all and go along with the things that they requested. After all, none of the things that they requested actually went against my job description.

Only eventually it created such a large commotion that the store manager had no choice but to step in.

As for why the store manager didn’t step in before...

"He’s my money magnet." That was the best way to describe the way that the manager looked at him.

People that worked in this industry knew what would sell and what to use to attract customers. They had to know this kind of thing if they wanted to survive in this industry.

To a certain extent, I even admired people that were able to go this far.

But once the costs started outweighing the benefits, that was when they had no choice but to put a stop to it.

The crowd that had gathered was starting to turn into a mob and once things started getting damaged, then it simply wasn’t worth it.

"Go to the back and rest up for a bit. You can help out with the stock counting for the rest of the day."

I just gave a nod while making my way to the back.

Even though there were many people here, I was able to easily slip through the gaps between them. This kind of thing was easy for me when I had my enhanced physique, though I did hold back to a certain extent not to stand out too much.

"He’s like a ghost." That was all anyone could say when they saw me moving like this.

Once I had disappeared into the back, everyone eventually started to scatter.

If there wasn’t any eye candy left for them, they really had no reason to remain here any longer.

However, the manager was still happy about what happened when I saw him.

"We’ve reached an all time high in sales today."

All of the staff celebrated this because all of them would receive bonus commissions because of this.

I had to admit that Haley really did take care of her workers with all of the benefits that they were given. At the same time, she gave them the right motivation since each sale was something that everyone benefitted from.

Since they benefitted from this, it incentivized them to sell as much as they could.

As the one that was responsible for all of this, it was only natural that they would surround me as well and congratulate me.

This certainly was a strange way to go about my first day, but it wasn’t as if it was a bad experience.

First, I had been able to experience what it was like to be an idol.

I had a normal appearance in my past life, so I had never experienced anything like this before.

Even in this world, I had always been in a situation where I was in control to a certain extent and had never been swarmed like this.

Though I had to thank Rose for that since she was the one that gave me the baron title that put me on this path to begin with.

"Everyone seems happy. Did something good happen?"

When they heard this, all of the employees immediately turned in the direction of that voice.

It was a voice that they all recognized since it was the voice of their boss, Haley.

Haley didn’t normally come to this store anymore since she was far too busy for this, so it was naturally a prize for the employees when she did visit.

But there was only one reason that she came today.
