Si Linna’s phone rang again.

She quickly and anxiously answered the call.

Shao Wen was staring at her from the side, afraid she would run away.

"Hello."

"Sis, where are you now? Xiao Yuan and I are already waiting for you at the school gates, hurry over."

Shao Wen figured Si Linna would soon return with the car, so he quickly asked for Anning and Xiao Yuan’s numbers.

He smiled at them, "Feel free to reach out if you need anything."

Just then, Si Linna drove the car over. Xiao Yuan loaded the luggage onto the car, and Shao Wen took the chance to say a few words to Si Linna. Watching Anning and Xiao Yuan board the car, Si Linna drove off before returning to the school.

Mrs. Shao began her usual old talk.

Shao Wen moved the phone slightly away, waited for her to finish, then said, "I have someone I like already. Tell my aunt that the blind date should be canceled."

Anning and Xiao Yuan sat in the car, Si Linna turned back to glance at them, "There’s lunch in the thermos on the back seat. You two eat a little first, and I’ll take you for delicious food when we reach the town."

Anning found the thermos containers and opened them.

Inside were two large thermos containers, one had seaweed rice balls, and the other contained shrimp and greens.

Anning gave one of the rice balls to Xiao Yuan, "My sister makes great rice balls. Try it."

Xiao Yuan took a bite with a smile. He used the disposable chopsticks to pick shrimp and fed Anning.

The two were happily feeding each other.

Si Linna saw them in the rearview mirror, which brightened her mood as well.
