The silence was absolute. Two hundred people holding their breath.

"The Alphas have offered me a path forward," Callum continued. "Two years probation. Supervised work. A chance to earn back trust I broke. I’ve accepted those terms. And I’m asking...." His voice cracked slightly. "I’m asking the pack to give me that chance. To let me prove I can be worthy of your trust again."

He looked at Rosie, who was watching him with wide, serious eyes. "Because my daughter deserves a father who’s part of a pack. Who has a community. Who has support. And I want to be that father."

Damian stepped forward then, his presence commanding immediate attention. "The choice is yours," he said, addressing the pack. "Callum has accepted responsibility. Has agreed to conditions that will ensure he can’t betray us again. But whether he stays or goes...that’s for the pack to decide. Not us. You."

He let that sink in. Then: "All in favor of accepting Callum’s probation, of giving him a chance to earn his way back....raise your hand."

Eve watched, her heart in her throat.

For a long moment, nothing happened.

Then Brynn’s hand shot up. "He fucked up," she said clearly. "But he owned it. And he did it for his kid. I’d have done the same." She looked around at the assembled pack. "We’ve all done things we’re not proud of when someone we love is threatened. Difference is, Callum’s admitting it. Taking responsibility. That’s worth something."

Another hand went up. Then another. Then a dozen. Then half the pack.

Within thirty seconds, nearly every hand was raised.

Callum’s face crumpled. He pulled Rosie against him, and Eve saw his shoulders shake with silent tears.

"Welcome back," Damian said simply. "Don’t make us regret it."

"I won’t," Callum managed. "I swear."

The pack erupted in approval, cheers and howls and the kind of raucous celebration that spoke of genuine relief and joy. Someone handed Callum a drink. Someone else ruffled Rosie’s hair. And just like that, he was folded back into the community he’d almost lost.

Eve felt tears prick her own eyes. This. This was what pack was supposed to be. Not just hierarchy and dominance. Family. Forgiveness. Second chances.

Then Brynn was looking at her again, and the crowd quieted.

"Now for the other reason we’re here," Brynn said. Her eyes found Eve’s across the fire. "Eve. Queen of the Seraphim court. Mate to our three Alphas." She paused. "And our Luna. If she’ll have us."

Eve’s breath caught.

"We know you weren’t born into this pack," Brynn continued. "We know you came from the human world, that this supernatural shit is still new to you, that you’ve got responsibilities that stretch way beyond our territory." She smiled. "But we also know you stood in front of the Seraphim Conclave and fought for change that will benefit every pack in this territory. We know you’ve bled defending this estate. We know you make our Alphas happy in ways we haven’t seen in years."

She took a step forward. "So we’re asking: Will you be our Luna? Not just in name, not just because you’re mated to our Alphas, but because you choose us the way we’re choosing you?"

Eve looked around at the assembled pack. Saw expectation. Hope. Acceptance. Saw people who’d watched her stumble through learning their world and decided she was worth keeping anyway.

Saw Callum holding Rosie, both of them watching her with matching expressions of trust.

Saw her mates....Damian, Damon, Silas standing together with absolute certainty in their eyes.

"Yes," Eve said, her voice carrying clearly across the gathering. "Yes, I’ll be your Luna. If you’ll have me." 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

The response was instantaneous and deafening.

The pack howled....literally howled, the sound rising into the night sky in a chorus that made the hair on Eve’s arms stand up. People surged forward, not threatening but welcoming, and suddenly Eve was surrounded by pack members offering congratulations, touching her shoulder in greeting, accepting her as one of their own.

Brynn pushed through the crowd and pulled Eve into a brief, fierce hug. "Welcome to the family," she said in Eve’s ear. "Try not to let the Alphas’ possessive bullshit drive you crazy. They mean well, they’re just idiots sometimes."

Despite everything, Eve laughed.

Then Damian was there, pulling her against his side, and the crowd parted to give them space.

"Speech," someone called out.

"Yeah, Luna speech!" someone else added.

Eve looked at Damian, panicked. He just smiled and stepped back, leaving her standing alone in front of two hundred expectant faces.

Right. Speech.

Eve took a breath and decided to just... be honest.

"I don’t know what I’m doing," she said bluntly. "I’m still figuring out how to be a succubus. Still learning pack dynamics. Still trying not to accidentally set things on fire when I lose my temper."

Scattered laughter.

"But I know this," Eve continued. "I know that you all welcomed me even when you had every reason not to. I know you’d fight beside me if things get dangerous. I know you’ve given me and my mates space to figure out what this bond means without judgment or pressure." She paused. "So thank you. For accepting me. For trusting me. For choosing me even though I’m probably going to screw up a dozen times before I get this Luna thing right."

"We all screw up!" someone shouted from the back.

"Yeah, at least you’re pretty while you do it!" someone else added, which earned them a round of laughter and several swats from nearby pack members.

Eve grinned. "I promise to do my best. To learn. To listen. To be worthy of your trust. And to remind your Alphas that they’re not the only ones making decisions around here."

The pack erupted in approval.

Damian, Damon, and Silas all groaned in unison, which just made everyone laugh harder.

"She’s going to be trouble," Brynn announced cheerfully. "I love it."

"We’re doomed," Damon said, but he was smiling.

"Completely fucked," Damian agreed.
