Li Hao hadn’t considered such an idea before because he wasn’t willing to devour mid and minor worlds at his level. He would need to devour too many of them to make a difference. It would take several hundred worlds before he could set foot into sixth rank.

The young man looked at the dao river. “The river of dao has the ability to reverse time. The key does not lie with the river, but with the star of time inside. All exalted emperors have a river of dao after verifying their dao. Even a branch of the river is part of it!

“If I place the star of time within the immaterial dao and cast it into Silver Moon, then Silver Moon exalted emperors can borrow the power of time to cultivate the methods of the past and future...”

Li Hao nodded.

“Then... what will you do for yourself if the star of time is left here?” frowned Void.

Li Hao wanted to set his star of time into the long river. What would he use after that?

“It’s just temporary storage, don’t worry!” Li Hao smiled. “Not to mention, this star was supposed to be there in the first place. “What?” Void asked with utter confusion. Why do that? Why make things so complicated? You can absolutely just cultivate the current star of time, it’s already successfully formed. What... madness are you on about now?

“Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything crazy or wild in mind,” Li Hao followed up. “I’m thinking that I don’t actually know how this star of time is structured. I have some ideas that may entail dismantling it and starting anew from the basics. I’ll construct this system with my bare hands...”

“But...” Void’s eyes went wide. “What if you can’t return it to its original condition once you undo it? What then?”

“Then I won’t cultivate time,” Li Hao laughed. “Can I not cultivate without time?”

“I still don’t understand!” Void shook his head. “I am a cultivator as well, I know it’s a huge accomplishment to build a system that belongs entirely to you. But you have the best foundation at the moment, even if this star comes from someone else. According to my knowledge... that person... is dead!”
