One master and one servant secretly led their horse out of the Shen Mansion, donned straw raincoats and hat, and quietly left the city, heading southeast.

After speeding up the pace, they found the so-called Nianyun Mountain Villa in half an hour.

The two found a secluded spot to tie the horse, and climbed up an old banyan tree with lush branches and leaves in the dark, observing every movement inside the villa.

"Miss, we’ve already waited for the time it takes an incense stick to burn. Will the master-in-law come?" Ming Yan asked lifelessly, lying on the tree.

The dim lights inside the villa indicated someone was living there; the master-in-law couldn’t possibly arrive before them.
