Chapter 1781: Bunnies With Potential

Ophelia saw a lot of potential in the abilities of the bunnies to make dolls for curses, similar to what the Witch Doctor did.

However, Opal saw many less reputable uses for super realistic dolls. Especially when you used [Reality Warp] on them to make them less doll like. The bunnies might go along with it, they were pretty open-minded that way.

The only downside was that they wouldn’t get any sort of combat bonuses, even with [Reality Warp], so the Doll Maker wouldn’t be as good as a Golem Master, even if they warped reality to make the dolls mobile.

Opal had the same restriction. She used [Reality Warp] to make illusions real, and the [Illusionary Domain] skill had some bonuses on it already, but it still didn’t do as much damage per construct as Dana’s basic golems.

They were durable, though.

The bunnies didn’t have that base for the skill to work with, and it was the illusion that made her [Reality Warped] scenarios so real. However, the bunnies could use it on daydreams, which was pretty cool.

However, the bunny man couldn’t speak. He seemed to have some basic personality, but it only extended towards caring for his creator. He gave her loving looks, but he wasn’t actually capable of doing much without her directions.

Perhaps, she should teach the Void Bunnies to use some illusionary magic to make better stuff?

That might trigger even more strangeness, though.

If it forced another class change without them having any skill points to be able to buy the skills of this class, it would be a huge loss for everyone. So, she would have to let them make mannequins for the crafters, and children’s dolls.

Those should be popular items for sale.

Reluctantly, the bunny returned her room to normal, though Opal noticed that she kept the super fluffy blanket. The ones that were already there were pretty soft, but this one was almost a mattress of pure fluff.

She had underestimated the bunnies love of soft things. They would have to be classified closer to Lotus on the scale of fluff lovers.

"Should we start making stuff for the Guild? I know that we’re all mortals, but there is a mortal branch, and we can help. They’re super busy, thanks to all the customers being at or below their level, and the Branch Leader is a blue dragon who will definitely thank you for helping out." Opal suggested.

She wanted to see what all the bunnies could do.

They had all the essential skills, just like the Lycans. But the Drodh and Zilaz branches would be super excited to see more mythic rank items coming their way. Well, mostly Zilaz, as the Lord of Drodh had asked them not to dump that sort of thing on his city.

The influx would take some of the stress off Sapphire’s shoulders as well. Opal liked the blue dragon. She was kind of stuffy, but she didn’t complain when Opal added new titles to the Library, and didn’t stop people from signing them out for reading at home.

Lotus cheered. "Hey, I know what we should do! Someone show them the runes for healing, and they can put them on bunny dolls. Like a trademark thing, healing bunnies made by bunnies of the Darklight Host!"

The bunnies stared at her in shock. That was an amazing idea.

They were reluctant to make things that hurt people, but they would definitely love to make healing dolls to honour the bunny goddess.

"You could make fertility charms as well. I know that the bunny goddess is one of fertility. So, having the bunnies with Runecrafting make fertility and healing charms in the form of the Goddess Lala would be the most bunny possible thing, right?" Opal asked.

One of the bunnies frowned. "We don’t all know one of those spells, though. I think that we need someone to show us the runes, or teach the skill, or we won’t be able to do it."

"I can do it! I got druid class, so I can do the fertility charms and some healing. What class did you get?"

"I got Archivist. But those three got Ranger. Getting Runecrafting doesn’t seem to have limited us to a crafting class, it just let us pick random stuff. Or assigned it to use without another option except warrior classes."

Obviously, the bunnies would not have picked the warrior classes, so they took whatever was left.

"Alright, we will make the first ones, and you can copy them. That should work, right?"

The bunny nodded. "I think so. It’s still Runecrafting, so we should be able to copy it once we know how it works. We just won’t be able to innovate as much if we don’t know the skills they’re based on.

The rangers should be able to make stealthy ones, I think. Maybe some attack ones too, if we have to. But healing and fertility are best."

The scene quickly turned into a communal brainstorming session, while the Doll Makers produced dozens of tiny bunny dolls, the sort of ones that kids would carry. It would be challenging to write on them, as they were soft cloth. The druids had a solution for that, through.

They would just make a wooden disc to put inside the dolls with the inscription.

Lotus gestured to the kitchen. "Cooks, with me! Let’s make high-energy snacks for our crafters. They have a hard night ahead of them, and they’ll need motivation."

The cooks laughed, but they loved cooking as much as Lotus did, so they didn’t hesitate to join her in the kitchen.

They had just stared their cooking mission when the smell attracted the two wayward scions of the local orphanage. Yewan and Tena.

"{Miss Lotus, are you making snacks? Can we help? I can taste test them to make sure they turned out right.}" Yewan offered.

"Sure, we can always use a taste tester. Just wait over there on the table, and someone will help you clean your paws so that you get all the flavours right."

That was brilliant, Yewan decided. If their paws were perfectly clean, they would only taste the food. He usually didn’t think about it. He would just give them a blast of dragon breath and call it good. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Tena did the same thing. Lightning cleaned claws very well.
