Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 904 - 383: Assistance and Spending (Part 2)
At this moment, Pororo was sitting cross-legged at the bow of the ship, his entire body covered in electric light.
The Thunderbird on his shoulder spread across his entire back, flickering with a blue-gray glow.
Seeing this situation, Alka did not disturb him and sat by the flowerbed in the center.
No one knew where the Crystal Dragon had gone. With its large size, flying around recklessly would be quite conspicuous.
Soon, Pororo came out of his trance-like state and sat down next to Alka from the bow of the ship.
"Were you praying just now?" Alka asked curiously.
To be honest, although Pororo worshiped the Sea God and was even the Storm Champion, Alka had never seen him engage in any religious prayers.
The only thing remotely religious he had ever done was the ritual of the storm.
But ever since he became the Storm Champion, even this trial was waived for him.
So, it was hard to believe that he actually worshiped the Sea God.
Pororo nodded: "A trial is needed, a real blood battle."
"What qualifies as a trial?"
"A battle like blood! Dangerous and powerful!"
Alka nodded. To be fair, their previous forceful entry into the Dream Realm to face the Devouring Mouth could definitely be considered a trial.
That, however, was more by coincidence and was easily resolved by Alka.
"Don't worry, the sea never lacks trials and blood battles."
Pororo nodded. He thought the same, not at all anxious.
The so-called trial was nothing mandatory, just an act to receive more blessings from the Sea God.
"Where are the others?"
"They all went to the island, saying they had some things to buy."
"Aren't you going?"
"What would I do there? I don't need to buy anything. Gold Coin doesn't have much use for me."
Pororo waved his hand, speaking nonchalantly.
Indeed, Pororo might be the only member of their Treasure Hunting Team who isn't interested in worldly treasures.
"When do we depart? Or are we going to stay here for a while?" Pororo asked.
"We need to stay here for about a month before we leave. The autumn-themed Treasure requires some time to be prepared."
Upon hearing this, Pororo nodded.
The peaceful night was about to arrive. Even though the sky remained bright, indistinguishable from daytime, Chadite and the others had already begun to return one after another.
Alongside Chadite was a middle-aged man wearing rather luxurious robes.
On his chest was a badge, which Alka vaguely remembered having seen on some large shop in the street.
After boarding Alka and their deck, he immediately noticed the tree that had shed its concealment.
Looking at the Crystal Gems hanging on it.
"So this beautiful Treasure Ship belongs to you? What a fine vessel." The merchant said with a smile.
Alka observed; he must be someone Chadite had invited to evaluate the treasures they needed to sell off.
"So, where are the treasures your team wishes to sell?" Upon hearing this, Chadite looked at Alka. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
Alka nodded and gently knocked on the flower bed beside him.
A vine suddenly extended from below the deck, dragging up a large, filled bag.
As the vine departed, the bag sagged, revealing an array of exquisite items inside.
"Storing them like this is too crude."
The merchant hurried over, saying, and seemed slightly concerned about the rough storage method of Alka and the others.
Alka looked at him but did not respond.
Chadite said, "These are the treasures we wish to sell. We hope you can assess a fair price for them."
"Of course, we are a compliant trading group certified by the Holy Mother Church and one of the largest merchant guilds on Gemini Island.
I'm somewhat aware of your achievements. Rest assured, we will undoubtedly give a very fair price."
Alka and the others hadn't overly flaunted themselves, but last time, when they returned to Gemini Island without covering their Treasure Ship, it certainly drew enough attention.
Not to mention the Crystal Dragon on their ship.
It's impossible to expect the Crystal Dragon to stay on deck for long periods, as it would simply be torture for her.
These two factors combined were enough to draw people's attention to Alka and the others.
Curiosity naturally led to a bit of investigation.
Moreover, competent merchant guilds would surely know about what they had accomplished in the Land of Spirits, as word had already gotten around.
After all, for quite some time, Alka had seen supply ships occasionally bringing goods to the fortress.
At this moment, Alka narrowed his eyes slightly, peering into the merchant's emotions.
When he first saw the treasures, there was an unmistakable disbelief in his heart.
Seeing the quantity of treasures, he showed slight surprise, and as he examined the treasures more closely, his surprise amplified.
It was unlikely because of the value.
Alka suspected he realized these treasures might have come from the Nafasi Clan's Treasure Vault.
After all, that was a powerful family, one rumored to have secret treasures on the island.
Since the merchant's guild he is part of is the strongest on Gemini Island, he must have some understanding of the Nafasi Clan.
