Ling Feng said this and then asked, "Have the toxins in the deceased’s body been identified?"

"Yes, it’s cyanide. Once poisoned, there’s almost no time to rescue; it kills instantly," Chen Zhong replied.

Ling Feng squinted his eyes, then asked, "How about the suspects I provided?"

"These people are addicts. Surveillance has been arranged, but they haven’t been arrested yet," Chen Zhong said.

Ling Feng was taken aback, "Addicts? What does that mean?"

"They’re drug users, and their names are recorded at the local precinct—it’s easy to check," Chen Zhong said.

When they didn’t move to open the door, Ling Feng said sternly, "Open up, or we’ll break it down!"
