"Incredible."

Clementine murmured as she watched the fight between Adel and the mysterious woman.

After a while, she finally managed to snap out of her thoughts and focus on Adel’s fight.

’What is that sword art? Also, she uses mana backwards. Does that mean she has Mana Reflux? She might die, but...’

In reality, nothing was happening to him. The mana reflux that Adel was experiencing felt just like using mana normally.

There was no problem, which impressed Clementine.

She had never seen anyone use Mana Reflux to fight before.

Anyone knows that they would experience terrible pain as all their veins exploded and the mana tore their body apart.

But when people had Mana Reflux, their veins turned blue.

However, none of that was happening to Adel.

"Cough...!!! Cough...!!!

A large amount of blood spurted from her mouth. Clementine remembered that Adel would use his Unique trait.

So she easily guessed that the power that had granted Adel his Unique trait was destroying her from the inside.

’At this rate, she might die.’

However, there was nothing she could do, much less interrupt the battle.

Both a Class 6 and a fake 6 Star were beyond Clementine’s reach.

’At best, I’ll just be in the way.’

Her body was barely recovering; she could already move her legs slightly.

But it was still impossible to stand up.

However, when Clementine saw Adel cut off one of the woman’s arms.

He knew there was a chance he could kill that woman.

But I couldn’t guarantee success.

If Adel killed the woman, then they would be lucky today, but if not,

and his internal injuries worsened, Adel would likely be kidnapped by that woman, and she would be kidnapped as well.

Or, at best, they would simply kill her there.

’That can’t happen.’

He prayed silently that the worst would not happen.

"Director, we’ve searched the entire Zone of Isolation, but we can’t find the weak point."

"Director, we suspect that this is a Zone of Isolation without a weak point."

"At this rate, the cadets will die outside."

"Director..."

Director Bernice was furious at that moment. She clenched her fists tightly and stared at the wall in front of her.

It was a thin black wall; you couldn’t see outside or hear anything.

But Director Bernice knew that, by this point, many cadets must have already died.

She was especially concerned about the first, and second year cadets.

Especially the weakest among them.

I knew that the entire Golden Forest was teeming with demonic beasts.

’Damn it, how did they manage to slip past me so easily?’

I had absolute control over the entire academy.

I even had control over the entire Imperial Capital.

Because the Imperial Capital was very close to the Academy, I could sense if there were villains.

Every time he sensed villains, he sent a team of exterminators.

However, he was sensing fewer and fewer villains.

And that was very strange, but now he knew there were villains infiltrating his Academy.

Director Bernice’s patience had already run out.

She raised her fist and hit the wall.

The space around his fist and the air shattered, and the impact was like an earthquake measuring 9.0 or higher.

Everything around him trembled violently.

The professors, cadets, and others felt the entire Zone of Isolation tremble violently.

"D-director, if she keeps this up, she’ll kill us."

Although she struck "gently," merely to vent a small amount of her frustration and irritation.

To the others, it was like seeing death itself.

Their bodies trembled, and if they hadn’t protected themselves with mana.

Most of them would have collapsed.

Director Bernice sighed.

All the 9 Stars professors were behind her, protecting the others.

He turned to them and said:

"There’s no other choice. We’ll have to wait for the Zone of Isolation to collapse on its own."

Everyone knew that the Zone of Isolation had no weak points.

No matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t find one, so they had to reluctantly accept this fact.

Everyone present nodded, while Director Bernice looked at the wall again.

But her thoughts were on a thousand ways to kill a villain.

Just then:

Creak!!!

No one else noticed it, not even the Nine Stars, but Bernice did.

’A crack’

She quickly disappeared from her spot and arrived where a nearly invisible crack had formed.

’So the time is already running out.’

Thirty minutes had already passed, and the Zone of Isolation was beginning to crumble.

Adel appeared before the woman and, without hesitation, swung his sword at her left leg.

But, unexpectedly, the woman managed to react in time and blocked Adel’s attack with little difficulty.

"Impressive, little Adel."

Adel let out a single laugh and, the next moment, attacked again.

Once again, the woman blocked it with ease.

However, due to blood loss, her physical superiority over Adel began to waver.

Adel’s sword cut through the air, and a thin black line appeared around the woman’s leg.

She moved quickly, swinging her sword, but the next second she fell face down, on her side.

He looked at his leg and noticed it was a meter away.

Boom!

The Power of Chaos exploded around him. He stood up from the ground, but his twisted smile hadn’t disappeared.

Even though he was in pain, he endured it and kept smiling.

"Little Adel, you’ve changed more than I ever imagined."

Adel responded without hesitation.

"Tks, stop calling me that. Anyway, the change in me is none of your business, so just die."

Adel lunged toward her, and a deafening roar echoed throughout the Golden Forest.

When he arrived in front of the woman, Adel swung his fist dozens of times and struck the woman’s chest.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

With neither an arm nor a leg, the woman could only take Adel’s blows.

However, she wasn’t going to be defeated so easily.

The Power of Chaos gathered in her sword, and she swung it with force.

Adel barely managed to move her body as an enormous blade of the Power of Chaos cut through the Golden Forest.

A giant canyon appeared in the middle of the forest.

It was at least twenty meters deep and eight meters wide.

Adel couldn’t help but be surprised by it.

’If that had hit me, I would have died.’

Just as she finished thinking this, the woman murmured.

"Zone of Isolation."

"..."

Adel reacted instantly. If he were trapped in her Zone of Isolation, his power would be suppressed forever.

He channeled Inverted Mana into his sword and unleashed it like a bomb toward the woman.

The Inverted Mana surged forth, forming a massive blade of mana.

From the woman, a thin layer began to spread out and engulf the entire world around her.

However, it was interrupted by a massive surge of Inverted Mana.

The Inverted Mana entered his body and destroyed the Power of Chaos’s Circulation Channels.

Boom!

The woman’s eyes turned white for a few seconds before returning to normal.

However, a large amount of black blood spilled everywhere.

The blood flowed from her like water in a river.

Her circulation channels were forced to explode by the Inverted Mana.

To her, it felt like a surge of mana.

Her body fell backward, and she realized she had lost her remaining leg and half of her arm.

Her sword, made of the Power of Chaos, had disappeared because her circulation channels were destroyed at that moment.

"Cough...!!! Cough...!!!

Blood gushed from the pores and every orifice of Adel’s body.

Because he used an Aura Blade, something only a 5 Star can use, the damage inside him increased suddenly.

For a moment, he almost fell to the ground, but he stood firm.

’S-shit, I’m about to pass out.’

He didn’t feel any pain, but he knew his body was at its limit and that many of his organs and blood vessels had been shattered.

’I must kill her now.’

Adel began moving quickly toward the woman. When he reached her, he raised his sword and aimed for her head.

He gathered a large amount of mana to destroy her completely.

Just as he began to lower the sword...

"..."

Boom!!!

A massive tentacle struck him and slammed him into a dozen trees.

The blow was so overwhelming that his body simply broke.

His bones and most of his organs were crushed.

Adel’s face went pale, and she was in shock for a few seconds before recovering.

’The Demonic Beast has recovered... but that shouldn’t be possible... no, wait, this is...’

From the other side, he sensed an enormous amount of Chaos Power.

"Class 7... It has evolved into a Class 7 in this time."

He had forgotten that detail. If he hadn’t had 6 Star power at that moment...

He would have died without a doubt.

Adel forced himself to stand up. His body creaked all over, but he would definitely kill that woman.

Or at least that’s what he thought when he noticed that she had barely gathered any Power of Chaos and was concentrating it into a necklace she was wearing.

’T-that necklace...’

That was definitely a magical item, and its effect was teleportation.

Adel screamed and cursed as he watched the woman’s body vanish just as the Demonic Beast fully awoke.

Tentacles swept across the skies and the earth, and the entire Golden Forest began to tremble violently.

"N-no, damn it, damn it, damn it... Ahhh, fuck!"

He shouted, even as blood spurted from his mouth. Then...

〖Warning!!! The Unique Trait, Eyes of the End, will be temporarily sealed for two days; until then, find a way to seal them or advance to 5 Stars〗

That wasn’t the only notification that appeared.

〖Warning!!! One of the three side effects of the Unique Trait, Eyes of the End, will be applied as a penalty for not unlocking the active effects〗

At that moment, Adel felt her body undergoing a strange change.

All his mana vanished, along with his physical strength. Most of all, he felt that his clothes were too big for him.

"What the hell!!!"

And his eyes couldn’t help but widen at the side effect.
