"You’re completely unreasonable!" She turned around and left, not knowing what to say to him.

This scene is just like when he chased her three years ago!

How nostalgic it was for him!

Lu Beiyao chuckled and looked up, just in time to see her being knocked on the head and quickly dragged towards a car.

Lu Beiyao ran over quickly, but the car was already speeding away. He sprinted back, floored the accelerator, and chased after them.

The two cars raced wildly down the road, with Lu Beiyao in hot pursuit, and the car ahead going even faster.

"Boss, the car behind us still hasn’t been shaken off!"

"Damn it, drive faster!"

Lu Beiyao pressed the accelerator again, quickly catching up, but through the windows, he could only see a few masked men.

Lu Beiyao overtook them, trying to block their way, but they rammed into him without hesitation!

These people, not afraid of death!

Lu Beiyao swiftly dodged, and as they turned into another lane, he aimed for the back of the car and slammed down the accelerator, crashing violently against it. The car was forced against a jagged cliff wall and stalled.

The people inside were thrown forward. Lu Beiyao quickly got out of his car, dragged Li Siru from the back seat, and cradled her as he carried her to his own car.

Having endured the impact himself, he felt a bit uncomfortable. He had just placed her unconscious body on the passenger seat when he was struck hard on the head.

Lu Beiyao collapsed onto Li Siru, shocking her awake.

She forced her eyes open and saw him lying on top of her, shielding her with his broad body while the wooden sticks struck his back.

Those men struggled and eventually fell down from exertion.

Lu Beiyao quickly buckled her seatbelt and used his hands to brace against the car as he slowly climbed into the driver’s seat to drive away!

The car hadn’t moved yet when the black car suddenly came crashing toward them and collided relentlessly.

Lu Beiyao’s car instantly flipped off the mountainside road. In that moment, Lu Beiyao reached out desperately to grab her hand—she couldn’t die!

The car’s shaking made Li Siru feel as if her insides were going to spill out, but eventually, the car landed upside down on flat ground.

Drip, drip... The sound of dripping water grew louder!

Lu Beiyao pushed her and said weakly, "Hurry, crawl out!"

His voice was frail. Li Siru blinked groggily, her vision swirling, finally clearing up to see blood dripping from his forehead, staining one half of his fair face almost entirely.

"Hurry and crawl out!" Lu Beiyao pushed her again with one outstretched hand.

The side window by the passenger seat had shattered, but the car door was open, with airbags filling the cabin, fortunately preventing more serious damage.

Li Siru glanced out and asked, "What about you?"

"You go first! I’ll be right out!" He was pinned by the airbags, not injured, but his foot was stuck somewhere he couldn’t see and couldn’t move.

Li Siru’s leg was also trapped halfway. Lu Beiyao reached over, pushing her leg out, allowing her to tumble to the side and escape smoothly.

She lay on the ground and looked back at Lu Beiyao, who repeated, "Why aren’t you leaving?! Go!"
