The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day
Chapter 809: Luck with the Ladies
"Willow Grant," Principal Payne began, "your English is good, take Arron for a tour around the school."
"Huh? Me?" Willow asked, pointing at her nose, both surprised and pleased.
"Yes, you."
Principal Payne, being forgetful, had already forgotten that last time Willow’s translation mistake almost caused the school to lose authorization for Britton University’s calculus curriculum.
Willow felt inexplicably nervous, tightened her grip slightly, and walked towards Arron under the envious gazes of the girls.
When she heard Arron mention Summer Monroe, she couldn’t help but feel a tinge of dissatisfaction towards him.
But that didn’t stop her from enjoying the feeling of being in the spotlight, envied by others.
Willow stood before Arron, put on what she thought was the perfect smile, and said gently, "Arron, please follow me."
"Alright, beautiful miss, please lead the way for me," Arron said, then turned and ordered the bodyguard to take the helicopter away.
He spoke in a language Willow had never heard before.
She couldn’t help but ask, "Arron, which country are you from?"
Arron curled his lips into a smile and said, "That doesn’t seem to be your concern, does it?"
There was a cold glint passing through his eyes.
"..." Willow was startled, quickly apologizing, "I’m sorry."
"No problem, please lead the way." In an instant, Arron returned to his charming, mischievous smile, making Willow think she must have seen it wrong earlier.
The two walked farther and farther away under the envious eyes of the crowd.
The girls in the class couldn’t help but enviably murmur, "Willow is so lucky, right? I saw Carter Sutton give her a business card earlier, and now this new transfer student is being shown around by her..."
The other students didn’t know why Carter gave Willow the business card nor heard Arron mention Summer Monroe; they only thought Willow had incredible luck with men. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Once Arron left, the students discussed briefly and then dispersed.
Principal Payne was about to head home.
With a new gymnasium today, he wanted to celebrate with some old wine and a few peanuts.
Mio Osborne saw the principal about to leave and hurried to catch up.
"Principal!"
The principal stopped, seeing it was Mio, and the joy on his face immediately faded.
Principal Payne said calmly, "What is it? Have you decided to leave?"
"N-no." Mio gritted his teeth, finally unable to hold back his question, "Principal, I don’t understand. At first, you hired me with a generous salary, but why are you now asking me to go?"
Principal Payne clasped his hands behind his back and replied coldly, "To correct you, I am not asking you to leave; you decided to leave. Also, the person I hired back then was Teacher Mio Osborne, a distinguished graduate from Britton University’s School of Education, not someone who only obtained a completion certificate without a diploma like you."
Mio’s face changed drastically.
"You, you knew? Who told you? Was it Summer Monroe? It must be her! She’s been displeased with me for a long time!"
Mio inwardly hated Summer with a passion.
However, Principal Payne shook his head in disappointment.
"You’re wrong. No one told me anything. After your scandal with Claire Woodward, I happened to check your records and found out."
Mio was at a loss for words, choked by the revelation.
The principal continued, "Mio, I tolerated your deception because I knew there was still a chance for you to get your diploma. But you keep making mistakes, treating students unfairly, and even threatened me just now—this I cannot tolerate. Mio, if you want to leave, then just go. For the sake of your parents, I won’t publicize the fact that you didn’t actually receive your diploma."
