He roared with laughter before continuing, "The heart of the people. The core of my dao. I would only have myself to blame if I were to end up abandoned by humanity, the allied races, and my fellow daoists. Today, I shall lay the foundation for the myriad daos."

With a rumble, the gigantic token transformed into a platform. With that, the domain dao finally gained support. In the blink of an eye, it connected with the human lord's token. And thus, the beginning of the dao was established.

There were pros and cons to this. However, perfection was impossible for the current Su Yu. He could only try to make sure the pros were more than the cons. The moment the foundation of the dao was established, chaos power crashed into it from all directions.

Rejection.

Chaos itself was rejecting Su Yu's act of Creation. This was a counterattack.

To attempt Creation was to introduce order to chaos.

This was an invasion.

Back when the Master of Time and Master of Death attempted Creation, they had transformed chaos into the barrier of their respective realms, taking over the space that originally belonged to chaos. They pushed into the territory of the chaos dao with their own daos.

The start of a dao was always visible to the naked eye, similar to how everyone could see Lan Tian's crimson path when he was pioneering his dao.

The dao started growing.

However, rumbling sounds rang out repeatedly as the surrounding chaos continued its assault against the newly created dao. The dao was being rejected. Its existence was denied.

"Stabilize!"

With a roar, the dao pushed onward and broke through the chaos power around it. At the same time, the second dao was added into the mix. The domain dao alone would be incomplete.

Domain symbolized space. But the myriad daos required life and death, yin and yang, and the five elements. At the moment, his new dao was mere empty shell. Thus, he introduced the five elements to the mix.

The earth dao would be the first of the five to be introduced.

"Earth begets metal. With enough earth, mountains can form. When there are mountains, there are stones. With stones, metal can come into existence."

Su Yu's voice rang out as he narrated his process, "In the dao of domain, the five elements must be present. The five elements shall forge the foundation of this dao. From earth, metal is born."

A different page flew out before transforming into another path.

"This is merely the start. These daos are still fake daos. The fusion has yet to begin. I will first lay down the five elements before fusing them into the domain dao."

He continued his narration, ensuring that everyone would understand what he was doing. Everyone listened in silence. Not only was he allowing them to observe the process, he was even explaining it. One ought to admit that as of this moment, Su Yu was emanating an unique charm. Dao pioneering was supposed to be a highly private affair, but he was openly sharing it with all of them.

They might not be able to replicate the process, but they would remember every detail. What they saw today might benefit their descendants for generations. This could very well be the first Creation to be recorded in such great detail.

After some time, the five elements came together. Five paths could be seen, extending into the distance. Next, he had to fuse the five elements before fusing everything into the domain dao.

But just as Su Yu was about to fuse the earth and metal daos, a bolt of lightning dropped down noiselessly. Prior to dropping, it showed no sign that it was going to move. It was as though chaos had finally determined that this person was truly attempting Creation here. And thus, it decided to strike back. This was a dao conflict. It would most certainly not tolerate it.

Su Yu was essentially stealing its territory.

Bolt after bolt of chaos lightning descended even as the surrounding chaos power converged around Su Yu to form even more lightning bolts. There was no pause between each bolt. Chaos was making it clear that this was an attempt to remove the Creator. The Creator would not be given a break.

After some time, Su Yu started cursing, "I've barely started! What's with this intense reaction!"

Wasn't this reaction a bit too excessive? Wounds started accumulating on his body as he looked at the rain of lightning with a helpless expression.

What was this?

This was just the start! Shouldn't chaos wait until he was near completion before reacting?
