Chapter 1013: “Permanent Resident” Token

Leaning back on the soft sofa, Arabel immersed herself in studying the description of the Family Spatial Territory.

——————–

Territory Anchor: the ability by which Hosts can link their territory to other worlds. Currently, 2 of the 3 anchors are available.:

_The Territory Anchor №1: Earth (Main)

_The Anchor of Territory 2: Limbo (Secondary)

_The Territory Anchor №3: Unavailable (requires 10,000 System Points to unlock)

* By anchoring the world to a territory, Hosts have the opportunity to establish one permanent Access Portal in this world.

* To make the Territory Anchor the Main One, Hosts need to choose a place in the world with a Territory Anchor that meets certain requirements. If this condition is not fulfilled, the world will not become the Main One.

The Main Territory Anchor: This is a world with a Territory Anchor that is selected for the current location of the territory. All creatures from this world who have permission from the Hosts can access the territory through the Access Portal and stay there indefinitely. If the Main Territory Anchor is changed, all creatures will lose the right to unlimited access if they do not have permanent resident status in that territory.

The Territory Anchor (Secondary): This is a world with a Territory Anchor that was not chosen as the Main Territory Anchor. All creatures from this world who have the permission of the Hosts can visit the territory through the Access Portal, but their stay on it is limited in time.

* The length of stay in the territory depends on the rank of the creature.

* Creatures from this world cannot leave the territory and enter the world of the Main Territory Anchor. If they attempt to cross the barrier, they will be forcibly expelled from the territory and their rights revoked.

* After the end of the stay time, the creatures will be forcibly expelled. To re-visit the territory, the creatures must wait one earth day.

Permanent Resident Privilege: Hosts can grant permanent resident privileges to creatures from a world that has been selected at least once as the Main Territory Anchor. After changing the Main Territory Anchor, these privileged creatures will not lose access to the territory and will not be expelled, unlike those who do not have this privilege of permanent residence.

* The privilege is granted only to residents of the world selected at least once as the Main Territory Anchor.

* To grant the privilege, “Permanent Resident” tokens are required, which can be purchased by paying System Points.

* Hosts can revoke the privilege at any time. In this case, the spent System Points will not be refunded.

Arabel then studied the functions of the “Trade” and found a “Permanent Resident” token.

——————–

“Before moving the Kingdom, it is necessary to grant permanent resident privileges to all guild members, their loved ones, beasts, and even prisoners, so that they do not get thrown out after the transfer.”

As far as Arabel understood, after the move, Limbo will become the Main Anchor, and the Earth will take the place that Limbo currently occupies — it will become a Secondary Anchor.

If residents are not granted the privilege of “Permanent residents”, then after a certain time those who do not have this status will be expelled from the Kingdom. After all, the function of indefinite stay for earthlings will be canceled, and instead Limbo residents will get this opportunity.

“Since Limbo has never been a Main Anchor before, it was not possible to grant Geminia and other Limbo residents the status of ‘Permanent Residents’ and allow them to remain in the Kingdom indefinitely.”

“But that’s going to change soon.”

“As for Earth, since it has already been the Main Anchor in the past, we still have the option to grant ‘Permanent Resident’ status to creatures from Earth who will arrive in the Kingdom after moving to Limbo.”

Arabel reread the information several times to make sure she understood everything correctly. She then proceeded to redeem tokens that would grant “Permanent resident” status to all current residents of the Kingdom, including all beasts and even captives.

“System, help me count the number of inhabitants of the Kingdom,” Arabel had no choice but to turn to the System for help.

[Host, currently residing in the Kingdom…]

The System displayed the exact number of all creatures, divided by rank.

The largest number were mortals — just under two thousand. This included all the relatives of the Guild members and the rescued residents who remained in the Kingdom.

They were followed by the already Awakened ones and the beasts from Bronze to Golden rank.

And finally, the Platinum-ranked creatures rounded out the list.

Thanks to the efforts of Idan and the others, who brought along Platinum-ranked beasts, their numbers increased significantly. And, as Arabel saw, even in this case, the number of System Points needed to grant these creatures the status of “Permanent Resident” significantly exceeded the total points for all other residents.

“If Dan had known that granting the status of a “Permanent resident” of a Platinum-ranked creature was so expensive, would he have brought these beasts or not?”

Arabel said in her mind, starting to redeem the tokens.

As a result, she acquired:

* Unranked Token (for mortals): 3,000 units for 3,000 System Points.

* Low-ranking token (Bronze – Golden): 1,000 pieces for 5,000 System Points.

* Medium–rank token (Platinum – rank 6): 200 units for 10,000 System points.

In total, Arabel spent 15,500 System Points. At the same time, she bought tokens, leaving a small reserve for each rank for the future.

“System, apply tokens to everyone who is currently in the Kingdom and meets the requirements for obtaining the status of a Permanent Resident,” Arabel said.

[Accepted], the system replied, starting the process of granting status to permanent residents, including members of the Titan Guild and the Dojo.

After everything they’d been through together, Arabel couldn’t just walk them out. Even if they don’t become part of the Kingdom, at least they will remain allies.

“Now that we have received permission from Geminia and a decision with the privilege of ‘permanent resident,’ we are ready to move the Kingdom to Limbo,” Arabel thought. “It remains to wait for Idan and the others to return.”
