Chapter 2356: There will be no more battles we need to worry about.

He tried to stop it, he tried to close the opening, but before he could do it—

A black hand covered with what looked like living shadows, with long, sharp fingers and uneven claws, came from the other side and the moment it appeared, the entire dimension darkened.

Those claws grabbed the edge of the tiny opening, then, they tore it open with sheer might and—

BOOOOOM

A terrifying presence forced its way through.

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

The void shook and a being stepped in.

Ul’Thakar Darkness.

And he wasn’t alone, just as his Darkness was taking over the void, a warm, gentle, pure light forced itself in as well and another figure with a blinding presence appeared right beside Ul’Thakar.

Seraphielle Light.

Nux’s face turned solemn, but at this point, he could already tell this wasn’t over and just as he expected, right after Seraphielle, he felt another presence.

This one was much calmer, much more... still.

Terrifyingly still.

The moment his presence was felt, the void that was shaking from the two foreign invaders stilled, as if... everything was now... perfectly Balanced, as all things should be.

It was Equarios Balance.

And after Equarios, came the last one. A being whose presence did not have any particular impact on the void itself, but to Nux, that felt more threatening than most—

Orravyn Eternity.

And once he was inside, the small opening that had formed finally closed down under Nux’s command, but at this point, it simply did not matter.

Nux stared at the four new beings that had forced their way inside his dimension.

Ul’Thakar Darkness.

Seraphielle Light.

Equarios Balance.

Orravyn Eternity.

Then, his eyes fell on the Infinity he had been fighting till now.

Zylarith Chaosveil.

Five Infinities.

Five absolute beings whose presence alone would make even a grown Universe shudder, and now, they were all here, standing right in front of him with those sickening smiles on their faces.

Nux’s golden eyes burned with unconcealed rage, he looked at the sword in his hand, the Sword that was still consuming his Energy and it didn’t take long for him to understand what had happened.

This wasn’t an accident.

There was no way to accidentally make a connection between the two Universes, even with Powers like Chaos and the Law of Anomaly, powers that could break reality in ways no being would understand, it wouldn’t accidentally create such a connection.

If it happened, if the connection was indeed formed—

Then it was... created.

Purposefully.

And as scheming and resourceful as Zylarith might be, he couldn’t do it.

It was someone else, someone who was here without actually being here.

Nux glanced at the sword in his hand, he recalled who gave it to him, he recalled every single interaction he had with her and—

The answer couldn’t be more obvious.

The Seer betrayed him.

And the betrayal wasn’t a sudden decision because something went wrong, she planned it from the very beginning, or at the very least—

The moment she gave him this Sword.

All Relics had at least one ability, Nux had been wondering what ability the Bloodedge possessed, all this while, he believed it was cutting through anything as long as it was provided enough energy.

A perfect Relic that almost seemed tailor-made for him.

But today—

Nux realized the truth.

The Bloodedge didn’t seem like it was tailor-made for him.

It was tailor-made for him.

The Seer designed it just for him, but it wasn’t to help him, no, the Seer never had that intention.

The Seer came to him, helped him to initially gain his trust, gave him the sword so it quickly became the weapon he trusted the most so that at the very last moment—

When he required it the most—

The Sword would betray him.

That was the Bloodedge’s True Ability—

The Ability to connect to the Main Universe, from any place in the Multiverse.

Nux never found out about it because the energy it required was massive, but today, while he was up against an Infinity, when he needed to use most of his Energy, when he needed to charge his Sword to its fullest extent—

That was when the Bloodedge did what it was created for.

All according to how the Seer wanted.

"THAT BITCH!!!"

Amaya, who was watching everything through Nux’s eyes back in his own Universe, screamed in rage so fearsome that the very Universe trembled as it reacted to it.

"I KNEW I SHOULDN’T HAVE TRUSTED HER!!

I KNEW IT!!"

She screamed, her voice becoming more and more demonic. If it wasn’t for Vyriana and Astaria holding her down, she would have long left the place and appeared around Nux.

"UNHAND ME!"

She screamed, glaring at her sisters.

"I WILL KILL HER! I WILL KILL THAT BITCH IN THE MOST PAINFUL WAY POSSIBLE! I WILL MAKE HER REGRET BEING BORN!!!"

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

Her scream echoed all over the Universe, the beings who heard her screams felt a fear so terrifying that their legs began to shake even when all that rage, hostility and hatred wasn’t even directed at them.

"I SAID UNHAND ME!!"

BOOOOOOOOM

Amaya screamed again as Devouring Mist exploded from her body in every direction, preparing to devour even her sisters if they didn’t unhand her soon enough.

But—

"Don’t be foolish."

Vyriana spoke in a cold, frosty voice.

"You aren’t the only one who is angry."

"Every single one of us is, but there is a reason we aren’t doing anything."

Astaria nodded.

The rest of the women clenched their fists, their heads lowered in shame and helplessness.

The moment his battle with Zylarith had begun, Nux had sealed the Space in his Universe, making it impossible for any being to use the power of Space.

Meaning that let alone leave the Universe, the people inside couldn’t even teleport 10 meters away, even Shadow was no exception to this rule.

So...

"All you are doing in the state you are right now, is hurting your sisters."

Riona commented with a cold, strict look on her face.

"Don’t do something you would regret once Nux returns."

She spoke and the moment Amaya’s mind registered the words ’Nux returns’, she finally calmed down.

And for the next few moments...

Absolute silence fell over the place.

The women looked at the nightmarish sight of all Five Infinities standing in front of them, in front of Nux and they—

They did not know what they were supposed to think.

They had watched the battle between Nux and Zylarith, they had watched what Nux had been through, they had seen him shiver in pain and that sight alone squeezed their hearts, Evane and Skyla had directly started crying, Amaya wanted to go and help but—

During that fight itself, the women knew, they realized how powerless they were. All they could do was keep the trust they had in Nux strong, even when his body was a mess, his Laws didn’t work and everything was against him.

But—

Yes, the last time, Nux indeed came out victorious, he beat all odds and managed to defeat a being who was once known as the strongest Infinity but—

It was a battle Nux chose himself.

This wasn’t what Nux chose, this wasn’t going how Nux wanted it to.

The women did not know. Nux had gotten stronger after his battle with Zylarith, all of them, especially Shadow, who could feel the changes in the Universe most closely, knew it well.

But even Shadow didn’t know whether Nux’s newfound strength was enough to help him get out of... this.

And the other women were no different.

They all had the same, helpless looks on their faces.

All except one.

"Stop this nonsense."

The first wife spoke up, her eyes shining with a strong light.

"This is not Nux’s battle alone, it is ours too.

Think of it as a test of the trust we have in him."

She declared, then, she looked at every single one of her sisters and—

But this isn’t a test I would fail.

Nux will return.

And he will return victorious."

She raised her voice, her Aura strengthening so quickly that for a moment, every woman around her felt overwhelmed.

"This is it, women.

This is the final battle we have to participate in.

This is the battle after which, Nux will prove to be the strongest there is, the battle after which we will have every little thing we ever wanted, a battle after which our children will never need to worry about resources again—

So rejoice."

Felberta paused.

"Because after this—

There will be no more battles we need to worry about."

She spoke and just as her words lit up a ray of hope in the women’s eyes—

Something happened.

Nux removed his domain and appeared in the Main Universe, a Universe where his physical strength, the only true advantage he held over the Infinities, would be restricted.
