A squad of Soul Guardians wove through the crowd like phantoms, their movements swift and stealthy.

Ahead, newly delivered supplies were piled at the entrance of the camp like mountains.

The surrounding alliance members were long accustomed to this.

The Night Watchers were always like this, with supplies so abundant it seemed endless; none had ever experienced such a "wealthy" battle.

Seven figures in black robes silently ascended to the top of the supply piles. The leader of the team lifted his hood, revealing a face covered with curse runes.

He raised a strangely shaped lens, carefully scanning the supplies, ensuring they did not contain those detestable items of the Evil God.

This was an essential inspection process. Even though the supplies had already been screened multiple times before being transported, they still needed a final check by the Soul Guardians.

This was invaluable knowledge earned through countless blood and tears. After all, no one dared underestimate the methods of the Evil Gods.

On a small hill outside the camp, Blake, Raelia, and a group of command personnel stood.

They looked down from a height, taking in the entire battlefield on the plains.

Though the Night Watchers were equipped with detailed maps and various magical artifacts, enough to fully grasp the battlefield situation, Blake adhered to his old habit, bringing the command personnel to observe from a height and occasionally visiting the battlefield.

"How's the team gathering?" Raelia asked from behind.

Hearing this, Blake glanced at Raelia, who was staring directly at him.

Seeing her look, Blake helplessly shook his head, "In theory, that's a question I should be asking you, right?" he couldn't help but complain.

After all these years, Raelia's temperament hadn't changed a bit.

Upon hearing this, Raelia irritably shook her head, "I'm not good at this. My duty is to lead the elite squad into the rat swarm, take out their leaders, and eliminate those damned demons."

For this reason, she was dispatched to the front line, under Blake's command, temporarily separated from her squad.

As for Abis, she had already become a legendary stronghold. Given her unique profession and outstanding strategic thinking, she led the remaining squad members to command another battlefield.

"Then you'd better learn well, or you'll still just be a Combat Master," Blake remarked.

Abis had already become a Tactical Master, yet Raelia remained at the level of Combat Master, unconcerned about it.

At this moment, she disdainfully turned her head, seeing no significant difference between Combat Master and Tactical Master in her eyes.

She understood her strengths; being the spearhead of the team was her mission.

Knowing Raelia for a long time, Blake naturally understood her thoughts, merely reminding her out of habit.

After all, he was now extremely busy, whereas Raelia wandered around the camp all day with her weapon.

Raelia did not wish to discuss these topics she considered meaningless, treating them as passing wind.

Then, she noticed the small flags attached to Blake's waist.

"What are those? I've seen you fiddling with them lately."

"What? Oh, you mean this, it's a kind of attempt."

"A legendary attempt?" Raelia curiously asked.

Blake nodded, "Yes, I've been stuck at Level Ten for too long. I've been striving to fill in the foundations lacking due to rapid advancement, yet I'm still stuck here."

"Why not seek those priests? Aren't you the first among the Night Watchers to wield the Holy Light?" Raelia questioned.

"Indeed, but after all, I'm a Night Watcher. Even though I've received the blessing of Holy Light, everyone's path to legend is unique.

"There's no fundamental difference between a legendary figure of the Holy Light Church and an ordinary legendary figure," Blake explained simply.

Raelia didn't quite understand these things, just nodding her head, her curiosity satisfied.

Then, she listened as Blake began discussing tactical preparations with others.

Raelia's gaze drifted towards the camp below.

The camp bustled with activity.

Veterans of the United Army silently sharpened their weapons.

A one-eyed Snake-man smeared soil, taken back from his homeland, on his blade, humming a dirge under his breath.

Their homeland lay just beyond the rats' defenses, from which they once fled in retreat.

Now, after years, the time had come to reclaim their land, to ignite the flames of revenge against those detestable rats.

Behind the tents, a few Paladin apprentices were using Holy Water to wipe the dulled runes on their armor, only for an old Holy Knight passing by to kick over their water bucket.

"Use it sparingly!" the old Holy Knight barked, the blood and grime on his feet sizzling under the Holy Water's burn, "When you break into the fortress, you'll need that Holy Water to quench the Ratman's poisonous fire potsโ€”want to be roasted alive?"

The embarrassed Paladin apprentices stood there, accepting the scolding.

Trailing behind the old Holy Knight was a Heavy Armor Priest, who chuckled, "Don't be so tough on the youngsters. The Church members who joined the Night Watchers will ensure a sufficient supply of Holy Water."

Glaring at his friend for undermining him, the old Holy Knight turned his head.

It was merely a habit, being extremely cautious with Holy Water usage in the past, an ingrained habit hard to change.

Since collaborating with the Night Watchers, the supply of Holy Water had indeed never run short.

But he was simply intolerant of waste. Sigh, the times were changing too quickly, leaving him feeling a bit forlorn. ๐‘“๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐‘’๐‘ค๐‘’๐˜ฃ๐˜ฏโ„ด๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐“.๐‘๐‘œ๐‘š

The old Priest chuckled, patting him on the shoulder, "Quit lamenting here, this isn't like you old fellow."

"Bullshit, I'm not lamenting!"

The two bickered back and forth as they left.

As dusk began to envelop the fields, inside the Night Watchers' channels, information flowed rapidly.

Blake stood in the Command Camp, glancing between the sand table and the map.

Beside him were Night Watcher Commanders, filtering important information to report to him.

"It's begun." Blake muttered, his gaze sweeping across the campโ€”where he saw the Holy Light Bishop raise the Sun Wheel Staff high, dazzling flames reaching towards the sky, burning a glaring hole in the heavy clouds.

Snake-man Warriors ignited arrows soaked in Magic Potion, with the azure violet firelight casting shadows of past scars over their scales.

At this moment, Raelia drove the Giant Heavy Halberd into the ground, her eyes seemingly ablaze with fire, veins on her neck suddenly bulging like writhing serpents.

A shadowy blue force swirled around her body like a specter.

From afar, in the fortress built of filth, the horn of the Ratman Fort blared deafeningly, as swarms of rats flowed out from the gaps in the walls like a tide.

Indeed, the rats launched an assault despite being in a defensive position.

While their considerations remained unclear, the apparent increasing deployment on the frontline was clearly causing growing anxiety among the rats.

The Night Watchers had cut off nearly all the rats' "observations" of the outside world. They could only vaguely see the camp expanding day by day, knowing nothing of its internal details.

It seemed they planned to launch a raid tonight, solely to gauge the current state of the Night Watchers' camp.

"Did you hear that?"

Raelia drew out the Giant Heavy Halberd, its blade incredibly sharp, pointing directly at the blood-red churning night sky.

The alarm of enemy assault rang throughout the camp.

"This is their death knellโ€”"

The last gust of wind across Bruckal Field swept forward with the roar of thousands, charging towards death.
