Chapter 992: Hearts of Anomalies
Chapter 992: Hearts of Anomalies
In the west, in the central layer of the Storm Anomaly, Esma easily overcame the endless flooding zone.
Her path lay through raging winds, walls of water, and spinning streams in which it was impossible to distinguish the sky from the sea. Space was constantly changing directions, and any route turned into a maze.
And this chaos was compounded by the pressure of the laws of water and wind, which made the task much more difficult.
“Ugh, finally.”
For Esma, the whole journey seemed like an easy and unforgettable walk, leaving amazing memories in her soul.
“Well, well, and what awaits me next…”
With joyful anticipation, Esma looked into the distance, wanting to find out what lurked in the very heart of the Anomaly.
However, what she saw made her stop in amazement.
In the distance, in the heart of the Storm Anomaly, Esma saw a huge tree whose branches disappeared into the clouds. Torrential rain was pouring down incessantly from the high clouds around the tree.
What struck Esma the most was that it was not just a tree, but a tree made entirely of water. From the roots, which were a huge whirlpool all around, to the thick trunk, raging with streams of water and wind, Esma could feel the flow of the law of water even at this distance.
The law passed through the entire water cycle, settling slightly on certain branches of the tree, where the seeds of the law were currently ripening – what she and many other creatures had come for.
“The Seed of the law of water!” — Esma was delighted, her eyes shone with excitement and anticipation. Her eyes followed the other branches of the tree, and she quickly found what she was looking for: “There is a seed of the law of the wind there.”
But her joy quickly turned to annoyance when she realized that she wasn’t the only one who had reached this point.
In the distance, she saw a variety of Platinum-ranked creatures gathered at a certain distance from the tree. Among them, she noticed humanoid creatures—creatures from other worlds.
What caught Esma’s eye the most was the absence of any kind of battle – there was only intense silence around.
“Hehe, they must be waiting for the seeds to ripen so they can start a gladiatorial battle?” Realizing this, instead of disappointment, her face lit up with a smile.
“It seems like there’s a beautiful sight ahead of me.”
Spreading her four sea-green wings, Esma flew casually towards the tree.

On the other side of the Storm Anomaly, in the heart of the Thunderstorm Anomaly, Lina, a little late, still managed to find a way out of the maze of dark storm clouds and sharp metal spikes.
Her body was engulfed by lightning, and her uniform was partially torn apart by thorns, revealing bloody wounds. However, instead of pain, Lina’s face was beaming with a satisfied smile.
Despite the difficulties of this journey, Lina benefited from it for herself. Her understanding of the lightning element was greatly strengthened, and at the same time, she was able to strengthen the intent of her sword, in particular the power of thrusting.
Wanting to share her experience, Lina took out the {Whisper Talisman}, but was surprised to find that it was not functioning.
The next step was to check access to the Kingdom.
“Hmm, how strange… I cannot open the Access Portal, but I clearly feel that the connection with the Kingdom has not been completely severed.”
It wasn’t the first time for Lina to lose all connections. Such special places of suppression were not uncommon, so she calmly accepted the news that, it seemed, she was now alone and could only rely on her own strength.
Looking up, she finally noticed the heart of the Anomaly, a giant glowing sphere of lightning.
Looking more closely, Lina saw a huge metal tree growing inside this sphere and serving as a conductor of all lightning.
The next thing that caught her attention was the multitude of power concentration points where she recognized the fluctuations of the laws in the metal branches of the tree.
“Seeds of the law of Lightning and Metal!”
She saw them. The purpose of her coming here, and Lina couldn’t hide her joy.
Like Esma’s, her joy quickly turned to cold determination when she noticed the crowd of Platinum-ranked creatures gathered around this tree. Among them were various local beasts and creatures from other worlds.
Instead of fear, a wide smile shone on her face, full of defiance and determination.
Even without her sword, there seemed to be a deadly intent swirling around her, especially noticeable in her four bright, sharp wings.
With a glint in her eyes, she rushed towards the tree, determined to get what she came for.

In the North, even though Lucinda was the first to reach the Central Layer of her Anomaly, she got lost in a thick white fog and spent a lot of time trying to find a way to it heart.
The situation was complicated by the fact that the elements of ice and wind were not her native element, and the laws of these elements, interacting, created additional difficulties.
She might have spent even more time wandering in the fog if not for her connection to the Kingdom as a Guardian. It was this connection that eventually helped her find her way to the center of the Anomaly.
“The kingdom was given by the World Will to younger sister and Idan, and it’s no wonder that there’s some kind of connection between it and this place,” Lucinda mused as she emerged from the fog and saw a Giant Ice Tree in the distance.
A whirlpool of white mist swirled around the branches, from which blades of wind flew out from time to time.
“It’s beautiful… it’s a pity that the same place didn’t appear, but with the Element of Light,” Lucinda thought with a slight note of disappointment, heading towards the tree, around which many platinum—ranked creatures gathered.
“Here she is,” her gaze immediately found Irina, who, as it turned out, was able to find her way here. This could not but surprise Lucinda, because she herself had experienced the complexity of the path and now began to evaluate the possibilities of creatures from other worlds in a new way.
