The Mad King's Heir
Chapter 101: Someone is jelly
Li Jun glanced at his uncle and said, "You are so nosy."
Damian took a large gulp before saying, "If I don’t ask you about it, who else will you tell? At least I should know who you are interested in."
"You are overthinking it. I am talking to Auntie Lu," he said, and his uncle was a little surprised.
He chuckled and said, "Don’t you mean mother-in-law?" Li Jun glared at him, and Damian laughed even louder. He continued to tease him, saying, "Are you denying him? I have his contact. I will write to him right now and tell him you don’t like him."
"We are not dating," Li Jun said, defending himself.
Seeing that he was telling the truth, Damian asked, "Why not give it a try? I dislike him, but if you really like him, I will tolerate him."
"After everything that happened in the past, you think we would make a happy couple?" he said. He wanted to leave it all behind. Well, at least that’s what he was telling himself.
Damian said, "Okay then. At least the old man has nothing to worry about."
"Let’s just play. This subject is too boring." That’s what he said then, but as he lay in bed at night, he couldn’t help but open his gallery so he could take a look at pictures Lu Anu had been sending him.
Each time he saw Yu Wen’s face, the smile on his face grew a little more. His eyes would sparkle under the floating screen light. If Damian were to see his face right now, he would retract his statement. The old man definitely had something to worry about.
Li Jun scrolled back up to the last picture she sent to him. He was about to check if she responded when he noticed something in the background. He was expecting Yu Wen, but whose hand was feeding him?
With a jolt, Li Jun sat up, and he zoomed in on the picture. It was Yu Wen, and there was a pretty hand with cherry red nail polish feeding him, but her face was outside the frame. "What the fuck," he swore under his breath, moving the picture around as though he could swipe past the frame to see the woman’s face.
He felt numb all over, his blood flowing backwards. He didn’t even realize that he hadn’t taken a breath until he felt a tightness in his chest. Li Jun closed the screen and lay back with his mind blank.
He stared at the ceiling in a daze before whispering, "Who the fuck is she?" This was what he wanted. For them to move on and forget about what had happened in the past. He wanted to let it all go, so why did he feel so sour like he had guzzled down a bottle of vinegar? He should be happy for him. That was the most reasonable reaction, but...
"Fuck," he swore under his breath and pulled the bed cover over his head. Li Jun thought he could sleep it off. A good eight-hour rest would help with his emotions. But when he woke up, he found that he was more annoyed than before. He was snippy, too, which took Draco and Damian by surprise.
After rejecting his spicy noodles in the afternoon, Draco couldn’t help but whisper to Damian, "You see that? That kid surnamed Yu must have made him mad. Look at him, he is even starving himself."
Li Jun, who had turned the corner, came back and said, "Did you say something, Grandpa?"
Draco didn’t know why, but he was so afraid of his grandson right now. He looked a tad bit similar to his late wife when she was angry at him. When she was mad, he learned to keep his mouth shut otherwise, she would get even angrier. Li Jun looked exactly like her in this moment.
He shook his head and said, "No, nothing, you were hearing things."
Li Jun said, "Oh, okay." After giving them a suspicious glance as though saying I am on to you, he turned and left.
As soon as he was gone, the two men heaved a sigh of relief. Damian was scared, too. Li Jun looked just like his mum just now. For a second, he thought a slipper would come flying in his face. "Why is he so scary?" he whispered, afraid to speak loudly.
"Don’t offend him today if you know what’s best for the both of us," the old man said before getting up. He was going to lock himself up in his lab just in case he accidentally stepped on a landmine.

Li Jun stayed mad for an entire day. Even when Lu Anu replied, he didn’t open it. He was afraid he would say something he would regret thus he ignored it. Damian and Draco could avoid him to prevent themselves from stepping into the line of fire, but Yan Jia was not afraid to jump right into it.
After Li Jun had traumatized the third punching bag, she asked, "Your Highness, you are going to break something if you keep kicking it." He stopped, breathing heavily, his hair stuck to his forehead. He looked at Yan Jia, and she handed him a bottle of water.
He twisted the cap and took a large gulp. Once he was done drinking, She asked, "Punching it out won’t help? Just tell me what is bothering you."
Li Jun sighed. He knew he couldn’t speak to his family about it because Yu Wen might get attacked the very day. Those two were hot heads. They would go and start some shit for no reason. Yan Jia was the only one here he could talk about it with.
"Let’s take a walk," he said, and Yan Jia nodded. The two of them walked through the large garden side by side.
"Who the fuck is that?!" she exclaimed, and Li Jun covered her mouth, whispering,
"Ssshhhh, do you want everyone to know?"
Yan Jia said, "Sorry, sorry, who is she?"
He was even more irritated now as he responded through gritted teeth. "How the fuck would I know?"
"Maybe it’s a nurse," she said, but once she spoke out loud, she realized how stupid that sounded. Yu Wen was very particular about who came near him, plus he was recovering well. Feeding himself wouldn’t be a problem.
AN: Ohhhhh someone is jelly!
