Chapter 269: Chapter 59: Morgan and Reagent No. 01

Silver Dragon Maiden Sandy stayed in the Dragon Pool for a while, then left the Dragon Pool and teleported away.

Within the Black Castle, it’s inscribed with numerous isolation spell matrices. Magic auras that haven’t passed ’authorization’ cannot use teleportation-type magic. — However, if it’s a very high-tier teleportation spell, it can ignore the matrix, because the highest level of participants in the Black Castle’s isolation spell matrices is only a High-level Mage.

Dragon Pool.

Ever since Silver Dragon Maiden Sandy left, Udi has been in deep thought.

Sandy wanted to exchange her territory’s products for the magical potion from the Black Wing Nest that could stimulate body development.

Such a magic potion clearly does not exist.

But Udi can package it to make it seem existent. Mixing Dragon Blood with some strange materials, putting it into potion bottles, calling it a magic potion, is naturally feasible.

However... doing so carries a considerable risk.

Judging from Sandy’s behavior and the various strange things in her territory, this Silver Dragon Maiden seems to be a research Mad Dragon.

After obtaining Udi’s ’Dragon Blood Magic Potion’, she will surely conduct frantic research....

And in this process, it’s bound to expose some troublesome things. For instance, the ’Dragon Blood Magic Potion’ could grant intelligence to unintelligent creatures and further evolve the flesh of Dragon Beasts, achieving terrifying effects that surpass those of Giant Dragons of the same species.

The former effect is still manageable; though slightly exaggerated, many Legendary Mages can achieve this, and even some special professions can achieve similar effects at the Master Level. (For example, Leanna researched souls using Spiritual Energy...)

But the latter effect is incredibly horrifying.

Are Giant Dragons the perfect creatures?

The genes and bloodline of perfect creatures are stable and solidified, theoretically incapable of any mutation.

Yet, almost all Giant Dragon species have numerous examples of mutations and degraded forms.

Thus, Giant Dragons are certainly not perfect creatures. At least ordinary Giant Dragons are not, but perhaps the three Legendary Dragon species of Dragon Race legend might be an exception.

Even if ordinary Giant Dragons are not perfect creatures, they are strong creatures that have taken a significant step in that direction. They were once one of the strongest overlords dominating the ancient Star Realm; even now, though slightly fallen, they are still among the top-tier powerful races. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

If such a powerful race were to have a magic potion that could be mass-produced to enhance their potential and aptitude limit... just the thought is terrifying.

In the Black Wing Nest, various monsters like goblins, kobolds, giant demons, goatmen, dragon-blooded humans, etc., their mutations, breaking through their own species’ limits — Silver Dragon Maiden Sandy and Great Elf Elder of Emerald Forest witnessing these might only elicit a simple admiration.

Because these races have inherently inferior bloodlines, there are many ways to overcome their species limits, and ’it’s too easy,’ hence they wouldn’t be startled.

However, a Dragon Beast evolving into a ’Giant Dragon’ is different, and further evolving based on the Giant Dragon, raising the limit, that difficulty is different.

This is not to say that other existences besides Udi cannot accomplish the above two points.

At least, the Five-Colored Dragon Mother and Platinum Dragon God can achieve them. The former created the entire evil Five-Colored Dragon Race, while the latter created the entire kind Metal Dragon Race.

With their tremendous power, they can even create Ancestral Dragons. Ancestral Giant Dragons are considered top-tier beings among ordinary Star Realm dragon species, creatures with ultimate bloodlines comparable to Titans, capable of acquiring deity-like power through natural growth, becoming great deity-like existences.

Creating even such terrifying ultimate creatures as Ancestral Dragons (all who touch deity levels can be termed ultimate creatures), could they not restore Dragon Beasts to Giant Dragons, or enhance the limits of ordinary Giant Dragons?

The reason for not doing so, according to Udi’s previous guess, is the too great price.

Dragon Gods certainly wouldn’t think about solving individual issues in small quantities; such solutions would be endless. What they wish to do certainly aims at resolving the problem from its root.

Udi thought a lot, weighing pros and cons, and decided to temporarily postpone the trade with Silver Dragon Sandy.

No need to rush; wait until the strength grows strong enough that some exposure will just be exposure.

This world ultimately is a world where the weak are prey to the strong.

So far, Void Power has already been widely spread. In the Tal Plane, there are tens of thousands of organisms with Void Power in their body, some directly obtained, others through bloodline propagation.

In the Abyss, every time Udi collects special products, he casually spreads Void Power in the Abyssal Wilderness. After a few years, counting the breeding Abyssal Creatures, those with Void Power in their bodies are estimated to exceed ten thousand.

Could Udi not understand the risks of doing such things?

It’s actually just choosing the most suitable action for himself based on his personality and environment.

If he didn’t spread Void Power, then he couldn’t obtain powerful follower races during his weak phase. Without powerful follower races, the improvement in power would naturally be slow, requiring personal efforts and spending a lot of time hunting, and the enhancement effect of Banquet would vary greatly depending on the quality of food consumed, thus limiting the growth speed. Naturally, one’s life would face more threats.

Although nowadays Udi’s main Banquet food is personally hunted in the Abyss, this is after he has already grown up; if in the earlier phase he hadn’t received support and drive from a host of Monster Races like Shiji, Mondo, and Kadan, then even now at merely twenty or so years of dragon age, he couldn’t possibly possess such formidable power.
