The four of them continued to slowly move forward, surrounded by an atmosphere of bleak desolation. Above, thunder and lightning crackled, with sporadic lightning bolts striking far off in the distance. The surroundings were devoid of any grass, just some withered trees. Even the ground beneath their feet was black.
