Chapter 1103: Sensing His Fury

At the moment Aldrian revealed his fury, the weather across numerous worlds changed instantly.

Regardless of what the weather had been before, dark clouds gathered in every sky. Thunder roared as lightning flashed within the clouds.

Bright days turned dim. Worlds that had already entered the night grew even darker as the clouds swallowed the moon and stars.

The atmosphere became tense.

Countless beings stared at the sky in confusion. The populace did not know the reason, yet when they looked at the dark clouds, a strange feeling rose within their hearts. It felt as if they were standing before someone who was furious.

To them, the lightning constantly flashing within the clouds seemed like a sign that the heavens themselves were enraged.

The change had happened too suddenly and every cultivator immediately understood that this was not a natural phenomenon.

Something had triggered it.

A panic spread among countless beings.

In the Ancient Blue Gate World, particularly in the Barisan Continent, the people of the Aster Empire looked at the dark sky with knowing expressions.

There was fear in their hearts, yet they quickly understood who could cause such a phenomenon.

They did not know what had happened to Aldrian, but many people instinctively turned their gaze toward the floating land at the core of the empire.

Whatever the reason, their emperor was furious.

Furious to a degree they had never seen before.

Many people immediately knelt and kowtowed toward Aldrian’s palace, their expressions filled with urgency.

"Your Majesty, please ease your anger."

"Your Majesty, please calm your fury."

"O our lord, our god, please ease your anger! Please do not bring destruction to the land your great self has nurtured and given life."

"O our lord, our god—"

Countless voices rose one after another.

Many people implored Aldrian to ease his anger. They could not see him, yet they could feel how furious their emperor was at this moment. The signs in the heavens were already a clear indication.

They hoped their pleas could calm their emperor’s fury.

While the populace continued to implore Aldrian to restrain his anger, inside Aldrian’s palace the members of the Aldrian family hurried toward one of his avatars in the throne hall.

They had seen the change in the sky. They could also sense the fury spreading through the heavens. Because of that, they knew Aldrian must be truly enraged.

Sylphia was the first to arrive at the throne hall.

When she entered, she saw the avatar sitting on the throne with a calm expression. Yet Sylphia could immediately feel that the atmosphere around him was different.

It felt as if a restrained fury was contained within him.

Seeing Sylphia enter the hall, the avatar released a deep breath and finally showed a faint smile.

Sylphia, however, frowned as she walked toward him.

"What happened? Is something wrong with your real body?" she asked.

As she asked this, the other family members also arrived at the throne hall.

Aldrey and Irene entered with worried expressions, Celestina resting in Irene’s arms. Baek Jimin and Angelica rushed in as well, their faces filled with concern.

Ao Tianhai followed behind them. Not far from him, Reiss and Aurelia also entered the hall.

Sylvia’s figure suddenly manifested inside the throne hall, and she immediately flew toward the avatar.

Seeing them gather like this, the avatar felt warmth in his heart.

However, the fury he sensed from his real body could not be hidden by a calm expression alone. He could clearly feel how furious his real body was, and that fury naturally influenced his own emotions.

His aura shifted slightly, making him appear somewhat furious as well, though he restrained it.

Still, he understood why his real body felt such anger, and the same fury rose within him.

There was no way he would allow those devils to disrespect his followers.

"Well, my real body is facing a situation that made him angry, but everything is fine," the avatar said with a smile. "There is no problem with him. He is healthy and completely safe, so please don’t worry."

However, he could see that his family did not entirely believe him. Their expressions still showed concern.

Aldrian was someone who rarely became angry. If something could make him furious, then it must be something truly significant.

They could not simply accept that he was fine and dismiss the matter just like that.

Celestina, who was in Irene’s arms, began to wiggle, showing that she wanted to be put down.

Understanding what her daughter wanted, Irene gently placed her on the floor.

Celestina was the only one who did not understand why everyone had gathered here. With innocent curiosity, she walked toward the avatar.

Her three-and-a-half-year-old figure approached him with small, adorable steps. The sight greatly soothed the fury in the avatar’s heart.

For little Celestina, the person in front of her was simply Aldrian. To her, there was no difference between the avatar and the real body.

When Celestina arrived in front of him, the avatar gently picked her up and smiled.

She happily wrapped her arms around his neck. He lightly tapped her back, holding her close. Her presence in his arms truly eased the anger within him.

"Where is your real body right now? Has he already reached the central region of Heaven?" Baek Jimin asked.

While lightly rocking Celestina in his arms, the avatar answered.

"Yes. He is almost at the place he intends to go. At the moment... well, I have to say those devils have made him quite furious, and he has caused quite a bit of chaos there."

He paused for a moment before continuing.

"However, as I said, there is no problem with him. He is currently taking care of those devils."

The others could only sigh, hoping that everything would be alright.

--------------------------------

Near the center of Heaven, Aldrian had already drawn the Sword of the End. He lifted the sword toward the heaven.

His avatar followed the same motion as a manifestation of the Sword of the End appeared in the avatar’s right hand.

The devils who sensed the overwhelming aura from the sword felt their souls tremble with despair. It was a, yet its unique aura made it seem like something that had descended from a higher Heaven into the First Heaven.

It felt like an artifact of the gods.

The three gods were once again astonished the moment they saw the sword in Aldrian’s hand. They knew that the sword was not an "ordinary" peak divine grade artifact.

It was something that should not exist in the First Heaven!

No. Even Aldrian himself should not exist in the First Heaven!

He possessed too many things that forced them to question the knowledge they had believed in their entire lives.

His strange energy. His abilities. His sword. His strength.

All of it was absurd!

They finally understood why this man had been described as the dangerous variable capable of ruining their alliance’s plan to conquer the entire universe.

They doubted that anyone in the First Heaven could face him, even though he had not yet reached the peak cultivation of the First Heaven.

What if he eventually stepped into the Immortal Realm?

What if he reached Transcendence?

What if he stepped into the Divine Realm?

Just the thought of it made their expressions turn grim.

"We must kill him now. If we let him continue wreaking havoc, we may lose our entire force in the First Heaven," the Eastern Emperor said.

"Although we must join forces to fight a mortal, that man is someone we cannot underestimate."

The other two gods agreed, and the three of them dashed toward the giant avatar.

But then they saw Aldrian point his sword at them. At that moment, the three gods felt goosebumps spread across their bodies. Their danger senses screamed in warning, and they instantly scattered with teleportation.

Not even a split second later, a giant beam of golden light shot from the sword in the avatar’s hand.

The beam tore through countless devils, interstellar vessels, and cruisers, destroying all of them before passing through the place where the three gods had just been.

The beam stretched so far that the devils could not see its end.

Aldrian did not stop.

He swung the sword to the side, and the massive beam swept across everything in its path. Then he spun his body and unleashed a full 360 degree slash.

Living beings were obliterated. The undead perished.

Interstellar vessels and cruisers split apart and exploded.

Nothing could stop the beam of light.

The three overlords appeared in different locations, gasping for breath as sweat rolled down their foreheads. They had survived only because of their quick reaction in evading the attack.

Yet their eyes trembled with horror as they looked at the destruction caused by that single sword technique.

The beam of light had actually reached the Arsien Star, and the terrifying thing was that the beam itself extended even farther beyond it.

The beam had sliced through nearly fifty percent of the northern hemisphere of the Arsien Star, causing the world to lose its north pole entirely.

A world the size of the Ancient Blue Gate World had lost half of its northern hemisphere!

The sight of a world being sliced apart made their hearts tremble with fear. This level of power was already far beyond anything they could contain.

It was a force that was impossible to face within the First Heaven.

At this moment, they truly wanted to break the seal on their cultivation so they could fight Aldrian with their full strength.

It was the only method they could think of if they wished to win this battle.

They knew that if this continued, they would die sooner or later!
