The Demon with Holy Radiance
Chapter 365 - 263: Your Excellency is a Demon Fiend from which State Territory?
You can never kill all the Demon Fiends. Whether it was the Golden Thread Pavilion or the Great Virtue Temple, none of these factions ever intended to drive them to complete extinction.
Why was that? The most likely reason was that these Demon Fiends had some value to them.
That’s why Yang An never dwelled on the issue.
He had already changed into common clothes, covered his face, and used an Illusion Technique to conceal his aura as much as possible as he silently approached Blood Sea Mountain.
As he drew closer and closer to Blood Sea Mountain, he found that, just as he expected, there was no trace of the Zombie God Great Demon Fiends’ auras within the so-called Demon Fiend lair.
All that remained were some insignificant minor demon fiends. The strongest were merely at the Corpse Transformation stage, and there weren’t many of them.
The vast majority of Demon Fiends had been moved out, leaving Blood Sea Mountain completely deserted.
The dense aura he could still sense was likely a lingering effect of the Demon Fiends having gathered here for so long.
It was like how maggots are drawn to foul, rotting places; even after the maggots are gone, the stench remains.
With Blood Sea Mountain currently vulnerable, Yang An seized the opportunity. He transformed into a black shadow and slipped silently into Blood Sea Mountain.
「Ten minutes later.」
A black shadow sped away through the rolling mountain range.
In his grasp was an ugly Demon Fiend, its body oozing pus.
He gripped the Demon Fiend’s body as countless strands of Golden Radiance pierced its flesh, constantly corroding its body and inflicting unbearable pain, preventing its flesh from healing.
This Demon Fiend’s Cultivation Level was only at the Late Stage of Visceral Stone. He had captured it in the deepest part of Blood Sea Mountain, which was the usual training ground for the Zombie God Great Demon Fiend. This particular Demon Fiend was a dedicated servant to the Zombie God Great Demon Fiend.
"Talk! Are you going to talk or not? Well? Talk!"
Yang An slapped the Demon Fiend across the face, one blow after another, giving it no chance to speak.
With each slap, countless strands of Golden Radiance, like fine needles, drilled into the Demon Fiend’s body, mangling its face until it was a bloody mess.
The Demon Fiend howled in agony, but Yang An immobilized it with a Dark Communication Spell and even tried out some other Light Magic on it.
The effects were quite good. The Demon Fiend would pass out from the pain, only for him to jolt it awake again.
The Bow Lady could barely watch. The scene was simply too brutal. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
"You little brat, at least give it a chance to speak! If you don’t want it to talk, you might as well let me swallow it whole."
Yang An chuckled wryly. Of course, he couldn’t bear to keep disgusting the Bow Lady.
"Bow Lady, you don’t understand, do you? We don’t worry about whether it’ll talk right away. First, you have some fun with it. When it can’t take it anymore, it’ll talk. And even if it dies, I’ve still got you in the end, don’t I?
These Demon Fiends are just masochists. You can’t give them a quick death, nor can you reward them. You have to make them feel the threat of death."
With that said, Yang An went back to pummeling the Demon Fiend, intent on torturing it to death.
Only when he grew tired of the beating did Yang An finally stop. He then drew out the immense amount of Golden Radiance from within the Demon Fiend’s body.
"You can understand what I’m saying, right?"
He asked, looking at the terror-filled eyes of the Demon Fiend.
The Demon Fiend finally got a chance to catch its breath. The areas where the Golden Radiance had been drawn out slowly began to heal. It nodded, trembling.
"Your Excellency... Your Excellency, which State Territory are you from? We’re the same kind! Seeing as we’re both Demon Fiends, please spare my life..."
"..."
’You motherfucker!’
’Who the hell is the same as you!’
Yang An immediately flew into a rage, delivering another dozen or so slaps until half the Demon Fiend’s head was blasted off before he stopped again.
With only half a face left, the Demon Fiend’s eyes were filled with nothing but bewilderment and terror.
Beneath it, the foul-smelling black blood had already formed a small stream, a gruesome sight to behold.
"I ask, you answer!"
Yang An said again.
This time, the Demon Fiend didn’t dare spout any more nonsense. It just nodded frantically, not daring to utter another word.
"Where did those Zombie God Great Demon Fiends of yours go?"
"The Demon Lord... The Demon Lord and the others went east... AHH!!"
The Demon Fiend hadn’t finished speaking when Yang An landed several more slaps, making it shriek in agony once more.
"Where to the east? Be specific."
"They went to Nine Phoenix Ridge!"
He checked with the Bow Lady. The information she possessed included the precise location of Nine Phoenix Ridge, so Yang An nodded.
"Get lost."
With a single kick, he sent the Demon Fiend flying dozens of yards. Half of its body exploded in a shower of gore.
The Demon Fiend clearly hadn’t expected Yang An to let it go, that he wasn’t going to kill it. It immediately scrambled desperately back in the direction of Blood Sea Mountain.
"Aren’t you afraid it’ll go back and snitch, bringing other Demon Fiends to retaliate?"
The Bow Lady was skeptical. Yang An’s move was no different from releasing a tiger back into the wild.
Yang An just smiled. He had only let one go; he had no intention of sparing the rest of Blood Sea Mountain. How could that be considered ’releasing a tiger back into the wild’?
’Since I’m already here, I might as well kill them all.’
’Evil Demons and Outsiders should be slain by all. Otherwise, I’d be unworthy of the title Buddha’s Son.’
He smoothly unslung the Bow Lady from his back, drawing the bow to its fullest extent in a single, fluid motion.
’It’s been a while since I’ve given the Bow Lady a good time.’
Yang An’s action surprised the Bow Lady, catching her off guard. She was suddenly drawn to full by Yang An, her string pulled taut, and she couldn’t help but cry out in surprise.
He was no longer the skinny weakling he once was. His powerful, muscular arms greatly satisfied the Bow Lady. A long arrow of golden light instantly condensed on the longbow, its long tail of flame seeming to pierce the night.
In the blink of an eye, the power had fully gathered, and the light flared brilliantly.
"Hurry... Hurry..."
The Bow Lady couldn’t take it anymore. The power was swelling, growing stronger and stronger, about to reach its explosive climax.
Yang An instantly locked onto the depths of Blood Sea Mountain. That sky-high, foul stench of demon fiend aura was a glaringly obvious target.
SWOOSH—
The light vanished from Yang An’s hands in an instant, streaking through the night sky as a brilliant, straight arc of light that shot directly into the depths of Blood Sea Mountain.
The string vibrated rapidly, blurring into afterimages. For a moment, the Bow Lady was silent.
In an instant, the dark night suddenly brightened. A massive sun abruptly appeared deep within the rolling mountain range, engulfing countless peaks and turning the night into day.
Seeing this and sensing that the foul, sky-high aura had been completely obliterated in an instant, Yang An broke into a smile.
He slung the Bow Lady over his back and prepared to fly away.
But just as he was about to leave, he seemed to feel something. He looked down at his hand doubtfully and brought it to his nose for a sniff.
’Strange... why is my hand so sweaty?’
